Abstract

This study analyzes Typhoid Fever incidence at General Hospital Takum from 2012 to 2021 using ARIMA model. The initial data was non-stationary, necessitating differencing to achieve stationarity. The ARIMA (4,1,1) model, selected based on AIC, AICC, and BIC criteria, showed parameters within stationarity and invertibility constraints. Diagnostic tests validated the model's robustness, with Box-Ljung (Chi-Square = 6.7435, p = 0.7598), Shapiro-Wilk (W = 0.9754, p = 0.1213), and ARCH-LM (Chi-Square = 5.8762, p = 0.8176) results supporting its adequacy. Forecasts for the next 24 months indicate a significant upward trend in Typhoid Fever cases. The study recommends among others a regular update to the model with new data to ensure accuracy, consideration of additional variables that may influence Typhoid Fever trends, and implementation of targeted public health interventions based on forecasted trends to mitigate the rising incidence.

Abstract

There are significant differences in the implementation of the independent curriculum between urban and rural areas, especially in 3T areas. These differences start with teacher performance and extend to all aspects of education, including learning administration, teaching methods, and the way teachers assess, especially based on student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to determine the use of live worksheets as E-LKPD in improving PAI learning outcomes at the elementary school level. This exploration uses a quantitative methodology with a pre-experimental configuration using a One Gathering Pretest-Posttest design. Based on the results of data analysis and questionnaires, the average student response to the use of live worksheets as E-LKPD in improving PAI learning outcomes was 79% in the practical category. Apart from that, the Paired Sample T-Test shows differences in PAI subjects before and after using E-LKPD, with an average score of 64.63 percent which is in the quite effective category and the significance level is below 0.05 or 0.001.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Contribution of Parental Expectations to the Tendency of Academic Stress of Class XII State High School Students in Padang City. Data were collected with the Parental Expectations Scale and Academic Stress from 259 samples. Sample selection using propotional random sampling technique. Data analysis used is simple linear regression analysis. With the results of p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a Contribution of Parental Expectations to Academic Stress of Class XII High School Students in Padang City. The coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.068, this shows that parental expectations have a contribution of 6.8% to academic stress. The constant value obtained is 49.831. it can be interpreted that if parental expectations are worth 0 (constant), then academic stress is worth 49.733. The regression coefficient value of the parental expectations variable is positive (+) of 0.297, it means that, if parental expectations increase, academic stress will increase, and vice versa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the implementation of the calligraphy extracurricular activity at MI Khurriyatul Fikri Pasuruhan Lor Kudus. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research approach, and, in line with the object of study, it is a field research. The focus is on the application of spiritual and tafakkur methods in the learning process. The subjects of the research are the students participating in the calligraphy extracurricular activity and the guiding teachers involved in the program. The first step in this research is to identify the role of spiritual and tafakkur methods in the calligraphy learning process. Subsequently, field observations are conducted to directly observe the implementation of these methods, along with interviews with teachers and students to explore their perceptions of the impact of the spiritual and tafakkur methods on the creative process and character development of the students. The data collected is analyzed descriptively, focusing on the impact of both methods on students' visual-spatial intelligence, emotional intelligence, and religious character development. The research results indicate that the spiritual method applied in the calligraphy extracurricular activity helps students to perceive each artwork as a form of worship and an expression of love for Islamic teachings. Meanwhile, the tafakkur method encourages students to think deeply and reflectively, so they not only focus on the aesthetics of the artwork but also understand the religious and philosophical values embedded within. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of spiritual and tafakkur methods in the calligraphy extracurricular activity has a positive impact on the development of students' religious character, emotional intelligence, and reflective abilities. Furthermore, this method also proves to enhance students' visual-spatial intelligence, in line with the basic principles of calligraphy art, which demand precision and deep contemplation. This study recommends that similar approaches be more widely implemented in other Islamic educational institutions to integrate art education with the spiritual development of students.

Abstract

Dating violence is a form of abuse in a relationship that can have harmful physical and psychological impacts on one partner. Gender inequality due to patriarchal culture, along with the sense of attachment that often develops in women, makes them more vulnerable to becoming victims of dating violence. Self-compassion, which focuses on being kind to yourself and accepting pain as part of the human experience, can be used as a mechanism to help people cope with the traumatic experiences caused by dating violence. This study aims to describe self-compassion in women who have experienced dating violence using a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, and purposive sampling was used to select 5 female participants, all of whom were college students who had experienced dating violence. Data analysis was carried out using a coding technique to identify the main themes related to the participants' self-compassion after experiencing dating violence. The findings showed that 2 out of 5 participants exhibited positive self-compassion. This was shown in their ability to recover after experiencing dating violence, where they could show care and concern for themselves during the difficult post-breakup phase while also giving themselves the necessary positive affirmations. Furthermore, the participants initiated productive activities to improve their self-worth and confidence. This positive self-compassion played an important role in facilitating the psychological and emotional recovery from the inner wounds caused by the abusive relationship.

The purposive targeted populations for the study were licensed and unlicensed small scale gold mining operators in the study areas, with a sample population of 100 person, and types of data used is both primary and secondary sources. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistic and frequency chart that indicated major challenges was illiteracy 31% and lack of coordination among miners 23%, major effect of land degradation was water pollution and deforestation had 30% and 23% respectively, and effects of artisanal mining on land degradation was degradation of arable land had 20% and exposing the soil to wind and chemical had 18%. It had a serious implication on ecosystem. The paper concluded that artisanal mining of mineral ores had caused serious damages on the land resources both soil and rivers. Therefore, to ensure sustainability in mining activities and to secure a quality environment, the following recommendations are hereby suggested, Educating local miners on the dangers of open cast mining and grinding of gold ore using the same grinder for grains to be consumed and Policy makers should avoid politicizing vital issues that will threaten peace and security of people in Zamfara and its environs.
