Abstract

This study aims to describe and describe errors in the use of capital letters and punctuation for grade 2 students at SDN Karawaci 1 Tangerang City. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, namely methods that involve researchers directly to observe the object being studied. The results of this study were found in 26 students in the answers to the simple sentence writing questions that had been analyzed, there was the highest capital letter writing error in the month name indicator as many as 16 students or 61.5%. Meanwhile, the highest indicator punctuation error is at the dot at the end of the sentence as many as 7 students or 26.9%. This shows that the majority of grade 2 students at SDN Karawaci 1 understand punctuation, but there are still many who do not understand the use of capital letters.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of SDIT Tiara Aksara Tangerang City as one of the superior schools, this study was conducted to know more deeply how the profile of a superior school is. This research is a quantitative research which analyzed by survey and descriptive method. Data were collected through field observations, interviews and documents related to the Tiara Aksara foundation in the form of organizational reports and personal documents as well as visual documents such as photos. Based on research on the effect of the profile of the foundation on the image of the school at SDIT Tiara Aksara Tangerang in this thesis it was concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the profile of the foundation on the image of the SDIT Tiara Aksara Tangerang school. This can be seen from the calculation of the SPSS researchers with the obtained t-count = 7.747 and t-table = 2.048, then t-count = 7.747 > t-table 2.048 at a significant level of 5%. The profile of the foundation's contribution to the school's image made by the calculation results of the SPPS correlation is 0.826 with a coefficient of determination of 0.682 which means that 68.2% of the school's image is determined by the profile of the foundation, while 31.8% is determined by other factors not analyzed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on students' learning motivation in Kp. Pasirsalam. Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Researchers used a quantitative approach with the population in this study, namely students who live in Kampung Pasirsalam and are still studying at the high school level, totaling 21 people. The sample used in this study is all the population with a total of 21 students, because it uses a saturated sampling technique as the sample. Collecting data using a questionnaire or questionnaire distributed to students who are still studying at the high school level in Kp. Pasirsalam, using simple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are obtained as follows: 1) There is a significant effect between smartphone use and learning motivation. This is evidenced by the value of sig. = 0.002 < 0.05 and F count = 7.692

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the application of problem-based learning for students in sociology class XIII social studies at SMA N 26 Tangerang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, to collect data the researcher uses question and answer media with sociology teachers (interviews) and observations, which are carried out to teachers and some students directly, in the process of interviewing research informants using unstructured interviews which questions can develop during the interview so that it becomes more flexible, and also explore several reference sources that support research by browsing relevant journals with the Based Learning (PBL) learning method. The results of this study describe that by using the problem-based learning method, students can be more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning and also discuss and present the problems studied in groups.

Abstract

Professional competence is the ability to master learning material widely and in depth, and adjusted to expertise in the field mastered as well as in their respective duties and responsibilities. Mastery of teaching materials is included with interesting learning methods, responsibility for their duties, and harmony among fellow teachers. Learning management is a process of interaction between students and teachers in the learning environment. This study aims to determine the importance of teacher professional competence in learning management, teacher professional strategies and learning evaluation at MI NW Keruak. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research subjects were school principals, teachers and students of MI NW Keruak. The results of the study show: (1) the competence of teachers in planning lessons in preparing lesson plans, compiling syllabus, planning media and learning resources and planning learning evaluations in accordance with established instructions, but there are some teaching teachers who do not make lesson plans; (2) the teacher's professional strategy in implementing learning, namely: mastering the material, structure, concept and mindset science that supports the subjects being taught. This is done by reviewing the material before continuing, adjusting the material to the media/learning resources; and (3) the evaluation of the learning provided by the teacher is in accordance with the learning objectives that have been set, which includes the value of student character, assessment of the ability to understand concepts, the value of student skills and the value of attitudes in the learning process. Evaluation is carried out at the end of one semester.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of a scientific approach to improve the activity and learning achievement of class VII.A students of SMP Negeri 11 Mataram in the Long Jump. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). In this research, cycle data is used, each cycle is carried out according to a scenario that has been created and is designed into four stages, namely: planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting, this will take place simultaneously, the sequence can be modified. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The subjects in this study were students of class VII.A SMP Negeri 11 Mataram, totaling 26 students. The data analysis technique used is the technique of student learning outcomes and student learning activity data. Based on the results of research on observation sheets and learning outcomes tests for students of class VII.A SMP Negeri 11 Mataram, it can be seen that for the first cycle the results of the Skills Test, Attitude Understanding, and Knowledge Test both male and female have not met the criteria for achieving Classical Completeness (KK). standardized 85% of the number of students with a KKM score of 75 While for the second cycle, the results of the Skills Test, Attitude Understanding, Knowledge Test for Men and Women have met the criteria for achieving classical completeness (KKM) with a standard of 85% of the number of students taking the test results belar with a value of 75. These results can be concluded that there is an increase in activity and learning achievement in the Long Jump. Class VII.A students of SMP Negeri 11 Mataram.

Abstract

This research is a pendulum experimental study in determining the acceleration of Earth's gravity and understanding the concept of simple harmonic motion. This research was conducted at the Physics Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan. This study aims to examine the benefits of conducting pendulum experiments with the simple pendulum swing method and in determining the acceleration of Earth's gravity, the period of oscillation and concepts in simple harmonic motion with variations in the mass of the pendulum, namely 150 grams, 75 grams and 35 grams. The results of the analysis of this study obtained the acceleration of Earth's gravity 9.79 m/s where the mass and length of the pendulum do not affect the value of gravity. While in simple harmonic motion in the form of pendulum oscillation is influenced by the length of the string. The pendulum oscillation will experience energy dissipation in maintaining its equilibrium position due to the gravity of the earth.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much picture card games can improve the early reading skills of children aged 5-6 years in PGRI 2 Mataram Kindergarten in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 19 students of TK PGRI 2 Mataram with 8 male students and 11 female students. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years at TK PGRI 2 Mataram can be improved using picture word cards as media. This can be proven from the results of increasing the ability to read early. In the initial conditions the average achievement was 66.67% and an increase of 11.11% so that in Cycle I it reached 77.78% and in Cycle I to Cycle II it increased by 18.71% so that in Cycle II it reached a score of 96 ,49%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of writing skills, especially writing news for class V SDN 41 Mataram in the 2018/2019 academic year. Based on preliminary observations, information was obtained that the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Indonesian, especially writing, were still very low. Based on these problems, the researcher chose to use a cooperative approach to the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model to improve the ability to write news. This study uses Classroom Action Research. From the results of the evaluation of the first cycle, the score obtained was 34.78% completeness percentage. In cycle II, a completeness value of 91.31% was obtained. Teacher activity and student activity also increased. This can be seen in teacher activity in the first cycle, the average percentage is 71.5% and in the second cycle, the average percentage is 84.6%. Student activity in cycle I averaged 68.1% and in cycle II averaged 84.1%. So it can be concluded that there was an increase in the ability to write news with the application of the STAD model cooperative approach from cycle I to cycle II of 56.53% in Indonesian subjects with classical completeness of 91.31%. It is hoped that further research will be carried out on the application of the cooperative approach to the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model in classroom settings or other schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) To find out learning activities during Mathematics learning using the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method for class VII.F students of SMP Negeri 12 Mataram. 2) To find out the increase in Mathematics learning outcomes using the SQ3R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) for class VII.F students of SMP Negeri 12 Mataram. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), using two cycles through the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. As subjects in this study were class VII.F students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 31 students, consisting of 19 male students and 12 female students. The results of this study indicate that the application of the SQ3R method in learning Mathematics at the initial condition was 64.52 with an average of 73.23 and in the first cycle of students' classical learning mastery of 77.342% with an average value of 76.90. In cycle II, students' classical learning completeness was 93.55% with an average score of 80.48. Thus the SQ3R method in learning mathematics can effectively improve understanding of class VII.F student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 12 Mataram in mathematics. Student activity in learning with the SQ3R method in learning Mathematics in cycle I obtained a score of 65 with a score of 26 in the good category. In the question, recite activities, presenting the results of group study and concluding that the learning outcomes are included in the sufficient category, while the activity of answering questions through group discussions is still in the less category. The deficiencies that existed in cycle I were corrected in cycle II. Acquisition of student activity scores in cycle II increased to 33 in the very good category, with a value of 82.50. In cycle II students can carry out SQ3R activities in learning Mathematics well. Teacher activity in learning Mathematics with the SQ3R method in cycle I was 68.57% (good enough category) and experienced an increase in cycle II of 85.71% (very good category).
