Abstract

Iron (Fe) levels in wells that exceed quality standards can cause the water to turn yellow, deposition on the pipe walls, bacterial growth, change in the taste of the water, and turbidity. One way to deal with excessive levels of iron (Fe) in water is aeration. This study aims to determine variations in the length of aeration time on iron (Fe) content in well-healthy Sumber Village, Simo District, Boyolali Regency. This research is a post-only design. The population of this study was all healthy in the houses of residents in Simo Village, Simo District, and Boyolali Regency. The sample is resident well water with a characteristic fishy smell, turbidity, and a yellowish color. Sampling with a quota sampling of 240 liters was taken in the morning before residents used the well. Statistical analysis using the ANOVA test yielded p0.000 <p0.05, so there was a significant effect between the length of aeration time and the healthy water's iron (Fe) content. Follow-up tests used the Tukey HSD test to determine the most effective time for reducing iron (Fe) levels, with the highest mean difference of 0.40833 in the treatment with 9 minutes of aeration time. The results showed that the most effective aeration time to reduce iron (Fe) content to 0.78 mg/l was 9 minutes. This study concluded that the aeration process c to reduces high levels of iron (Fe) in wells.

Abstract

In the implementation of this KKN activity, there is a work program regarding the repair of solar panels at one of the tourist attractions, namely Telaga Dringo. Starting because there is no nearby electricity source from PLN that can facilitate electricity needs at the Telaga Dringo tourist spot, so solar panels were built with the aim of getting lighting at tourist attractions because considering that solar panels are tools that can convert sunlight energy into electrical energy. The problem that is currently happening in Telaga Dringo tourism is that solar panels are not running according to their function, namely converting the intensity of sunlight into electrical energy for lighting at the tourist spot. Based on the problems faced, this activity aims to extend the life of solar panels by repairing damaged solar panels, solar panels can be repaired and maximized again, increasing the efficiency of solar panel performance so that they can produce more energy, and as a renewable source of electricity at Telaga Dringo Tourism Site. The method used in this research is by conducting direct monitoring to the Telaga Dringo tourist spot by conducting initial monitoring of the location, consulting the condition of solar panels, maintaining solar panels, installing Solar Charge Controller (SCC) tools, and changing the installation network at Telaga Dringo Tourism. Abstract

The University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta community service team has carried out a series of service activities through the Community Service Program for the Application of Appropriate Technology (P2TTG) in collaboration with CV Berkah Alam as a service partner. This service aims to transfer technology in the processing of worm raw materials and standardization of their content to improve product quality. This service program will be carried out starting December 2021 for six months. The team carried out a series of studies related to earthworm processing and standardization of protein content then developed and applied it to improve production efficiency and product quality. Research and development carried out includes optimization of protein extraction from worm capsule samples, related to the optimum time and temperature to obtain the highest protein content. Furthermore, validate the protein analysis method in the worm capsule sample to ensure that the analysis method used is valid, accurate and presice to measure the protein content in the sample. Furthermore, training on efficient processing of worm raw materials to obtain maximum protein content and standardization of the production process.

Abstract

Organizations must continually make changes in order to face various challenges whose form, type and intensity have never occurred before. In this case, organizational change is a business demand that companies must implement when they want to improve their company's performance. The aim of this research is: Developing a model for developing organizational change strategies in the furniture industry in Trangsan Gatak Sukoharjo. The research results concluded that the strategy development model for the Trungsan Gatak Sukoharjo furniture industry includes: (1) Production Strategy by utilizing knowledge (science) and technology, implementing new unique designs and styles of furniture, and conducting research so that products do not become outdated. (2) Marketing Strategy by increasing overseas marketing reach, furniture selling price policies, expanding the network of agents and distributors abroad. (3) Financial strategy by entering into partnerships with state-owned companies, banking and sharia banking to increase industrial capital as well as increasing partnerships with the government to develop the revitalization area for the Trungsan furniture village. (4) HR strategy by means of: IT training. IT Training. training on furniture product creation and recruitment of accounting personnel.

Abstract

Clove oil is one of the essential oils from the clove tree (syzygium aromaticum) which is abundant in Indonesia. Essential oil can be made from the leaves and handles of deciduous cloves. The composition of the oil produced varies depending on the state of the leaves and the method of distillation. The quality of essential oil is largely determined by the properties and chemical compounds contained therein. This study uses the steam distillation method to extract oil from clove leaves and clove handles. Clove leaves are dried according to variations in drying time. The variation of drying time used is 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days. Clove leaves were chopped until slightly fine and then weighed as much as 2000 grams. While the study distilled 2000 grams of clove handle into a distillation kettle with a variety of feeds, namely 2 mesh and 8 mesh. This study aims to determine the optimization of the length of leaf drying time used, the effect of distillation process time, and the most optimal yield that can be produced, density analysis and refractive index analysis. The results of this study are expected to provide more knowledge related to clove leaf oil production.

Abstract

Tourism destinations in Magetan Regency are one of the superior products in generating local revenue, but are not yet supported by pure, dynamic websig technology to increase the attractiveness of existing tourist destinations. This research aims to compile a database for tourism applications using a web-based Geographic Information System by analyzing the usability test results of tourist applications, so that they can become web-based tourism applications for the community. The method used in this research is the quantitative waterfall method to build a web-based tourism application. The database used in the Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application uses 3 databases, namely PostGIS, Geoserver and phpMyAdmin. The Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application interface was created using PHP programming supported by JS, HTLM, Leaflet and CSS. The results of the calculation of the usability test data for the Magetan Kumandang webgis tourism application produced a feasibility percentage value of 75.6% or included in the "Satisfactory" classification. From the results of the usability test, it is hoped that the Magetan Kumandang web-based tourism application will become a recommendation for the local government of Magetan Regency to provide a tourist webgis to promote tourism objects. must be short, interesting, simple, and easy to understand without reading the entire article. Abstract

This study seeks to determine how the Blue Economy is implemented in using organic waste as an alternative feed ingredient and what Islamic law has to say about managing organic waste as an alternative feed ingredient. Using a deductive case study methodology, the qualitative research method employs a case study approach. The data sources consisted of primary data obtained from direct interviews with the cultivator's head and secondary data obtained from journal references. According to the findings of this study, the Blue economy can be implemented by utilizing organic waste as an alternative feed ingredient for catfish in the following ways: 1). Community outreach regarding activities, 2). The community separates its trash, and officers collect it from the residents' homes, 3). Waste will be provided for consumption by larvae, 4). In addition to pellet feed, Maggots will be fed to catfish as an alternative food source. This activity has the potential to reduce environmental pollution and produce no waste. Maggots can save money on pellet purchases and have promising prospects as an alternative feed that reduces waste accumulation. Using alternative fish feed ingredients with Maggot does not violate Islamic law and does not affect the halal status of the fish fed the alternative elements.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze mitigation efforts in handling flood disasters in Comal District for disaster preparedness. The method used to determine the location of disaster posts uses Buffer Proximity Analysis with ArcGIS 10.8 software. The research results were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The data used in this research is secondary data. Secondary data was obtained through documents held by agencies related to the flood disaster. Efforts that need to be made when floods occur every year, disaster mitigation is necessary so that survivors know evacuation locations if a disaster occurs. From these results it is known that the number of accessible disaster posts obtained was 19 locations consisting of places of worship and educational facilities that were not affected by areas prone to flooding.

Abstract

Air quality in Jakarta has become a major concern in recent decades, given its serious impact on public health and the environment. This article describes the air conditions in Jakarta, the mitigation efforts that have been made, and their relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). High air pollution, especially from motor vehicle and industrial emissions, has caused an increase in concentrations of PM 2.5 particles and toxic gases such as NO2 and S02. The negative impact on public health, including respiratory disease and heart disease, is increasingly worrying. Efforts to address air quality in Jakarta have been carried out through various initiatives. The local government has tightened vehicle emission regulations, intensified the use of environmentally friendly transportation, and promoted sustainable mobility. Apart from that, greening measures and improving the waste management system are also being taken to reduce air pollution from industry. The relevance of efforts to address air quality in Jakarta with the SDGs is very important. This is related to SDGs number 3, which targets good health and prosperity for all. By reducing air pollution, Jakarta contributes to improving public health. Overall, air quality in Jakarta is an urgent issue and requires further action. The handling efforts that have been made, although positive breakthroughs, need to continue to be improved to achieve the broader SDGs goal, creating healthier and more sustainable cities for future generations.

Abstract

Empowering the use of the home environment as an Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the Wonosari Village Community, Gondangrejo District is an alternative in the form of a solution that is the basis for the method of implementing community service used in this activity. This community service is Assistance in the Empowerment of Education, Economy, and Socio-Culture as the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the People of Wonosari Village, Gondangrejo District. This mentoring program involves the Wonosari Village Community, Gondangrejo District. This assistance is based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the use of the home environment, there are various stages in the mentoring process, including providing assistance, organizing open classes, and reflection. The results of assistance in the use of the home environment, namely (a) plant cultivation by aquaponics with indicators of community achievement can follow and understand plant cultivation activities by aquaponics; (b) plant cultivation by hydroponics with indicators of community achievement can follow and understand plant cultivation activities by hydroponics; (c) cultivation of plants by cuttings with indicators of achievement of children can follow and understand plant cultivation activities by cuttings; (d) Plant cultivation by grafting with achievement indicators Children can follow and understand plant cultivation activities by grafting.
