Buletin Psikologi focuses on contextualizing psychological concepts or phenomena within the socio-cultural setting of Indonesia through the use of non-empirical study, such as, literature review, systematic review, scoping review, and meta-analysis. It accepts articles that are based on the thorough and systematic examination of psychological constructs from the perspective of Indonesian context. The journal is open access, peer-reviewed, and published biannually. We accept and publishes articles in English and Bahasa Indonesia languages to accommodate our diverse audience in Indonesia and internationally.

Abstract

Belajar organisasional dipandang sebagai suatu kunci bagi kesuksesan organisasi di masa datang (Slater & Narver, 1995; Lukas, Hult, & Ferrel, 1996), sehingga dewasa ini proses-proses belajar organisasional sedang digali dengan giat dan penuh perhatian (Miller, 1996). Misalnya, Slater dan Narver (1995, hal.72) dalam mengakhiri kajiannya mengenai belajar organisasional menulis" We agree with the many sholars and execuitives who have expressed the sentiment that the ability to learn faster than your competitors may be the only sustainable source of competitive advantage".

Resosialisasi (resos) adalah salah satu upaya andalan pemerintah untuk merehabilitasi dan mengentaskan pelacur untuk kembali ke masyarakat. Namun demikian, upaya ini dipandang oleh jones, dkk. (1995) sebagai puncak dari sikap mendua pemerintah Indonesia terhadap praktek pelacuran.

Abstract

Sekilas tampak bahwa judul artikel ini seperti iklan sebuah obat. Jika seseorang mengalami gangguan kesehatan fisik, flu misalnya, maka bermacam-macam obat dapat dipilih karena iklan obat flu begitu gencarnya ditayangkan. Sebaliknya, jika seseorang terganggu keadaan psikisnya, misalnya sedang mengalami stres, "obat" apa yang harus "dimakan"? Informasi harus dicari terlebih dahulu untuk mengurangi stres yang dialami.

Abstract

This paper displays an analysis of several literature reviews. It aims to understand the types of leadership depicted in the characters of the “Last Samurai” movie. The dilemma of cultural, political, economic and military transition for Japan in approaching the modern era is an exciting scenario depicted in the “The Last Samurai” movie. Having leaders compete against each other in achieving their intended goals, made it easy for the audience to analyze their type of leadership. The types of leadership from old to modern Japan t hat competes with Western countries is shown in this movie, particularly regarding its’ effectiveness and relevance. The visionary leadership is represented by Omura, an advisor who influenced the Emperor in realizing the comparative and competitive value of the Japanese people, allowing them to compete with various innovations and develop along with the challenges of the era. The "Wisdom and Charismatic" leadership type was present in Katsumoto, the Samurai leader and Emperor's teacher who wanted to maint ain the noble values of Japanese culture. Katsumoto's exemplary leadership is reflected in his extraordinary devotion, heroism, character, and his firm adherence to the command given to him as a samurai. Such traits inspire awe, respect, and devotion from a group of samurai. An overview of the Visionary leadership type, "Wisdom and Charismatic" encountered in the figures of Omura and Katsumoto. Today's challenges require each member to be innovative, creative, competitive, competent, and brave enough to tak e risk. In achieving that vision, leaders with charismatic soul are needed
