Learning the Quran and Hadith is one of the subjects given at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Ideally, this learning effectively achieves the goals of National education, especially those related to understanding the main points of Islamic teachings and the proper way of practicing them in everyday life. Preliminary studies indicate that learning the Quran and Hadith is still not able to achieve the goals or ideals outlined by the curriculum. The Quran and Hadith material still dominantly emphasizes memorization/knowledge and is still far from solving problems (problem-solving skills). This study aims to develop learning the Quran and Hadith to instill the values of social care and become learning that challenges students' intellect and curiosity. The method used in this research is Research and Development, which steps in the form of a Preliminary Study, Development, and Product Testing. The development of the Social Inquiry model in learning the Quran and Hadith is significantly proven to be able to the teacher's social inquiry stating that in implementing learning, developing student creativity increases in learning. It can be interpreted that learning the Quran and Hadith based on social inquiry is practical to be implemented.

Quran, as the main source of Islam and the last revelation of Allah, contains countless knowledge and solutions of any creature’s problems. Quran explains most of matter with general terms and condition then Prophet Muhammad came with specific explanation. It signifies that any problem mentioned in Quran, whether generally or specifically, such a big problem of any creature. One of it is khamr. Khamr is an Arabic terms which is usually identified as intoxicating drinks or alcohol. Quran mentions word khamr in several verses in different Surah. It mentions with diverse word forms and patterns. Some of them are written in Arabic general form (nakirah) and others are in specific form (ma’rifah). Therefore, this diversity must create various meanings of the word. This paper aims to discuss the several of term khamr in Quran due to the distinct patterns of the words. It is focused on the Arabic linguistic study for issuing the basic meaning of khamr. Therefore, common people and moslem scholar may know what the true meaning of khamr. This research find that not all Khamr mentioned in pertain to unlawful thing, for only that which is written in specific form (ma’rifah) or with (ال) pertains to it.

Komersialisasi (Jual beli) pupuk kandang menjadi salah satu masalah yang diperselisihkan status hukumnya di kalangan Ulama. Ulama Hanafiyah membolehkan pemanfaatan dan jual beli pupuk kandang sekalipun hukumnya najis. Ulama syafi’iyah menganggap makruh menggunakan pupuk kandang karena najis, dan tidak membolehkannya menjadikan pupuk kandang sebagai objek jual beli, tapi boleh dengan akad pengguguran hak. Ulama Malikkiyah dan Hanabilah membolehkan pemanfaatan dan penjualan pupuk kandang yang berasal dari hewan yang halal dan mengharamkan untuk hewan yang haram dimakan. Dalam tataran implementatif, keluar dari khilaf adalah hal yang lebih baik. Maka menggunakan akad ijarah ‘ala al-manfaah (upah mengupah) merupakan jalan keluar yang dapat ditempuh.

One of the most complex problems for the Indonesian people today is corruption. Seeing the phenomenons of corruptions, the author considers the need to look back in full at the Qoran, especially in the verses that are conditional with the message of anti-corruption so that it is expected that there is a comprehensive and clear picture that Islam always appears in a strong position as a force to eradicate corruption. The main problem or problem, namely: How is the interpretation of the Qur'anic verses that speak related to the problem of corruption in the present context and how to eradicate it. There is no direct text that talks about the specifications of corruption and other similar dirty practices. In the Quran, corruption is understood through the word ghalla or ghulul, which means the misappropriation of spoils of war in the letter Ali Imran verse 161, besides that it can also be understood through statements about the prohibition of consuming the property of others in an illegal way, in a contemporary context, both verses understood as an argument about corruption.

Not many people know the book Tafsir al-Kabîyr as people know the author Ibn Taymiyyah and his other works. It could be seeming from the lack of this book as a reference in the study of Qur’an and Tafsir. In fact, it was Ibn Taymiyyah who initiated the Tafsir bil-ma'tsur method used by his student Ibn Kathir. But Tafsir al-Kabîr is in fact not as complete and well-known as Ibn Kathir's Tafsir. This could be due to the incomplete verses that are interpreted in the book. This article aims to describe the book Tafsir al-Kabîr Ibn Taymiyyah and explore Ibn Taymiyyah's style of discussion in Tafsir al-Kabîr by describing several examples. This type of research is literature research with analytical content analysis and descriptive-analytical approaches. In his Tafsir, Ibn Taymiyyah interpreted them thematically but then collected the explanations in the order of the manuscripts which impressed Tahliliy. Substantively, Ibn Taymiyyah's interpretation in Tafsir al-Kabîr is not as detailed as he did as he formulated the Muqaddimat fi Ushul al-Tafsir book. Ibn Taymiyyah, only relates the diction of the verse which is his focus and is discussed linguistically. Ibnu Taymiyyah also quoted several related Hadiths. However, the discussion of ideas and ideology that Ibn Taymiyyah usually does is not seen in his many explanations in his other works.

Di antara permasalahan etika berpakaian dalam Islam adalah Isbâl, yaitu memanjangkan pakaian sampai ke bawah mata kaki bahkan hingga menyapu jalan. Dalam Islam, Isbâl diperbolehkan secara mutlak bagi wanita. Namun bagi laki-laki masih diperdebatkan karena bisa saja disertai dengan kesombongan. Ada banyak hadis yang menjelaskan tentang perkara Isbâl dengan berbagai bentuk penjelasan. Sebagian ulama menilai bahwa Isbâl secara mutlak dilarang bagi laki-laki tetapi sebagian ulama lain menilai bahwa permasalahan mendasar dalam etika berpakaian adalah kesombongan.

Alquran is the last Holy Book which is sent down by Allah as the Guide Book for whole human-being. It concludes any aspects. Not only for Moslems, Alquran actually also aimed for any creatures in the universe. This is the actual meaning of rahmatan lil ‘âlamiyn (Islam comes as the mercy for all). To prove it, deep researches and develop observations are needed. Especially, it has to be done in Alquran as a main source of Islam. On of the aspect that has explained in Alquran is sexuality. Sexuality in this paper means anything related to sex such as human lust, genitals, and sexual contacts. In Alquran, terms of sexuality are mentioned in many verses in different surahs. This paper purposed to explain the Alquran verses of sexuality. The methodology that applied in this paper is library research with descriptive-analityc approach. Furthermore, this paper was explained by combining alquran exegesis explanation methods; Mawdhû’iy (Thematic) and Comparative (Muqâran). Alquran adalah Kitab suci terakhir yang diturunkan Allah untuk menjadi buku petunjuk bagi seluruh umat manusia dalam segala hal. Tidak hanya bagi umat Islam, Alquran sejatinya ditujukan bagi seluruh alam. Itulah yang dimaksud dengan Islam rahmatan lil ‘âlamiyn (Islam adalah berkah bagi seluruh alam). Untuk membuktikannya, diperlukan penelitian mendalam dan berkembang terhadap seluruh sumber-sumber keIslaman khususnya Alquran sebagai sumber utama. Salah satu aspek yang terpaparkan dalam Alquran adalah seksualitas. Seksualitas yang dimaksud adalah segala hal yang berhubungan tentang kelamin seperti nafsu seks, kelamin,hingga kontak kelamin. Di dalam Alquran, term-term terkait seksusalitas tersebut dijelaskan pada banyak ayat di surat-surat berbeda. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang ayat-ayat tersebut dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Tulisan ini juga bersifat penelitian pustaka dengan menggunakan metode penyajian tafsir Alquran kombinasi antara Tematik dan Komparatif.

It has become customary that every Muslim anywhere in the world are obliged to fast during Ramadan. One of the annual problems that always appear at the Ramadan is the determination of the beginning and end of Ramadan by sighting the moon. On the orders of the Prophet Muhammad, the determination of Ramadan should be done at the end of the month of Sha'ban. The beginning and end of Ramadan is determined by the appearance of the crescent moon. Such activity is known by rukyat hilal. In its history, the Prophet explained that the methodology of the determination of the beginning and end of Ramadan is sighting the crescent moon with eyes. If sight is obstructed by natural phenomena such as cloud cover, the day of the month of Sha'ban accomplished to 30 days. Contemporary, classic visual method has been carried out with the use of modern tools. Problems often arise because of differences in the understanding the passages of sunnah related to this. Some considered that the hilal rukyat commanded by the Prophet Muhammad is rukyat fi'liyyah while others considered that it is more accurate to use rukyat 'Ilmiyyah with the arithmetic method of calculation (hisab). In Indonesia, the different interpretation and understanding that always makes a difference in executing the fasting and Idul Fitri.

Rokok pada awalnya berupa tembakau yang dibakar dan dihisap melalui sebuah pipa. Kegiatan ini awalnya dilakukan pada saat berkumpulnya beberapa suku untuk mempererat hubungan antar suku yang berbeda. Di Indonesia, merokok sudah menjadi hal yang biasa secara turun temurun. Pada artikel ini, penulis akan mencoba untuk mengkaji hukum tentang merokok. Karena fenomena yang kita saksikan saat ini dirasa sudah cukup untuk membuktikan bahwa rokok sudah menjadi kebutuhan sebagian masyarakat indonesia saat ini dan ada juga yang memakainya sebagai sampingan saja. Berangkat dari berbagai dalil yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya baik dari Alquran maupun Hadis serta beberapa pendapat Ulama tentang dalil-dalil tersebut, maka penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hukum merokok bersifat kasuistis. Adakalanya dapat dikatakan haram dan adakalanya bersifat makruh tanzih.
