<![CDATA[Sebalik village is a village located in a water area with the potential to raise laying ducks. In fact, selling duck eggs has quite a high potential for interest because they have a lot of nutrition and fresh duck eggs are rarely found in many places, unlike chicken eggs. On the other hand, for egg-laying duck breeders, marketing and distribution of duck eggs is still an obstacle in egg-laying duck farming because if they are not sold, egg-laying duck breeders cannot generate additional income to support the family economy. From the results of the interviewed it was discovered that laying duck breeders did not know about marketing management as evidenced by the lack of knowledge regarding brands, sales distribution channels and other management functions in marketing. For this reason, marketing management training is carried out. The training was held for one day with 30 participants. From the results of this training, laying duck breeders gained knowledge regarding marketing management and continued with discussions by deepening the obstacles faced when marketing duck eggs by duck egg breeders. Pre-test and post-test were carried out. From the post test results it was found that laying duck breeders already knew and were able to explain marketing management for their duck eggs]]>

<![CDATA[Stroke is a non-communicable disease that still has the highest death rate in the world. Even though stroke is not transmitted from one sufferer to another through contact, prevention must still be improved. Lifestyle and socioeconomics are thought to be one of the biggest factors that cause strokes. This activity aims to prevent and manage stroke by increasing knowledge in detecting signs and symptoms of stroke, preventing recurrent strokes and changing lifestyle modification behavior. Community service activity methods include health education, health checks to identify risk factors for hypertension/stroke, empowering families to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, controlling stroke risk factors and lifestyle modification. The results of the activity showed that the majority of respondents had had one stroke (60%), the majority of families had sufficient knowledge (60%) about preventing recurrent strokes, the majority of respondents had a low risk (50%). Increased knowledge of patients and families in detecting signs of preventing stroke risk factors is targeted at changing behavior and improving healthy lifestyles to prevent recurrent strokes.]]>

<![CDATA[Reciting the Qur’an is the activity of reading the Al-Qur’an, which has been one of the main forms of worship since the beginning of the development of Islam in the archipelago. Maghrib recitation is one of the programs to cultivate reading the Al-Qur’an after carrying out the evening prayer for children in Batu Tambun Village. This is also in accordance with the Real Work Lecture work program from group 43, namely Maghrib reciting the Al-Qur’an. The culture of reading the Qur’an has recently disappeared in Batu Tambun Village. One of the causes is the influence of the very rapid development of information technology. Children are more interested in watching television and using cellphones than reading the Al-Qur’an. This activity carried out by STAIN MADINA Community Service Students group 43 is to increase or regrow interest in reading the Qur'an after the evening prayer for children. <![CDATA[Adolescence is a challenging period because it involves the transition from childhood to adulthood. Physical and psychological changes in adolescents can have an impact on their mental health. To prevent mental disorders in teenagers, various prevention efforts continue to be carried out, including providing education about mental health in teenagers, but at Bawakaraeng High School they have never received education about the importance of recognizing mental disorders in teenagers. The aim of this community service is to provide mental health information including efforts to prevent mental disorders in teenagers with thought stopping and five finger hypnosis. Community service was carried out at Bawakaraeng High School, November 16 2020 with a total of 60 students participating. The results of this service activity showed an increase in knowledge about mental health in adolescents, namely from 16,67% to 83,33% in the good category and participants were able to carry out stress management with mental health and five finger hypnosis.. Adolescent mental health education can provide increased knowledge about adolescent mental health and stress management that can be carried out by adolescents.]]>

<![CDATA[Hypertension is nicknamed the silent killer because it is a disease without symptoms. This refers to a condition where blood pressure increases beyond normal limits, namely systolic pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic pressure <90 mmHg. Educational activities and detection of hypertension symptoms were carried out because the incidence rate was still high in the Maccini Sawah Health Center Working Area. This service is carried out with the target of people aged ≥ 40 years so that they can maintain a healthy lifestyle and have the knowledge, attitudes and skills to implement the principles of healthy living for every community. The aim of this service is to increase public awareness, understanding of prevention, lifestyle changes and increased participation in health decisions. The method for implementing this community service is education and blood pressure checks carried out simultaneously. There were 23 people who took part in this activity. The activity ran smoothly and well where the people who had been invited to take part in the education and detection of hypertension symptoms had followed it to completion with a total of 20 families participating. There are still many people who do not have their health checked at the health center. The community health center needs to carry out a door to door visit program to increase the coverage of the P2M program and reduce morbidity due to non-communicable diseases, especially hypertension.]]>

<![CDATA[The lack of appropriate and relevant information about HIV/AIDS, and supported by the curious attitude of teenagers, causes them to become one of the populations with high-risk behavior. Prevention of HIV/AIDS needs to be maintained by teenagers or high school students so that it does not have a comprehensive impact on the health of teenagers, which of course is detrimental to the current generation. The solution that can be done is the delivery of material (education) and how to prevent HIV/AIDS for teenagers so that they do not contract this deadly disease. The form of this activity is in the form of health education from a team of nursing lecturers assisted by students with participants, namely high school teenagers who are participants in this activity as many as 44 students. During the implementation of the activity, don't forget to give quizzes and ways to prevent HIV/AIDS and everything related to HIV disease. /AIDS as part of the goal of mastering the material from participants in this PKM activity. Apart from that, an evaluation of the extent of mastery and benefits of this activity is carried out.]]>

<![CDATA[Acute Respiratory Tract Infection is an upper or lower respiratory tract disease that is usually contagious and can cause a wide spectrum of disease ranging from mild to severe and fatal infections, depending on the pathogen causing environmental factors and host factors. Transmission of acute respiratory infections is very dangerous, especially for babies and toddlers. It is necessary to reduce the incidence of transmission of acute respiratory infections as a form of prevention. Proper early recognition to detect symptoms of acute respiratory infections can be a way to prevent delays in treating the disease and prevent possible transmission. The method used is to provide counseling and training related to early detection of acute respiratory tract infections. After providing counseling to better understand the disease, one of the early detection methods chosen after recognizing the symptoms experienced is by counting the respiratory frequency. The results of implementing this community service include increasing knowledge to recognize and detect acute respiratory infections so that they can be treated immediately and appropriately.]]>

<![CDATA[The students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Menara Qur'an Baiturrohman in Cangkring Sari Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency face the problem of boredom in the teaching system. In overcoming this problem, a work program was created with the main objective of teaching reading and writing the Qur'an. The method implemented in the implementation of the work program is the ABCD method. The results of this work program show that students are able to more quickly understand the teaching process provided by the KKN team of Sunan Giri University Surabaya. The KKN team implemented teaching in the form of groups, by classifying each volume and Al-Qur'an. As a result, KKN participants can also understand how each student learns, considering that each student has a different learning process. This program succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of teaching and providing a better understanding of the students, as well as providing insight to the participants of the real work study regarding learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Menara Qur'an Baiturrohman.]]>

<![CDATA[Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities are the role of students in implementing the khataman qur'an form of community service. The Real Work Lecture (KKN) of Sunan Giri Surabaya University group nineteen was held at the Griyo Mapan Sentosa Mosque Foundation, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The Sunan Giri Surabaya University KKN team took an educational work program related to religion at the Griyo Mapan Sentosa Mosque Foundation. Religious knowledge must be fostered from a young age, activities in this religious field are carried out and will always exist in the lives of local people in the Griyo Mapan Sentosa Mosque Foundation area, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. This study uses qualitative methods and uses observation techniques and data collection by documenting activities that have been carried out. This program can be carried out well because students are able to establish good relationships with Griyo Mapan Sentosa residents and empower themselves.]]>

<![CDATA[Acute Respiratory Infection Disease (ARI) is an infectious disease that is still a health problem for children under five in Indonesia and is the highest cause of death rates for children under five. Apart from causing health problems, ARI can also cause death. This activity aims to increase the understanding of cadres and mothers of toddlers about first aid that can be given to ISPA toddlers. The target of this activity is 35 people. The activity method was carried out on May 16 2022 by giving a pre-test, lecture and followed by a post-test by filling out a questionnaire. The evaluation was carried out on cadres, mothers of toddlers by conducting a post test. The results achieved in this activity were that participants gained knowledge about first aid that participants should provide if their toddler suddenly becomes ill, by lying on their lap with the baby's face facing down. Do not restrain the child's body. Tilt the child's body position so that vomit or saliva can come out of the oral cavity, and prevent the tongue from blocking the respiratory tract. Loosen the child's clothing and do not put anything in the child's mouth to prevent tongue biting. Calculate the duration of the febrile seizure and pay attention to the child's behavior during the seizure. Tell this when you consult a doctor.]]>
