Abstract

The background to this research problem is the impact of giving rewards on student learning motivation. The research objectives are 1) To determine and describe the impact of giving rewards on student learning motivation. 2) To find out and describe how students are motivated to learn. This research uses qualitative research. The research subjects were class VIII students. Research results 1) The impact of giving rewards on students' learning motivation in learning, students are more active in learning, triggering student involvement in the learning process 2) Students' learning motivation before giving rewards, many students are lazy in doing assignments, very rarely ask or answer questions from the teacher, and student learning motivation after giving rewards to students shows a more active learning attitude in learning, doing assignments on time, quickly completing and submitting assignments, calm and orderly in the learning process. The conclusion of the research is that the impact of giving rewards on student learning motivation is very positive, students are more active in learning, triggering student involvement in the learning process. Researchers provide several suggestions, namely 1) The impact of rewards should be more positive in increasing students' learning motivation through providing educational rewards. 2) Students' learning motivation should be further increased by teachers in PPPKn and subject areas through providing rewards and applying various learning methods.

Abstract

The problem with this study is that students' learning activities and learning outcomes tend to be low. The objective of the study is to determine the application of Team Her Quiz Learning Model to improve learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship Education in Class VIII of SMP Negri 1 Sidhu Aori. This study uses classroom style action research. The study subjects were 18 students of class VIII, and the students' learning outcomes were as follows: In Cycle I, the average student learning outcome was 60.83 points, and the completion rate was 44.44%, and in Cycle II, the average student learning outcome was 60.83 points, and the completion rate was 44.44%. The rate was 44.44%. 'The learning outcome was 76.94 points and the completion rate was 100%. . The conclusion of the study is to apply the team quiz learning model to improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila and citizenship education for class VIII in SMP Negri 1 Sidhu Aori. Researchers have made several suggestions, including: Students should be more courageous in expressing their opinions and asking questions to their friends and teachers, so that interaction between students and teachers will occur and learning will be more active. Teachers need to be more careful in choosing variations in the application of learning models that help develop students' potential. Schools should provide teachers with guidance on the use of active and fun learning models, such as the team quiz learning model, to enable active and fun learning and best achieve learning objectives. Future researchers should further develop this classroom practice research as a research model to improve the quality of learning and enrich the body of knowledge in the field of education.

Abstract

The problem with this sentence is that it reduces students' learning motivation and leads to low learning outcomes. The purpose of this article is to determine the application of the problem learning model to improve PPKn learning. This letter uses the type of "class action lawsuit letter". The target audience for this paper is 26 students in class 73.85, and the completion rate is 100%. The conclusion of the letter is that the application of the problem learning model improves learning outcomes in Civics classes, and the author provides several suggestions: 1) Students should collaborate with other students in group discussions, need to get used to it and actively participate. Learning activities such as asking questions and expressing opinions can expand your information and knowledge. 2) Teachers should be more creative in maintaining students' learning motivation and should be more creative in implementing appropriate learning models so that learning is more effective and efficient. 3) Schools should improve the quality of learning and academic achievement by optimizing teacher performance through the implementation of innovative learning models. 4) Future authors should develop this text on a larger scale. Apart from that, other authors can further develop this text along with other variables that are more innovative and add insight to improve quality.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, the learning process is still based on the teacher and does not involve complete student participation, students mostly listen and write what the teacher conveys during the learning process. Student activity seems to be lacking in the learning process, especially student activity in asking/confirming with the teacher regarding the material discussed and the subject teacher. Teachers do not fully understand the learning difficulties of students in Class VIII-B at SMP Negeri 1 Luahagundre Maniamolo. This research aims to be descriptive qualitative. The research results show that students experience learning difficulties in the Biology science subject. This research data was analyzed using interview, documentation and informant methods. The results of this research are that there are student learning difficulties. Internal factors that cause students' learning difficulties are intelligence, interests and talents, learning media. Meanwhile, external factors that cause students to experience learning difficulties are the school environment, parents and the community environment. The researcher's suggestions (1) teachers should be able to better control the class during the learning process, and apply good learning and provide conclusions from students' questions. (2) Future researchers should carry out this research with a wider scope.

Abstract

The unavailability of learning modules that can stimulate student learning motivation is a serious obstacle in the learning process because it greatly influences student motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to develop a problem solving-based reproductive system learning module. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) using the 4D development method. This research was tested on 20 students of class XI-IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Umbunasi. In order to standardize the product, there are three test stages, namely validity test, practicality test and effectiveness test. The instrument used is a research questionnaire using a Likert scale and evaluation test questions to determine student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the problem solving based learning module is very valid with a percentage of 94.1% and is feasible to use. The average value of practicality by teachers is 3.7% and students are 3.8% in the very practical category. The results of student motivation were at 95.5% with an average cognitive score of 88.7 compared to before using the problem solving-based learning module with an average score of 58.8 in the sufficient category. The suggestions put forward by the researcher are 1) Through this learning module students can utilize good learning resource materials in order to increase their knowledge and their learning outcomes continue to increase. 2) Biology subject teachers should be able to use this problem solving-based learning module in the learning process because it can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. 3) For future researchers, this problem solving-based learning module can be used as a reference in relevant research.

Abstract

The background to the problem of this research is that students in reading news texts have not shown results that meet the minimum completeness criteria. This is evident from the average score of students which only reaches 60, while the minimum completion criteria for Indonesian language subjects reaches 75. This research aims to determine the clarity of articulation, accuracy of intonation, fluency, volume of voice, suitability of facial expressions when reading news texts for class VIII students. O'o'u State Middle School 1. The approach used in this research is a descriptive approach. This research data was analyzed using data reduction, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that there are still students who are poor at reading news texts because they lack mastery of several aspects, including unclear pronunciation, lack of confidence, and students still use a low volume of voice and lack confidence in reading it. Students still look shy and hesitant when reading news texts in front of the class. Apart from that, students also do not pay attention to the punctuation marks in the news text. Suggestions for future researchers, the results of this research can be used as material for further research on the principles of politeness in Indonesian.

Abstract

The research was prompted by students' frequent errors in solving word problems related to SPLDV material, which adversely affect their grasp of mathematical concepts. The primary objective of this study is to elucidate students' errors in solving story problems based on SPLDV material, focusing on their conceptual understanding. Employing qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach, the research involved 21 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Toma during the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through tests and interviews, and subsequent analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that students' conceptual understanding of solving SPLDV story problems is moderately classified. Specifically, the high conceptual understanding category comprises 19% (4 individuals), the medium conceptual understanding category encompasses 57% (12 individuals), and those with a low conceptual understanding constitute 24% (5 individuals). In summary, students with a high conceptual understanding are proficient in comprehending and solving SPLDV story problems. Those in the medium category make errors due to suboptimal conceptual understanding, while those in the low category commit errors in concepts, principles, and operations, rendering them unable to solve mathematical problems presented in story form. The researcher suggests that, recognizing the significance of story problem material in mathematics, teachers should intensify the application of story problem learning, incorporating more diverse models to enhance students' conceptual understanding and foster increased motivation in approaching these problems.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, word pronunciation errors have become a habit for students to pronounce words. This research aims to describe word pronunciation errors in the Indonesian language learning process by class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Idanotae for the 2022/2023 academic year. The approach used in this research is a case study approach. This research data was analyzed using data reduction, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are the omission (omotion) of seven sentences, the addition (addition) of seven sentences, the misformation of four sentences, the misordering of eleven sentences. Suggestions for future researchers, the results of this research can be used as material for further research on word pronunciation in language.

Abstract

Penelitian pada dasarnya adalah cara transformasi ilmu dari seorang pendidik kepada peserta didik melalui suatu tindakan yang sering disebut dengan realisasi yang terjadi di sekolah baik dalam suasana formal maupun nonformal. Program pendidikan adalah sekumpulan rencana dan tindakan sehubungan dengan target, isi dan materi pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan instruktif tertentu. Ide rencana pendidikan tercipta sesuai dengan kemajuan hipotesis dan praktik instruktif, dan selanjutnya berfluktuasi sesuai dengan jadwal instruktif sehari-hari yang diambil. Kurikulum merupakan alat untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan pedoman untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak kurikulum 2013 terhadap semangat belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Lahusa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan mempelajari data-data yang diperoleh. Pengumpulan informasi dalam eksplorasi ini dilakukan dengan cara berbincang langsung dengan pendidik dan siswa. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan merupakan komponen analisis data yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelaahan atas yang telah dilakukan oleh para analis, terlihat bahwa pelaksanaan rencana pendidikan tahun 2013 dalam kegiatan pembelajaran telah benar-benar selesai, namun ada beberapa siswa yang masih belum kreatif dalam berkonsentrasi pada materi yang diberikan tanpa orang lain dan tidak imajinatif dalam mencari sumber atau referensi. orang lain yang mendukung materi yang sedang direnungkan. Namun sebagian besar siswa memiliki semangat dan minat yang besar dalam belajar serta dapat berpikir dasar sendiri dan belajar bersama teman sekolahnya.

Abstract

variable linear equation material for class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Teluk in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is qualitative research that is associative in nature. To determine students' mathematical connection abilities in one-variable linear equations. The data source in this research was 18 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Telukdalam. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been presented, the researcher will present the research results based on descriptive analysis. Of all the subjects in the medium ability and low ability categories, it is stated that the indicators of using and assessing the relationship between PLSV concepts and other fields of science, students have poor mathematical connection abilities. students in the high ability category are able to solve questions well according to indicators of mathematical connection ability. Because all indicators are met, students who have high abilities also have good mathematical connection abilities. Thus, students who have high abilities will be able to use mathematical connection skills well.
