Abstract

ABSTRAKTingkat kenyamanan pejalan kaki dapat di ukur dengan menggunakan beberapa parameter kenyamanan antara lain, iklim mikro (terik sinar matahari), sirkulasi antar pejalan kaki, kebisingan kendaraan, aroma sekitar, bentuk fasilitas, keamanan, kebersihan, keindahan, aksesibilitas, dan fasilitas pelengkap. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari dengan lokasi dari gerbang utama Universitas Halu Oleo (depan Fakultas Teknik) sampai di depan Fakultas Pertanian dan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan pejalan kaki terhadap fasilitas pedestrian di Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari.Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan metode membagikan kuesioner kepada responden sebagai tanggapan terhadap fasiltas pedestrian di Universitas Halu Oleo. Untuk jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian untuk penilaian kenyamanan pejalan kaki pada fasilitas pedestrian di Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari bahwa dari 10 (sepuluh) indikator kenyamanan pejalan kaki ada 7 (tujuh) indikator yang masuk dalam kriteria cukup nyaman diantaranya adalah keamanan dari kendaraan bermotor dengan skor 212 atau 62,35%, keindahan pemandangan dengan skor 209 atau 61,47%,  aksesibilitas dengan skor 205 atau 60,29%, Sirkulasi pejalan kaki dan kendaraan bermotor dengan skor 204 atau 60%,  kebersihan lingkungan dengan skor 197 atau 57,94%, iklim mikro (terik sinar matahari) dengan skor 182 atau 53,53 % dan bentuk atau kondisi geometri dengan skor 178 atau 52,35%. Dan tiga indikator lainya masuk dalam kriteria tidak nyaman diantaranya adalah fasilitas pelengkap dengan skor 157 atau 46,18%, kebisingan berada pada skor 151 atau 44,41% dan aroma bau dengan skor 133 atau 39,12%.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara tropis sehingga banyak tanaman yang mudah tumbuh, termasuk tanaman yang memiliki khasiat sebagai obat. Bagian dari tanaman baik daunnya maupun buahnya, rata-rata dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai tanaman obat. Namun hanya sebagian kecil masyarakat yang memahami dan mengetahui tanaman yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat herbal dan yang tidak. Selain itu, masyarakat juga kurang memahami aturan pemakaian obat yang tepat. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih sedikitnya media informasi yang menyajikan tentang tanaman herbal. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi ensiklopedia penyakit dan tanaman yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi tentang tanaman herbal sehingga akan memudahkan masyarakat dalam mencari informasi yang berkaitan dengan tanaman herbal serta fungsi dari tanaman tersebut. Pengembangan aplikasi ini dilakukan dengan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dan pendekatan Waterfall serta diuji dengan metode Whitebox, Blackbox dan User Acceptance Test (UAT). Hasil pengujian menyatakan, bahwa aplikasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media informasi yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mencari dan menampilkan informasi tentang tanaman herbal dan manfaatnya. Selain itu, aplikasi ini dapat diakses  melalui Android.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum as a complement to the previous curriculum has been running for almost seven years in education in Indonesia. The view of most teacher still does not heed the system according to the assessment in the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) guidebook. Teachers still think that the assessment is only on cognitive assessment, especially in history subjects. This study aims to describe the Implementation of learning Assessment in the 2013 Curriculum for History Subjects in Class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin. This study also use qualitative methods in obtaining information starting from interviews, documentation, and observations collected as a source of research. There are two sources of research used in research, namely primary sources and secondary sources. The result pf this study before conducting classroom assessment, the teacher made a lesson plan (RPP). The implementation of the assessment carried out by the teacher is different from that in the lesson plans and in the implementation in the classroom. When implementing it in the classroom the teacher only uses two attitude assessment and skills assessment. The teacher’s obstacle in implementing this assessment it the number of students who are assessed in one class, as well as the view of teacher who still thinks that the assessment is only on results of students, not on the process of how students achieve it.

Abstract

The author's concern about numerous cases involving adolescents in the surrounding environment serves as a reference for guiding the implementation of character education in high school or equivalent level education units. This consideration is crucial as part of an effort to prepare future generations, ensuring that students play a positive role in the future. The study seeks to identify and describe the character education values present in the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila book, and its utilization as teaching materials on class x negotiation text material in High School. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with the primary variable being the content of the project book strengthening the student profile of Pancasila. The instruments employed in this research include both main and additional tools. The primary instrument is the researcher, while documentation guidelines and questionnaires serve as additional instruments. The research findings reveal the implementation of 17 character education values in the P5 book by Fera Atmawati. Subsequently, these findings are utilized as alternative teaching materials in the form of negotiation text modules for grade X students. The preparation of teaching modules undergoes validation by three experts, resulting in materials deemed effective and suitable for use. The teaching materials derived from this study contribute as an addition to the references for the few independent curriculum-based teaching modules currently needed by educators.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of Instagram social media to enhance poetry writing skills among Class X students at SMK YAPIN Kertasemaya during the academic year 2022/2023. The study, focusing on 14 students in the ASKEP class, addresses the identified deficiency in poetry writing proficiency within the school. The research aims to answer two key questions: 1) How does the application of Instagram social media impact learning in poetry writing? 2) What is the effect of Instagram social media on the improvement of learning outcomes in poetry writing? The research employs a classroom action research methodology, with 14 Class X students as subjects. Data collection involves observations and tests conducted in two cycles. The findings reveal a notable enhancement in the process of learning poetry writing skills. In Cycle I, the average test score was 70, and it increased to 73 in Cycle II, indicating a positive progression. Consequently, the research concludes that the implementation of Instagram as a learning tool effectively improves poetry writing skills among Class X ASKEP students at SMK YAPIN Kertasemaya, influencing positive behavioral changes in the students' approach to writing poetry.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the language styles present in Andrea Hirata's novel "Orang-Orang Biasa" and ascertain its applicability as teaching material for historical story texts in Indonesian language learning. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the research analyzes the novel to discern the form and meaning of language styles within it. The data source is the novel itself, and data collection involves library research, reading techniques, and note-taking. The note technique records the analysis results of the novel. The research unfolds in three stages: planning, implementation, and data reporting. The novel exhibits various language styles, categorized as: 1) comparison styles, encompassing simile, personification, metaphor, pleonasm, periphrasis, antithesis, prolepsis; 2) opposition styles, including hyperbole, irony, litotes, oxymoron, zeugma, innuendo, satire, paradox, climax, anticlimax, hypocrisy, cynicism, and sarcasm; 3) linking styles, consisting of metonymy, synecdoche, euphemism, allusion, eponymy, epithet, antonomasia, ellipsis, asyndeton, and polysyndeton; and 4) repetition styles, such as alliteration, assonance, chiasmus, epizeuxis, anaphora, epistrophe, mesodiplosis, epanalepsis, and anadiplosis. These language styles contribute to the novel's aesthetic appeal, imparting an artistic and dramatic essence. The findings are applicable to Indonesian language learning in SMA class XII semester 2, particularly in historical story text materials covering language styles within basic competency 3.4 (analyzing the language of historical stories or novels) and basic competency 4.4 (writing personal historical stories with attention to language). The teaching materials developed for this study utilize a modular approach.

Abstract

Literary works are an experience that can be learned from and provide lessons for reflection to readers. The novel is a type of fictional literary work that cannot be missed, which is currently developing rapidly in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. This research will analyze the character values found in the main characters in the novel Re: dan peREmpuan by Maman Suherman. This research is very interesting because through studying literature, new learning and thinking can be gained. Researchers found 74 data showing the character values of the main characters in the novel Re: dan peREmpuan by Maman Suherman. The eighteenth character values according to the Ministry of Education and Culture in the main character Rere by Maman Suherman, first religious, found 5 quotes, second curiosity found 6 quotes, third honest, found 6 quotes, fourth independent found 2 quotes, fifth friendly found 5 quotes, sixth caring environment found 2 quotes, seventh tolerance found 4 quotes, eighth discipline found 3 quotes, ninth creative thinking found 4 quotes, tenth responsibility found 6 quotes, eleventh social care found 3 quotes, twelfth democratic found 5 quotes, thirteenth hard work found 4 quotes, the fourteenth found 4 quotes about national spirit, the fifteenth likes reading 3 quotes were found, the sixteenth appreciated achievements found 4 quotes, the seventeenth love of the homeland found 3 quotes and the eighteenth love of peace found 5 quotes in the novel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning to write poetry using short film media Kinetik by Putri Tanjung in class X SMK PUI Gegesik. This type of research is Experimental Research using Quasi experimental design. The population in this study was class X SMK PUI Gegesik. The sample in this study were students of class X DKV 1 as an experimental class consisting of 32 students and class X DKV 3 as a control class consisting of 32 students. Data collected by written test technique, namely pre-test and post-test. It was shown that media of kinetic short film is used effectively in learning to write free poetry because of the significant difference between the control class and the experimental class; namely, learners who used Kinetic short film media with those who did not use it. It can be seen based on the t-test results of the Pre-test and post-test scores in the control class and experimental class conducted with the help of the SPSS program. The result of statistical calculation using t test of two independent samples (independent sample t test). The obtained statistic is 4.075, with t table: 1.670. Thus, t statistic > t table (4.075 > 1.670).

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the cooperative script method in improving the ability of class VII students at Uswatun Hasanah Middle School to write formal letters. The research involved 15 students from the control class (VII A) and 16 students from the experimental class (VII B). Motivated by the observed challenges in analyzing official letter structures and linguistic conventions, the research aimed to address two key questions: 1) Is the cooperative script method effective for teaching formal letter writing to class VII students at Uswatun Hasanah Middle School?; and 2) What is the learning activity like when using the cooperative script method for writing formal letters in class VII at Uswatun Hasanah Middle School? Employing an experimental study design, data were collected through observations and pretest-posttest assessments. Statistical analysis indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group's performance (tcount = 2.960), supporting the conclusion that the cooperative script method effectively enhances formal letter writing skills among class VII students at Uswatun Hasanah Middle School.
