Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the operation of tower cranes in high-rise building construction. In the implementation of high-rise building projects, tower crane vertical transportation operations are very decisive as the most important means for lifting and transporting material supply on each working floor. The Holland Village Jakarta project is experiencing obstacles to the efficiency of construction completion which has not been in accordance with duration of the time schedule set. For this reason, an analysis of the optimization of tower crane operations is carried out in terms of human resource factors, material resources, method resources, and environmental conditions. And also carried out an analysis of risk management so as to achieve optimization of tower crane vertical transportation operations. The approach taken is to use risk management based on the dominant risk response analysis to make relevant strategic decisions. The configuration of 3 tower cranes is carried out by analyzing hierarchical decisions using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the selection of the best alternative configuration. The results of the hierarchy of dominant response criteria in sequence, namely: economic/cost criteria, time efficiency, ease of implementation, and criteria for transportation of architectural materials. The alternative configuration of the KTC-3 tower crane is effective as a weight value of 33.78% with a change in position configuration from the existing tower configuration. The duration of construction can be optimized by 10 days in 5.5%. Keywords: tower crane, risk response, AHP, configuration, duration

Abstract

AbstractCurrent technology advances situation is in line with electrical energy demand, but this is not in line with theavailability of resources that produce electrical energy, in order to that it requires energy conservation to increaseefficiency and optimization of a power plant so it can support increasing of electricity demand. This paper gives afeasibility analysis of heat energy conservation from geothermal power plant waste heat as the main power plant.By using the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) System with Iso-Butene as a working fluid, by calculating the heatbalance of the ORC cycle, until getting the enthalpy and entropy value of the system, thus we can be calculating theenergy can produce by the expansion turbine which drives the generator, with the result of this research is theadditional energy produce by the ORC system. Taking into account safety, health (SHE) and environmental aspectsas well as turbine design aspects, Iso-Butene was selected as a working fluid with a medium exit area value, whichaffects the size of the turbine and SHE aspects. Abstract

ABSTRACT ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the capacity of the resonance machine capacity 63 kn which has the influence of strain in analyzing the static loading stress on the coupon test. The study used a coupon test specimen with a predetermined dimension, using eight strain gauges in a vertical direction, where the response of the strain gauge system was fast enough to sense dynamic strain with a frequency greater than 100 kHz. The strain gauge used was a strain gauge for gauge bridges where the application is easy. The results obtained show that there is no strain and stress on specimens that point to numbers below -100 to 100, but this number is considered good because it does not exceed the number specified in the tolerance category the third step measurement results are used for knowing the ability to reset, relative error and machine linearity and the expected deviation value is not more than 1%. Abstract

ABSTRACT Tube reformer modified HP type (23Cr-35Ni Nb) is an important component in the fertilizer industry in the primary reformer. Tube reformer is produced in centrifugal casting method that has the hard characteristic, put up with high temperature, pressure and resistance corrosion. It is because it has a large amount of nickel (Ni) and chrome (Cr) elements so that it can hamper the corrosion. The tube reformer has been operated on for 15 years. Based on technical data modified HP tube reformer has 11,4 years of design life and one of the tubes had been burst in beneath, so it needs to decide how long the remaining life assessment of the modified HP reformer tube is. The aim of the research is in order to know how to last long the remaining life assessment of the tube reformer HP modified used, so it can plan to fix/change with a new tube. In order to support the research, it needs some tests such as metallography, hardness test, tensile test, chemical composition, and creep test. According to API 530, to measure how last the remaining life assessment of tube reformer based on creep test which is accelerated by using LMP method can get 52488,35 hours or 5,99 years. The remaining life based on microstructure damage related to the classification diagram of tube wall damage according to L May in C level (or 50 %) is 50,000 hours or 5,77 years. Abstract

ABSTRACT To overcome the floods in Jakarta, DKI Jakarta's Water Resources Service alerted 144 (one hundred forty-four) pump houses that crossed the Ciliwung River. In addition to alerting the pump houses, DKI Jakarta also prepared 133 (one hundred thirty-three) portable (mobile) pumps spread over 5 (five) administrative cities. From the information obtained it is known that in January 2018 there was damage to the 1103 Series diesel engine piston, 50 kVA Generator drive, 36 kW operating in the Jakarta flood pump. Identified factors causing failure are preceded by a high-temperature indication on the cylinder wall which causes the piston to be stuck due to a lack of cylinder block lubrication. This study will identify the factors causing damage to the diesel engine flood pump in West Jakarta, analyze the failure of the piston engine diesel flood pump, determine precautionary measures, and determines maintenance techniques to avoid the same damage to the flood pump diesel engine piston, & analyzes the maintenance management system applied to the diesel engine. This study uses qualitative research methodology with the process of testing stages: macroscopic, metallographic, chemical composition analysis, hardness, SEM (Scanning Electron Macroscopy) which is equipped with EDXS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) analysis, Schedule Oil Sampling. From the results of the discussion, it was found that the factors causing the piston diesel engine failure to the flood pump were very influential, by testing: 1) metallography obtained by the piston microstructure in the form of aluminum dendrite which indicated that the piston had local melting which resulted in local overheating; 2). viscosity (viscosity) of used oil is obtained: TBN (Total Base Number) on oil is a little low, oxidation is slightly above normal because of incomplete combustion, and there is an increase (difference) in the elements of Fe and Cu in used oil that is 9 ppm and 3 ppm, where if the Fe> content will cause damage to the Cylinder Block Liner & piston & if Cu> will cause failure to the bearing. From the results of this research, it is necessary to optimize the maintenance management system, namely: 1) implementing a Standard Operation Procedure for diesel engines (Inspection: fuel, radiator water, ACCU water, engine oil, R-S-T-N cable, ACCU cable, etc.); 2). perform predictive maintenance of diesel engine components (System maintenance: fuel flow, lubrication, air intake, and exhaust, cooling, starting system); 3). do preposterous maintenance (inspection: daily, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000 hours). Abstract

ABSTRACT Oil and gas are natural resources. The oil drilling activity is one of the process series in oil exploration and production in order that the oil well always produces those natural resources constantly per days. Because of the reason in highly complexities, the success in oil drilling and exploration are also base on the quality of the equipments. This thesis has evaluated about pin connection. This is one of a part equipment that has been used in drill string series. The documentation of SOP, FAT and design specification are plays important role for the completeness of data histories. The material of pin connection is consists from some chemical substances. So the chemical composition in this pin connection have very important role to determine the mechanical properties of this part. Abstract

ABSTRACT Student learning activities are activities or activities of students in learning in the form of activities with themselves or groups that are influenced by internal and external factors. Learning style is a way that students use to understand information so that it can be accepted easily. In learning physics, student activity is very necessary. So that learning in the classroom needs to be carried out according to the student's learning style in order to create an active learning atmosphere and students can easily understand the material presented. This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles on the activeness of learning Physics in students. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data collection technique used is interviews with informants, namely Physics subject teachers in class X. From the results of interview analysis, it is known that students of class X IPA SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi have a type of visual learning style. This is because students are more interested and faster to learn if they use video media by raising the latest issues in Physics learning. However, for student activity is low. From the results of the interviews, it is known that students are not actively involved in learning such as asking questions. The low level of student activity is caused by several factors. The use of models or learning methods that are in accordance with students' learning styles can help maximize the learning process. So that the learning process can run actively and planned and provide maximum results. Keywords: Learning activity, Learning style, Physics

ABSTRACT The research was conducted to find out where the media learning influence on student learning interest. The research population was 30 class X students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Physics is a lesson that is considered difficult for students, especially students, the development of technology can also help the development of learning media, learning interest can also determine Hassil learning students this is underlying researchers to conduct research. Where the type of research used by researchers is descriptive quantitative research with data collection methods, namely using a questionnaire survey with a number of 2 questionnaires, where the questionnaire used is related to learning interest and also the use of learning media. From the results of the questionnaire that has been distributed, the researcher conducts data analysis by conducting a regression test to find out where the use of learning media on student learning interests where the results obtained the significance value of the regression test of both data can we know that the significance value .154 Where the significance value is 0.0 Because of the SIG value> α or 0.154> 0.05, it was concluded that there was an influence between learning media to the learning interest in class X students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Abstract

Abstract The number of students using motorized vehicles which increases every year causes its own problems for a campus that has a minimal parking area, this is exacerbated by the irregular placement of vehicles which can cause damage to the vehicle, this condition can also cause other students to have difficulty finding a parking position for his vehicle. Good parking area management can help the campus to take advantage of the minimal parking area optimally, by utilizing microcontroller technology combined with QR code on student identification cards as vehicle access and website-based applications to monitor the availability of parking spaces in real time. used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) in the process of making and developing the system. With this system, besides making it easier for the campus to manage the parking area it has, it can also help students to park their vehicles properly and save the time needed to find available parking areas. Abstract

Abstract The growth of COVID-19 cases continues to increase sharply. In fact, in recent days there has been an increase in cases almost doubled from the previous day. As of March 29, 2020, as stated by the Government spokesperson for handling COVID-19, Achmad Yurianto, has reached 1286 cases, 114 died, 64 recovered. The death rate is 114 cases, which is the highest mortality rate in Southeast Asia. This study tried to predict the spread of covid-19 using Richard's Curve model from early March to the end of June 2020. The results obtained from this study peaked the spread in early May and subsided at the end of June with the results of a prediction of 15 thousand infected people.
