Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to (1) Describe the learning outcomes of students VIII C of SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta on critical thinking skills in short story writing after implementing the ICT-based Instagram Story diary writing method; (2) Describe the steps of the Instagram Story ICT-based diary writing method which is effective for improving the critical thinking skills of VIII C students in short story writing; (3) Analyzing the results of student VIII C's responses to the ICT-based Instagram Story diary writing method on short story writing skills. Data collection was carried out using observation, tests and questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results and responses of students are qualitatively quantitative while the learning steps are qualitative. The results of the research show that the application of the Instagram Story ICT-based diary writing learning method is able to improve critical thinking skills in short story writing in class VIII C students who have been tested according to the success indicators of this research. The increase in these skills can be seen from the enthusiasm of students when learning is collaborated with ICT in the form of social media Instagram, students begin to be active in the learning steps, namely (1) topic delivery stage, (2) discovery, (3) imaginative, (4) analyze, (5) reality, (6) yourself, (7) consultation stage, (8) writing assignment, (9) testing stage and (10) evaluation stage that have been carried out in this diary writing method, this improvement can also be seen from the results of short story writing skills using creativity obtained from Instagram through imagination that is linked to students' daily lives. Evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle with a score of 65, classical completeness only had a score of 9.3%, in the first cycle the students managed to get a score of 73 with classical completeness being 37.5%, in the second cycle with an average class score namely 90.5 with 100% classical completeness. With student response results of 96.8% in the very good category.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims (1) To find out how the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can increase the learning motivation of class X Office Management students. 2023/2024 Lessons at SMK N I Klungkung, (2) Knowing the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class X Office Management students Th. Lessons 2023/2024 at SMK N I Klungkung. Data collection uses observation, test and questionnaire methods. Based on the results of data processing on the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in Indonesian language learning in cycle I, the average score for student learning motivation was 77.94, which is in the medium category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average student learning motivation score was 86.06 and was included in the good category. Meanwhile, the average learning outcomes before the action were only 55 with an absorption capacity of 55%. Furthermore, in cycle I the average score of learning outcomes obtained was 70.9 with an absorption capacity of 70.9%. Meanwhile, in cycle II the average score for learning outcomes obtained was 80.00 with an absorption capacity of 80.00%. Classical learning completeness in the initial reflection was 58.3%. Cycle I was 68.6%. Furthermore, in cycle II it was 91.4%. These data show that there has been a significant increase in student motivation and learning outcomes, between pre-action, cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying PjBL (Project based Learning) to the material of intrinsic elements of drama. This research is a type of classroom action research (PTK). This research consists of two cycles where there are three meetings in each cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI PH 5 SMK Negeri 1 Nusa Penida with a total of 20 students. Data sources were obtained from teachers and students through observation and evaluation tests. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes as indicated by the increasing number of students who reached KKM (complete) from pre-action to cycle II. Pre-action learning completeness was 40%, cycle I 55.00%, and cycle II 100.00%. In addition, it is also supported by an increase in student learning abilities. This class action research with the PjBL model can be said to be successful and effective in applying to Indonesian language learning on the material of intrinsic elements of drama because it can achieve the predetermined success indicators, namely more than 75% of students' scores reach the KKM. Based on the findings of the research results, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in class XI PH 5 can improve after using the project based learning model.

Abstract

The aims of this research include three things: (1) the function of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, (2) the form of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, and (3) factors that influence pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in directive speech. teacher and student. The subjects of this research consisted of a teacher and students learning Indonesian in class XI.1. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, recording and interview methods. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that (1) the function of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teachers' and students' directive speech is requertives (asking and requesting), permissive (giving permission, granting and permitting), advice (suggesting, warning, advising, encouraging, and measuring), requirements (event), question (ask), and prohibition (forbid). (2) forms of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in imperative, interrogative and declarative teacher and student directive speech. (3) factors that influence pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, the social distance factor between the speaker and the interlocutor (the speaker has a higher position), the communication situation factor, and the purpose of the speech by showing the speaker's sympathy.

Abstract

Students are more familiar with the informal language used on social media than the formal language that should be used in writing short stories. This research use a desciptive qualitative approach. Based on the data obtained, in analyzing the data, language errors were found in students' short story writing, including 7 sentences found in the category of sentence ineffectiveness, 11 words found in diction, 4 words found in affixation, 33 sentences found in spelling, and the absorption elements found were 7 words. Based on the data obtained through this category, it was found that students still often use the wrong vocabulary when writing sentences and arranging words into sentences. The emergence of errors is caused by several causal factors that influence writing which researchers discovered from interviews with students. Mistakes made by class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal when writing short stories include limited vocabulary mastery, habitual factors in using informal language, and the prestige of wanting to show the language of speakers and educated groups using words and sentences.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the principle of Grice's cooperation in oral interaction between teachers and students and its implications for Indonesian language learning in grade VIII.3 of SMP Negeri 7 Denpasar. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study aims to identify the forms of compliance and violation of the Grice principle of cooperation, the factors that cause it, strategies to reduce violations, and its implications for learning. Data is collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and recordings. The results of the study showed that there was compliance and violation of the four maxims of the Grice cooperation principle. Influencing factors include understanding the context, desire to communicate effectively, adequate knowledge, and limited understanding and desire to avoid topics. Strategies to reduce violations include communication training, increased contextual awareness, and the use of clear language. The implications of this study provide insights to improve the quality of interaction and effectiveness of Indonesian learning in the classroom. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan prinsip kerja sama Grice dalam interaksi lisan antara guru dan siswa serta implikasinya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 7 Denpasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi wujud pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama Grice, faktor-faktor penyebabnya, strategi untuk mengurangi pelanggaran, serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan rekaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pematuhan dan pelanggaran terhadap keempat maksim prinsip kerja sama Grice. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi meliputi pemahaman konteks, keinginan berkomunikasi efektif, pengetahuan yang memadai, serta keterbatasan pemahaman dan keinginan menghindari topik. Strategi untuk mengurangi pelanggaran mencakup pelatihan komunikasi, peningkatan kesadaran konteks, dan penggunaan bahasa yang jelas. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan wawasan untuk meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dan efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas.

Abstract

his study aims (1) To describe the form of oral language errors in students' speech in Indonesian language learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, and (2) describing the factors causing students' spoken language errors in Indonesian language learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. Data collection was conducted by observation, recording, note-taking, and interview methods. The data in this study were processed with qualitative data analysis techniques. The steps in analyzing the data are as follows (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, (c) conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that students' oral language errors in the Indonesian language learning process in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi in the 2024/2025 learning year are divided into three main categories, namely errors in memorization, diction, and sentence structure. Memorization errors include phoneme changes, phoneme deletions, and phoneme additions. Diction errors include the use of nonstandard words, words that do not fit the context, and the use of colloquial elements in formal situations. Sentence structure errors include sentences that are less effective, wordy, or incomplete in their main elements. Furthermore, when viewed from the factors that cause errors, it is strongly influenced by students' environmental factors. The use of everyday language or local language commonly used by the surrounding environment usually affects students. In addition, one of the main causes of students' oral language errors is a lack of self-confidence. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kesalahan berbahasa lisan dalam tuturan siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi, dan (2) mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, rekaman, pencatatan, dan wawancara. Data dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam menganalisis data sebagai berikut (a) reduksi data, (b) penyajian data, (c) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mengwi pada tahun pembelajaran 2024/2025 terbagi ke dalam tiga kategori utama, yaitu kesalahan lafal, diksi, dan struktur kalimat. Kesalahan lafal mencangkup perubahan fonem, penghilangan fonem, dan penambahan fonem. Kesalahan diksi mencakup penggunaan kata tidak baku, kata yang tidak sesuai dengan konteks, dan penggunaan unsur bahasa sehari-hari dalam situasi formal. Kesalahan struktur kalimat mencangkup kalimat yang kurang efektif, bertele-tele, atau ketidaklengkapan unsur-unsur pokoknya. Selanjutnya jika dilihat dari faktor penyebab kesalahan sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan siswa. Penggunaan bahasa sehari- hari atau bahasa daerah yang biasa digunakan oleh lingkungan sekitar biasanya mempengaruhi siswa. Selain itu, salah satu penyebab utama kesalahan berbahasa lisan siswa adalah kurangnya rasa percaya diri.

Abstract

This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) which aims to (1) apply the RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Topic) strategy to improve the writing skills of students in grade VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar, (2) describe the steps to implement the RAFT strategy in improving the skills of writing description texts of students in grade VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar, and (3) find out the response of class students VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar on the application of the RAFT strategy in learning to write descriptive texts. The data collection methods used are observation, tests, documentation, and questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the application of the RAFT strategy could improve the skills of writing descriptive texts in grade VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. The improvement of the skill of writing descriptive texts in each cycle, namely the pre-test, the average score of students is 67.8 with classical completeness of 36.3%, then it increases in the first cycle with an average score of 70.4 and classical completeness is 54.5%, and it increases in the second cycle with an average score of 85.8 and classical completeness of 100%. The increase in grades obtained by students is inseparable from the selection of the right steps through the application of the RAFT strategy in learning to write descriptive texts, namely forming groups, choosing topics, assuming roles, selecting participants, choosing formats, and developing them into descriptive text. The implementation of the RAFT strategy received a positive response from students. This is evidenced by the results of the student questionnaire, most of the students strongly agree and agree with the percentage of 95.44%. The results show that the implementation of the RAFT strategy can improve the writing skills of students in grade VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) menerapkan strategi RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Topic) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar, (2) Mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan strategi RAFT dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar, dan (3) mengetahui respon siswa kelas VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar terhadap penerapan strategi RAFT dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi RAFT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi setiap siklusnya, yaitu tes awal (pre-test) nilai rata-rata siswa 67,8 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 36,3%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata yang 70,4 dan ketuntasan klasikal 54,5%, dan semakin meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata yang 85,8 dan ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Peningkatan nilai yang diperoleh siswa tidak terlepas dari pemilihan langkah-langkah yang tepat melalui penerapan strategi RAFT dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi, yaitu membentuk kelompok, memilih topik, mengasumsikan peran, memilih peserta, memilih format, dan mengembangkannya menjadi teks deskripsi. Penerapan strategi RAFT mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil kuesioner siswa, sebagian besar siswa sangat setuju dan setuju dengan persentase 95,44%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi RAFT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII C SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar.

Abstract

This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) which aims to (1) the implementation of the time token method with the help of Question Box media can improve anecdotal text writing skills in grade X 1 students of Saraswati 1 High School (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (2) to find out the steps of the time token method of Question Box media assistance in improving the ability to write anecdotal texts in grade X 1 students of SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. (3) to find out the response of students in class X 1 of SMA Saraswati 1 Denpasar after the implementation of the Time Token method with the help of Question Box media in an effort to improve the ability to write anecdotal texts. The data collection methods used are observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis methods are carried out in a qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive manner. The success indicator in this study is that if the writing ability of students is at least 75 with a good category, the steps to implement the time token method assisted by media question boxes show an increase in students reaching 80% and getting more respondents "SS" (Strongly Agree) and "S" (Agree). The results of the study showed an increase. In the initial test, the average score of students' ability to write anecdotal texts was 46.76, cycle I increased to 64.41 and cycle II increased to 91.17. The implementation of the time token method assisted by media question boxes received a positive response from students, this can be proven from the results of student questionnaires, most students strongly agree and agree with the percentage of 82.93%. Thus, the time token method assisted by question box media can improve students' anecdotal text writing skills. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang di lakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini apabila kemampuan menulis siswa minimal 75 dengan kategori baik, langkah-langkah implementasi metode time token berbantuan media question box menunjukan peningkatan siswa mencapai 80 % dan mendapatkan responden lebih banyak “SS“ (Sangat Setuju) dan “S“ (Setuju). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Pada tes awal nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa yakni 46,76, sikus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 64,41 dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi yang dapat 91,17. Implementasi metode time token berbantuan media question box mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa, hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil kuisioner siswa, sebagian besar siswa sangat setuju dan setuju dengan presentase 82,93%. Dengan demikian metode time token berbantuan media question box dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) find out the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model to improve advertising text writing skills in students in class VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar for the 2024/2025 academic year, (2) find out Steps for Implementing the Project Based Learning Model to Improve Advertising Text Writing Skills in Class VIII C Students of SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Academic Year 2024/2025. Data collection uses observation,tests and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model is to improve advertising text writing skills in class VIII C students at SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Increased student activity can be seen from students' enthusiasm in responding to learning. Students who are active in learning in class are able to understand the material and complete the three tasks given. Furthermore, if we look at student learning outcomes, the improvement in advertising text writing results can be seen from the assignments given by educators to students and can be seen from the students' average test scores. In the pre-test stage students got an average score of 39.10, in cycle I 61.07 and in cycle II students got an average score of 90. This can be seen from students who were able to put together appropriate titles, appropriate content, appropriate usage. language, suitability of writing, mechanics in students about writing advertising texts. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) mengetahui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025, (2)Mengetahui langkah-langkah Penerapan Model Pembelajran Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi,Tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Penerapan Model PjBL (Pembelajaran Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Meningkatnya Aktivitas Siswa tampak dari keantusiasan siswa dalam merespon pembelajaran. Siswa aktif dalam pembelajran dikelas mampu memahami materi serta menyelesaikan tiga yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, Jika ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, Peningkatan hasil menulis teks iklan terlihat dari penugasan yang diberikan oleh pendidik kepada siswa dan dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa. Pada tahap Pre-tes siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 39,10 , Pada siklus I 61,07 dan pada siklus II siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari siswa yang mampu merangkai keseuaian judul, Keseuaian isi, Ketepatan penggunaan bahasa, kesesuaian tulisan, mekanik pada siswa tentang menulis teks iklan.
