Abstract

This study aims to evaluate whether the idea of ultimate reality in world religions contributes to the characteristics of the world religion paradigm, which is hierarchical cosmology or “subject-object cosmology.” Several research on this topic claims that one of the characteristics of the world religion paradigm is its hierarchical perspective. Discussing this issue is important to distinguish the world religions as the paradigm and the world religions as the most widely embraced religion. This study argues that the hierarchical perspective of the world religion paradigm can be rooted in the idea of ultimate reality, that there is a supreme, foremost, and most principal reality in the continuity of this universe, namely the supernatural or God. The hierarchical cosmology consists of three main domains: supernatural/God, culture/human, and nature. This study uses a literature study methodology, relying on books, journals, and texts related to research questions. This study finds that the world religion paradigm or hierarchical cosmology or “subject-object cosmology” is prominent, especially in Abrahamic religions such as Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, even though the concept of ultimate reality in these three religions is different. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi apakah gagasan tentang realitas tertinggi dalam agama-agama dunia turut berkontribusi membentuk karakteristik paradigma agama dunia, yaitu kosmologi hierarkis atau “kosmologi subjek-objek”. Beberapa penelitian tentang topik ini mengklaim bahwa salah satu karakteristik paradigma agama dunia adalah perspektifnya yang hierarkis. Membahas masalah ini penting untuk membedakan agama-agama dunia sebagai paradigma dan agama-agama dunia sebagai agama yang paling banyak dianut. Kajian ini berpendapat bahwa perspektif hierarkis paradigma agama dunia dapat berakar pada gagasan tentang realitas tertinggi, bahwa ada realitas tertinggi, utama, dan paling utama dalam kelangsungan alam semesta ini, yaitu supernatural atau Tuhan. Kosmologi hierarkis terdiri dari tiga domain utama: supernatural/Tuhan, budaya/manusia, dan alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kepustakaan, dengan mengandalkan buku, jurnal, dan teks-teks yang berkaitan dengan pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa paradigma agama dunia atau kosmologi hierarkis atau “kosmologi subjek-objek” menonjol, terutama dalam agama-agama Abrahamik seperti Islam, Kristen, dan Yudaisme, meskipun konsep realitas tertinggi dalam ketiga agama tersebut berbeda.

Abstract

Islam constantly calls for peace and togetherness, even condemning violence and terror. However, the charge against Islam as a terrorism ideology is a very heartbreaking thing for the (Muslim) community. However, it can not be denied that there is a tendency in understanding the Qur’an and hadith textually and literally an sich that can lead to behavior that seems anarchist, intolerant, and tend to destructive. Jihad teachings, for example, are often misunderstood as justification for actions and propaganda, radical acts, bombings and terrorism. Seeing the reality that happens, is a necessity to provide a correct understanding of Islam. As a first step, it is necessary to comprehend a comprehensive methodology in understanding nash. There is many discussions in the matter of terrorists and jihad, therefore it must be distinguished between the two with the real meaning in the perspective of the Quran. In this discussion, there will be limited issues to be discussed include the definition of terrorists and jihad, verses that are often misunderstood as justification of terrorism, and how the full point of view of the Quran related to terrorism.

Abstract

This study describes the cultural adaptation carried out by the factory worker community consisting of various ethnicities and religions at PT Satya Krisma in Tebo Ilir Jambi, in maintaining religious harmony. This research uses qualitative research that emphasizes the depth of information obtained through interviews and is also supported by field observation methods. The results of the study show that first, the reality of life that occurs in the community of factory workers in the village of Betung Bedarah Barat is very harmonious and harmonious until now, because the community always respects and respects, and always prioritizes mutual assistance and cooperation. Second, factors that influence the occurrence of harmony are internal and external factors, internal factors are tolerance, dialogue between communities and there is also awareness of diversity. The external factor is that there are institutions that support religious harmony, namely the involvement of the government, traditional leaders and religious leaders. Third, in maintaining harmony, they have strategies including strengthening brotherhood, the role of traditional leaders, religious leaders, and maximizing regulations and the role of local governments.Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang adaptasi budaya komunitas buruh pabrik dalam menjaga kerukunan umat beragama di PT Satya Krisma di Tebo Ilir Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang menekankan pada aspek kedalaman informasi yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan didukung pula oleh metode observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  pertama, realita kehidupan yang terjadi pada komunitas buruh pabrik di desa Betung Bedarah Barat sangat rukun dan harmonis sampai saat ini, karena masyarakat selalu menghargai dan menghormati, dan selalu mengedepankan sikap saling bantu dan bekerja sama. Kedua, faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya keharmonisan yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal, faktor internal yaitu adanya sikap toleransi, dialog antar masyarakat dan juga terdapat kesadaran. Faktor eksternal yaitu terdapat lembaga yang menjadi pendukung dalam kerukunan umat beragama yaitu adanya keterlibatan pemerintah, tokoh adat dan tokoh agama. Ketiga, dalam mempertahankan kerukunan, mereka mempunyai strategi di antaranya memperkuat tali persaudaraan, melibatkan tokoh adat, tokoh agama, dan memaksimalkan peran regulasi pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

Korupsi merupakan tindak kejahatan yang tergolong berat karena ruang lingkup kejahatannya menyangkut kepentingan negara, mengambil uang negara yang semestinya diperuntukan untuk kepentingan rakyat. Korupsi telah dianggap hal biasa, dengan dalih sesuai prosedur. Koruptor tidal lagi merasa malu dan takut, sebaliknya memamerkan hasil korupsinya secara demostratif. Korupsi merupakan tindak pidana luar biasa (extraordinary Crime) yang dari segi hukum positif sangat bertentangan begitu pula dengan Hukum Islam, meskipun di dalam Al-Qur’an tidak disinggung mengenai korupsi, namun para ulama telah memutuskan bahwa korupsi merupakan tindak pidana yang luar biasa yang dampaknya sangat besar terhadap masyarakat pada umumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korupsi dan dampak hukum Islam dan juga menjelaskan bagaimana pandangan hukum Islam tentang korupsi, bagaiamana hukum Islam memandang dampaknya serta bagaiamana penaganannya dalam pandangan Islam

Abstract

This Study discusses Mahad al-Jamiah IAIN Bukittinggi and the social piety of the students in Mahad al-Jamiah IAIN Bukittinggi. The object of study is the programs implementted by Mahad al-Jamiah IAIN Bukittinggi. This study was analyzed using the theory of social piety that was initiated by Wasisto Raharjo about the concept Ideal of social piety. The results of this study are the implications of the Mahad al-Jamiah IAIN Bukittinggi program for social piety is the practice of religion and habituation of worship, the moderation of understanding Mahasantri religion as well as the religious and social piety of Mahasantri Mahad al-Jamiah IAIN Bukittinggi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study explains the challenges and solutions to problems that arise related to the presence of a digital based technology world, one of which leads to the world of Islamic education. Islamic religious education must reform and innovate its system. Because if this is not done, then Islamic Religious Education will be left behind, especially in relation to the learning process in the classroom. Currently, the presence of a sophisticated technology based learning model will certainly be a challenge and a separate problem for Islamic Religious Education, especially in the learning process that will be carried out, is Islamic Religious Education able to compete and not be left behind in today's digital era. This issue is certainly quite complicated for all related elements, because situations like this have never happened before. The research method used is Library Research, where the data taken comes from writings and literature that support this research. Preliminary findings show that today PAI must be able to compete and leave conventional ways to reform in accordance with the current situation. PAI is considered necessary to find solutions to the challenges and problems of Islamic Religious Education because this is an important aspect in the world of Islamic education, especially in order to be able to give birth to civilized humans and future leaders in accordance with Islamic teachings.Keywords: Challenges and Problems, Learning Islamic Religious Education, Digital EraAbstrakPenelitian ini menjelaskan tentang tantangan dan solusi dari permasalahan yang muncul berkaitan dengan hadirnya dunia tekhnologi berbasis digital, dimana salah satunya mengarah kepada dunia Pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan Agama Islam harus melakukan pembaharuan dan inovasi terhadap systemnya. Karena jika ini tidak dilakukan, maka Pendidikan Agama Islam akan semakin tertinggal, terutama dalam hubungannya dengan proses belajar di kelas. Saat ini hadirnya model pembelajaran berbasis tekhnologi yang canggih tentu akan menjadi tantangan dan problematika tersendiri bagi Pendidikan Agama Islam khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan, apakah Pendidikan Agama Islam mampu bersaing dan tidak tertinggal dalam era digital hari ini. Persoalan ini tentu cukup pelik dirasakan oleh semua unsur yang terkait, karena situasi dan keadaan seperti ini belum terjadi sebelumnya. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah Library Research, dimana data yang diambil berasal dari tulisan dan literatur yang mendukung penelitian ini. Hasil temuan awal menunjukkan bahwa hari ini PAI harus mampu bersaing dan meninggalkan cara-cara konvensional menuju pembaharuan yang sesuai dengan keadaan saat ini. PAI dianggap perlu mencarikan solusi atas tantangan dan problematika Pendidikan Agama Islam karena hal ini merupakan aspek penting dalam dunia Pendidikan Islam khususnya agar mampu melahirkan manusia beradab dan pemimpin masa depan yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam.Kata Kunci: Tantangan dan Problematika, Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, Era Digital

Abstract

Reffered to The Federal Constitution of Malaysia, its clearly found that Article 3(1) of the Constitution has allocated that Islam is the religion for the Federal, but the Constitution also allows the freedom to all individuals to practice their own religions peacefully and harmoniously in any parts of the Federal. This Article was enforced till today as the result of the tolerate among the Malays between the Chinese and Indian as a migrate ethnics as the first step toward independence. The Article 3(1) also become an important role to guarantees to all non Muslim to practise their religions without discrimination. This Article 3(1) are very significant for the plural society in Malaysia. Further discussion will be explain in this paper. Apabila dirujuk kepada Perlembagaan Persekutuan Malaysia, terdapat secara jelas pada Perkara 3 (1) iaitu agama Islam adalah agama Persekutuan dan agama-agama lain boleh diamalkan dengan aman dan damai di mana-mana bahagian Persekutuan. Peruntukan yang termaktub dalam dokumen undang-undang ini adalah merupakan kesepakatan yang berjaya diperolehi hasil tolak ansur antara orang Melayu dengan mereka warga imigran Cina dan India menjelang proses kemerdekaan tanah air. Perkara 3 (1) juga telah mengangkat kedudukan agama-agama lain terjamin tanpa diskriminasi dan penganut kepada agama-agama selain Islam tidak perlu rasa bimbang untuk terus mengamalkan ajaran dan anutan pilihan masing-masing. Dalam konteks masyarakat majmuk di Malaysia, perkara ini adalah sangat signifikan. Suasana yang aman sangat diperlukan bagi negara seperti Malaysia yang mempunyai rakyat berbilang etnik dan berbilang agama. Perbincangan lanjut akan diterangkan dalam kertas kerja ini.

Abstract

Alquran, as the Holy Book of Moslems, contents all of the guidance for humans in their life. Those guidances are written in global, not in detail. On the other hand, humanity consists of physics and psychics, and all need guidance from Allah in the Holy Qur’an. One of the directions is about psychology that is defined as a science of mental activities of a living organism. According to the Holy Qur’an, there are five terms of psychological aspects, and they are al-nafs, al-aql, al-qalb, al-ruh, and al-fithrah. All of these we call them the inner dimensions of human or psychology. Each of these aspects has a similarity to understand psychology. But in other case has different meaning and function.

Abstract

This study explains Mahmud Yunus' interpretation construction from an academic perspective in the Tafsir Al-Fatihah book. This book appeared in the early 20th century, where interpretations in Indonesian or regional languages dominated interpretive works. So, uniquely, this book comes in Arabic script and different writing techniques and hermeneutics from the works that appeared in the era. The construction of this interpretation is studied with the literature method and philosophical, historical approach, by looking at the historical influence of Mahmud Yunus' social and scientific setting in producing the Tafsir Al-Fatihah, as well as studying the resulting interpretive building philosophically so that it displays the academic manhaj in this work. Mahmud Yunus' scientific career journey at several educational institutions in West Sumatra was a factor that encouraged him to compile a special interpretation book for intellectuals, where this work was compiled by presenting a wealth of information about Surah Al-Fatihah, presented with different systematic and more detailed writing techniques. With existing native interpretations. Studi ini fokus menjelaskan tentang kontruksi penafsiran Mahmud Yunus dari perspektif akademisi dalam kitab Tafsir Al-Fatihah. Kitab ini muncul pada masa awal abad ke-20, dimana karya-karya tafsir yang didominasi oleh tafsir berbahasa Indonesia atau bahasa daerah Maka uniknya, kitab ini hadir dengan aksara dan bahasa Arab dengan teknik dan hermeneutika penulisan yang berbeda dengan karya-karya yang muncul pada eranya. Konstruksi tafsir ini dikaji dengan metode kepustakaan dan pendekatan historis filosofis, dengan melihat pengaruh historis setting sosial dan keilmuan Mahmud Yunus dalam menghasilkan kitab Tafsir Al-Fatihah, serta mengkaji secara filosofis bangunan penafsiran yang dihasilkan sehingga menampilkan manhaj akademisi pada karya ini. Perjalanan karir keilmuan Mahmud Yunus pada beberapa lembaga pendidikan di Sumatera Barat menjadi faktor yang mendorong beliau untuk menyusun kitab tafsir khusus bagi kalangan intelektual, dimana karya ini disusun dengan menampilkan kekayaan informasi tentang surat Al-Fatihah, disajikan dengan sistematika dan teknik penulisan yang lebih rinci berbeda dengan karya-karya tafsir  pribumi yang ada.

Abstract

MTQ is a manifestation of Islamic culture and is constantly evolving. MTQ is also one of the government policies related to Muslims and even seems to accommodate the interests of Muslims. The author believes that MTQ can be investigated from various aspects. If viewed from a religious perspective, MTQ is one way to improve spiritual life. If viewed from an economic standpoint, MTQ can support economic development through exhibitions or bazaars held in the main arena. Whereas if it is highlighted with the political glasses of MTQ, perhaps on the one hand the government is accommodating towards Muslims. This paper attempts to describe MTQ and its ins and outs, then also attempts to analyze MTQ as a form of aesthetic reception of the Qur'an and the political dimension of MTQ. The effort to express the Koran aesthetically has actually emerged since the time of the Prophet Muhammad. One of the most popular stories is about the Islamic story of Umar ibn Khattab after hearing the reading of several verses of the Qur'an by his younger sister named Fatimah with her husband named Sa'id bin Zayd. Therefore MTQ is an opportunity to develop the art of reading the Qur'an, and an event to foster awareness to read and study the Qur'an.
