Abstract

This study is a class action study (PTK) aimed at 1) Knowing the improvement of speaking skills through digital literacy using case based learning (CBL) methods in the VIII C class of Sapta Andika Junior High School; 2) Knowing the steps of case based learning (CBL) methods in improving speaking skills through digital literacy in news text learning in the VIII C class of Sapta Andika Junior High School. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and test methods. The data obtained are analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in speaking skills through digital literacy using case-based learning (CBL) methods in news text learning in Sapta Andika Junior High School VIII C grade students. This can be seen from the student’s average learning score, which is in the pretest of getting an average test score of 67,67. Then, in cycle I get an average test result of average test score of 75,93. Also, in cycle II, the average test score was 79,65.

Abstract

This study aims to describe anthropological studies in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu. In this study, several issues were raised, such as (1) How is the form of the anthropological elements of the language aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu, (2) How are the anthropological elements of the religious aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu, (3) How are the anthropological elements of the artistic aspect and culture in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu, (4) How are the anthropological elements of the social system aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu. This study found several findings, namely, (1) Describing the anthropological elements of the language aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu, (2) Describing the anthropological elements of the religious aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu (3), Describing the anthropological elements of the artistic and cultural aspects in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu (4), describes the anthropological elements of the social system aspect in the novel Hyouka by Yonezawa Honobu. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method and in this research uses techniques of reading, noting, and describing the facts obtained then translated through analysis to obtain valid results. The research results obtained from the novel Hyouka are, (1) anthropological aspects of language such as speaking activities in interaction and the use of letters which are a type of written literature, (2) anthropology of religious aspects which contain a belief or magical power, (3) anthropology aspects of art and culture which are the result of human creativity which are used as a means of expressing desires, thoughts and understanding of nature - the environment, (4) anthropological aspects of social systems including systems that arise from human deficiencies needed to fill a certain space.

Abstract

This reseach is classroom action research ( PTK) which aims to(1) test the eeffectiveness of the brainwriting method in blended learning the writing skil of ezposition test in class VII SMPN 7 Denpasar; (2) Knowing the steps of the branwriting metod the blended learning theb skill of writing method inexposition test in class VII student at smpn 7 Denpasar. Data collection was carried using observation tes an quantitative ang qualitative. The data that has been obtained was analized using a applying the brainwriting method there was an increase in the skils off writing exposition text in class VII student at SMPN 7 Denpasar. The improvement in writing skills off exposition text can be seen from the results of the student’savaerage scores obtained in the first cycle test, which wa 5,7% and increased ins the secos cycle, which was 8,18%. Step impleming the method carried out, namely: (1) preparing a lesson plan( RPP), as wll as preparing learning matrials an and explaining the material, (2) student are allowed to ask questions regarding the material being discussed an the teacher delivers words at can arouse enthusiasm an provide motivation for student (3) student will write free short strory text themes which will later be formet in a paragraf, ( 4) then stundet are allowed to discuss with the theme of bench to exchange ideas, both in the form of suggestion. The results of the application of the method were carried out well.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to 1) find out whether the ICT-based time token method can improve speaking skills in class VII E students of SMP N 14 Denpasar; 2) find out the steps for the ICT-based time token method in improving speaking skills in class VII E students of SMP N 14 Denpasar. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and test methods. The data obtained was then analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive techniques. The research results obtained showed that there was an increase in speaking skills through the ICT-based time token method in class VII E students at SMP N 14 Denpasar. The improvement in students' speaking skills can be seen from the initial test score of 67.47 in cycle I, namely 81.04 and the test score in cycle II increased to 90.38. The application of the ICT-based time token learning model strategy makes students feel happy, because it provides an interesting passion for students to do it.   Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan 1) mengetahui apakah metode metode time token berbasis ICT dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas VII E SMP N 14 Denpasar; 2) mengetahui langkah-langkah metode time token berbasis ICT dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas VII E SMP N 14 Denpasar. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan tes. Data yang didapatkan lalu dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif dan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode time token berbasis ICT pada siswa kelas VII E SMP N 14 Denpasar. Peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa dilihat dari nilai tes awal sebesar 67.47 pada siklus I yaitu 81.04 dan nilai tes siklus II naik menjadi 90,38. Penerapan setrategi model pembelajaran time token yang berbasis ICT membuat siswa merasa senang, karena memberikan gairah yang menarik untuk siswa mengerjakannya.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve writing skills through the application of the Guide Writing method to improve the descriptive text writing skills of class VII D students at SMP Widya Sakti Denpasar for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data in this research was obtained using observation and test methods to determine students’ ability to write descriptive text. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the research results, this research was carried out in two cycles which proves that the Guide Writing method can improve students’ ability to write descriptive text. This can be seen from the average score in the initial test (pretest), which was 39,8 in the poor category, then increased in the first cycle, namely the average student score became 58,9 in the sufficient category. Compared to cycle I, the average student score improved by 76,9 in cycle II with a good.   Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilam menulis melalui penerapan metode Guide Writing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII D SMP Widya Sakti Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh menggunakan metode observasi dan tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang membuktikan bahwa metode Guide Writing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pada tes awal (pretest) yaitu 39,8 dengan kategori kurang kemudian meningkat pada siklus I yaitu nilai rata-rata siswa menjadi 58,9 dengan kategori cukup. Dibandingkan siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat lebih baik sebesar 76,9 pada siklus II dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) find out that the CIRC method can improve the ability to write short stories in class VIII C students at Widya Sakti Denpasar Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year, (2) find out the right steps in application of the CIRC method to improve short story writing skills. Data collection used observation methods and test methods. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods. The research results obtained showed that there had been an increase in the test scores as follows: (1) In cycle I the average score of the initial test (pretest) increased from 3.69 to 5.69. (2) Cycle II increased the average value from 5.69 to 8.19. The steps for implementing the CIRC method are as follows: 1) the teacher asks students what they know about short stories, 2) the teacher asks students to group together by counting. Each group consists of 4-5 students. 3) the teacher explains the meaning of short stories, the purpose of writing short stories, the steps for writing short stories and examples of short stories, 4) the teacher distributes short story texts to each group and asks them to read the short story texts with their friends, 5) the teacher invites students to analyze the use of spelling according to EYD, the diction used, the harmony and suitability of the content of the story with the themes presented in the short story text that has been distributed 6) after the teacher explains, students are invited to ask questions 7) The teacher gives assignments to students in each group to create a story short with a theme given by the teacher. 8) after the students create a short story the teacher assigns each group to present the results of the short story they have created 9) the teacher provides feedback to each group. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) mengetahui bahwa dengan metode CIRC dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas VIII C SMP Widya Sakti Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam penerapan metode CIRC untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yaitu dari nilai tes sebagai berikut: (1) Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata tes awal (pretest) meningkat dari 3,69 menjadi 5,69. (2) Siklus II peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 5,69 menjadi 8,19. langkah-langkah penerapan metode CIRC sebagai berikut: 1) guru memberi pertanyaan kepada siswa apa yang mereka ketahui tentang cerita pendek, 2) guru meminta siswa untuk berkelompok dengan cara berhitung. Setiap kelompok terdiri atas 4-5 siswa. 3) guru menjelaskan pengertian cerita pendek, tujuan menulis cerita pendek, langkah-langkah menulis cerita pendek dan contoh cerita pendek, 4) guru membagikan teks cerita pendek kepada setiap kelompok dan meminta untuk membaca teks cerita pendek bersama teman-temannya, 5) guru mengajak siswa untuk menganalisis penggunaan ejaan sesuai EYD, diksi yang digunakan, keselarasan dan kesesuaian isi cerita dengan tema yang disajikan dalam teks cerita pendek yang sudah dibagikan 6) setelah guru menjelaskan maka siswa dipersilahkan untuk bertanya 7) Guru memberikan tugas disetiap kelompok untuk membuat cerita pendek dengan tema yang diberikan guru. 8) setelah siswa membuat cerita pendek guru menugaskan masing-masing kelompok untuk mempresentasikannya 9) guru memberikan tanggapan kepada masing-masing kelompok.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) Knowing that the implementation of SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning can improve activities and learning outcomes of writing short stories in grade VII E students of SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara for the 2023/2024 academic year; (2) Know the steps for implementing SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning in improving activities and learning outcomes of writing short stories for grade VII E students of SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection is carried out by observation and test methods. The data obtained are then analyzed descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the application of SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning methods was effective in improving students' skills and learning outcomes in writing short stories in grade VII E students of SMP 4 North Kuta. The increase in student skills can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in responding to learning. Students are active in learning in class and are able to understand the material and complete the tasks given. Furthermore, when viewed from student learning outcomes, the increase in short story writing results can be seen from the results of assignments given by educators to students and can be reviewed from the average score of student tests. In the precycle stage students obtained an average score of 5.28, in cycle I students obtained an average score of 7.39 and in cycle II students obtained an average score of 8.46. This can be seen from students who are able to string together stories, choose the right words, harmony of sentences with one another and students can create a written work in the form of a short story. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) Mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024; (2) Mengetahui langkah-langkah pengimplementasian pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solvee Create, and Share) dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP 4 Kuta Utara. Meningkatnya aktivitas siswa tampak dari keantusiasan siswa dalam merespon pembelajaran. Siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan mampu memahami materi serta menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, jika ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, peningkatan hasil menulis cerpen terlihat dari hasil penugasan yang diberikan oleh pendidik kepada siswa dan dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa. Pada tahap prasiklus siswa memperoleh nilai rata rata 5,28 pada siklus I siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 7,39 dan pada siklus II siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 8,46. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari siswa yang mampu merangkai cerita, pemilihan kata yang tepat, keselarasan kalimat satu dengan yang lainnya serta siswa dapat menciptakan suatu karya tulis berupa cerpen.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (PTK) with goal 1. To improve the reading comprehension of grade VIIC students of SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar for the 2022/2023 academic year; (2) knowing the steps for implementing the Colllaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) learning method to improve the reading comprehension of grade VIIC students of SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection is carried out by observation and test methods. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the application of CSR methods can improve reading comprehension skills of grade VIIC students of SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar. The pre cycle results showed that 40 students had an average standard score of 4.42 still on the criteria of lacking, the score was still relatively low and needed to be improved to the next cycle by improving teaching. In cycle I has increased with an average score of 5.92 with sufficient category In cycle II the test results of increased reading comprehension ability reached an average value of 6.9 with more than enough category. In cycle III the test results for improving reading comprehension skills reached an average score of 8.15 with a good category, this average score has met the KKM value of 7.5. The steps for implementing the CSR method: the teacher divides students into groups, previewing, click and clunk, getting the gist, wrap-up and the teacher assigns students to make summaries based on texts that have been read and understood. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang berutujuan 1. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIIC SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar; (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan metode pembelajaran Colllaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIIC SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode CSR dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VIIC SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar. Hasil prasiklus menunjukan bahwa 40 peserta didik memiliki nilai rata-rata skor standar sebesar 4,42 masih pada kriteria kurang, nilai tersebut masih tergolong rendah dan perlu adanya peningkatan ke siklus selanjutnya dengan memperbaiki pengajaran. Pada siklus I sudah mengalami peningkatan denga nilai rata-rata 5,92 dengan kategori cukup Pada siklus II hasil tes peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman mencapai nilai rata-rata 6,9 dengan kategori lebih dari cukup. Pada siklus III hasil tes peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman mencapai nilai rata-rata 8,15 dengan kategori baik, nilai rata-rata ini sudah memenuhi nilai KKM yaitu 7,5. Adapun Langkah-langkah penerapan metode CSR: guru membagi siswa dalam bentuk kelompok, previewing (curah pendapat), click and clunk, getting the gist, wrap-Up dan guru menugaskan siswa membuat ringkasan berdasarkan teks yang telah dibaca dan dipahami.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to (1) determine the improvement of students' listening skills using the cooperative script method in class VII A students at SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta for the 2023/2024 academic year; and (2) find out the steps for the cooperative script method to improve listening skills in learning fantasy stories for class VII A students at SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta for the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects of this research were 29 students in class VII A of SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta. Data collection methods include observation and tests. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets and tests. The learning outcomes of listening to students' fantasy stories increased after the second cycle was carried out. In cycle I, students' learning outcomes in listening to fantasy stories increased with an average score of 5.1 in the almost sufficient category. In cycle II the average score for students' listening to fantasy stories was 8.1 in the good category. It can be said that in the implementation of cycle II, the skill in listening to fantasy stories increased by getting the best score. So it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative script method can improve the fantasy story listening skills of class VII A students at SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta for the 2023/2024 academic year. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa dengan menggunakan metode cooperative script pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara tahun pelajaran 2023/2024; dan (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah metode cooperative script untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dalam pembelajaran cerita fantasi pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara sebanyak 29 orang. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes. Hasil belajar menyimak cerita fantasi siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan II siklus. Pada siklus I hasil belajar menyimak cerita fantasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 5,1 kategori hampir cukup. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata hasil menyimak cerita fantasi siswa 8,1 kategori baik dapat dikatakan bahwa pada pelaksanaan siklus II ini peningkatan keterampilan menyimak cerita fantasi mengalami peningkatan dengan memperoleh nilai paling baik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita fantasi pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara tahun pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (CAR) which aims to 1) Find out how to improve reading comprehension skills through the SQ3R learning method in class VII B students at Widya Sakti Middle School, Denpasar; 2) Knowing the steps of the SQ3R learning method in improving reading comprehension skills in class VII B students at Widya Sakti Middle School, Denpasar. Data collection was carried out by observation and tests. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. The research results obtained showed that there was an increase in reading comprehension skills through the SQ3R method. This increase can be seen from the initial test score, namely 40.15, which then increased in cycle I to 49.62, increasing again in cycle II to 61.82. Compared to cycle II, the average student score increased better to 80 in cycle III. The steps of the SQ3R method are 1) Survey: students are asked to observe the fantasy story text by reading parts of the text, 2) Qquestion: students are asked to understand the questions given by the teacher, 3) Read: students are given a certain amount of time it takes longer to read the entire content of the reading and find answers to the questions that have been given, 4) Recite: after reading the whole story, students are asked to answer the questions that have been given without opening the answer book, 5) Review: students are asked to review briefly all questions and answers.
