Abstract

In knowing how efficient the use of the Star Delta circuit is, the need for a circuit on a 3 Phase motor and how to apply the circuit to a 3 Phase water pump motor. The research was conducted at Gorontalo Djalaluddin Airport which is located in Isimu Sel, Tolotio, Tibawa District, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo, Indonesia. The research was carried out using data collection methods. An example of the application of a star delta circuit to a water pump motor. An electric motor is included in the category of dynamic electric machines and is an electromagnetic device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. Electric motors in the industrial world are often referred to as the industrial "work horse" because it is estimated that in an industry the average electricity consumption for electric motors is around 65-70% of the total electrical load in the industry. Three-phase electric motors have initial current characteristics that are 5 to 7 times the nominal current of the electric motor itself, but can be overcome by a star (Y) - triangle (Δ) starting system. The aim of this study was to examine how the triangular (Δ) star (Y) starting system works for 3 phase induction motors. The methods used include literature studies, collection of tools and materials, design, tool testing and data collection. From the results of testing the triangular (Y) star starting system (Δ) effectively suppresses the high starting current of the electric motor operation with the value of the measurement results of electric current using a star connection (Y) in the R phase of 0.6 A, the S phase of 0.8 A and the T phase of 0.6 A. And using a triangular relationship (Δ) in the R phase of 7.5 A, the S phase of 8.5 A and the T phase of 8.3 A.

The research method used is quantitative research. The data used is primary data such as drone imagery. The results of this research produced seven types of mangroves and factors the distribution of mangrove types. The types of mangroves found were Rizhophora apiculate, Oncomsperma tigillarium, Ceriops tagal, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Acrostichum aureum linn, Sonneratia alba. Meanwhile, there are three factors that influence the distribution of mangroves, namely Substrate, Salinity and Soil Texture. The dominant substrates are muddy and sandy substrates, the lowest salinity is 12ppt and the highest is 30ppt, while the dominant soil textures are clay, clay and sandy.

Abstract

Land is an important part of human life because it is where all human activities and lives take place. Many factors, including living things, hydrology, soil and climate, affect land. This study aims to evaluate the suitability and production of corn crops in Lubuk Alung Sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach by using the scoring method to analyze the suitability of land for corn crops in Lubuk Alung Sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency. The results of the research are known without using land units as a reference for the assessment of the distribution of land suitability classes for corn crops in the highly suitable class (S1) 1,110.34 ha, suitable class (S2) 11,092.62 ha, marginally suitable class (S3) 2,593.24 ha, and unsuitable class (N) 433.63 ha. While using the land unit as a reference for assessing the distribution of land suitability classes for corn crops in the highly suitable class (S1) 827.01 ha, suitable class (S2) 5,047.73 ha, marginally suitable class (S3) 1,598.06 ha, and unsuitable class (N) 7,757.04 ha. From the estimation of production yield calculation, it is known that on land with a very suitable suitability class (S1) the production yield reaches 19,753.7 kg/ha, suitable class (S2) the production yield reaches 16,833.6 kg/ha, marginal suitable class (S3) the production yield reaches 14,892.5 kg/ha, and unsuitable class (N) the production yield reaches 14,146.3 kg/ha.

Abstract

Solar panels are renewable energy which is very useful for agricultural needs to meet electricity needs, one of which is its application in agriculture, namely as a pump driver for hydroponic plants. Hydroponics is farming with an emphasis on meeting the nutritional needs of plants using water as a medium with a nutrient solution as fertilizer. In the hydroponic system the pump must be on continuously, for this reason the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) tool is used to substitute the electrical energy of the State Electricity Company (PLN) with the electrical energy of solar panels in the event of a power outage from the State Electricity Company (PLN) which aims to drain nutrient water. This research aims to apply solar panels to a hydroponic plant system and apply the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) tool as a substitute for the State Electric Company's (PLN) electrical energy and solar panels. This research was carried out on Jalan Polonia no.11 fresh water east, North Padang District, Padang City, West Sumatra in January – March 2024, with the initial stages (1) preparation, (2) solar panel assembly, (3) analysis of test results , (4) preparation of reports. The results of this research can determine the power output required by solar panels as a renewable energy source as well as the application of the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) in hydroponic plant cultivation.

Abstract

Quality control is an essential approach that should be implemented from the pre-production stage throughout the production process until the final product is produced. This study aims to identify the prevailing form of deficiency, investigate the underlying causes of the defect, and propose suggestions for enhancement. Takoa Riski Tahu is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in North Tidar, South Magelang, Magelang City. This particular enterprise specializes in the production of white tofu. Takoa Riski Tofu can manufacture 16390 units of tofu in one month. This study uses the seven tools technique to ascertain the prevailing categories of flaws and the underlying factors responsible for their occurrence. According to studies, it is established that there are three distinct categories of defects: appearance, size, and filth. Appearance faults have the highest prevalence, accounting for 39.7% of all defects. Size problems are the second most common, making up 33.5% of defects, while filth defects are the least prevalent, comprising 26.7%. The factors contributing to defects include human error, machinery malfunction, subpar materials, inefficient processes, and unfavourable environmental conditions.
