Abstract

Learning media is a tool used by a teacher in the teaching and learning process to attract students' interest and attention to learning. Therefore, as a teacher you must be able to use learning media so that the learning process can be carried out effectively. The aim of this research is how to use learning media to improve student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Lahomi. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The type of data in this research is primary data which is data obtained from the learning process carried out by PPKn teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Lahomi. Then, the data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is using Sugyono's theory (2013:246), including; data reduction, data display, conclusion/verification. Based on the research findings and discussion in this study, the researcher can conclude that the learning media used by PPKn teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Lahomi are visual media, including; print media/books, laptops, and infocus/projectors and image media/maps. By using these learning media, the learning process can be followed by students so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out effectively and efficiently. Therefore, it can influence the improvement of student learning outcomes, characterized by student activity and can be seen from the test scores given by the teacher. Based on this, researchers provide suggestions so that teachers in schools can have creativity in using learning media in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Sentence errors make the text not have high limitations, while language errors are characterized by retention of the use of speech forms of various linguistic units which include words. Sentences and paragraphs from systematics and standard Indonesian as well as the use of spelling and punctuation that have been determined in the Indonesian spelling book. This research aims to analyze the Exposition Text Writing Process of Class X students of Bina Kasih Private High School, Aramo District, Academic Year 2023/2024. This type of research is descriptive type qualitative research. This research was conducted in November. Based on the results of the research data analysis, the description of the research data can be concluded that there are 12 data for the thesis and 26 data for arguments as many as the number of students, while in reconfirmation there is 1 (one) data. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, in terms of the completeness of the text structure, starting from the thesis, arguments and conclusions have appeared in the text. This shows that the students' background knowledge is quite good. Apart from that, the thesis support is organized and logical, in terms of vocabulary and sentence structure, mastery and use of words in sentences are adequate. The use of complex sentence constructions is effective and the meaning is quite clear. The suggestions in this research are (1) The ability to write expository texts needs to be improved further. (2) It is recommended that future researchers continue to pay attention to the development of learning methods used in schools in learning process exposition texts so that students are able to understand all the material presented. (3) Further research needs to be carried out by other researchers in order to provide constructive input for the world of education, especially in improving students' ability to write process exposition texts.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the increase in student learning outcomes in class VIII of SMP Swasta Karya Kasih Zuzundrao, that the increase in learning outcomes of students who were less active in learning was caused by the learning model used. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the influence of the Jigsaw Type Quasi Cooperative Learning model. This research method is experimental using quantitative research. The instruments used are learning outcomes tests and documentation. The samples used in this research were class VIII-a with 28 students as the experimental class and class VIII-b with 25 students as the control class. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis results, the calculated tcount was obtained, > ttable (0.027> 0.05). This shows that the value of tcount>ttable means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an influence of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning model on improving student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that students are able to achieve mastery of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning approach to learning approaches that require students to completely master all competency standards and basic competencies in certain subjects individually or in groups: (1) the teacher wants to apply the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model competency standards and basic competencies in economic subjects can be implemented systematically so that students master them completely; (2) The results of this research should be used as comparison material for other researchers.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the basic sciences that plays an important role in the development of science and technology and is very useful in everyday life. However, so far students have been less active in the learning process. In fact, there are still many schools who experience difficulty in finding material concepts for themselves, because learning is still teacher-centered and the teaching materials available in the form of LKPD are less attractive so that students are not motivated to study the material contained in these teaching materials. This research aims to develop a Student Worksheet based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on social arithmetic material that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The data collection techniques used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes tests. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on research and discussion, the validation results from material experts are 83.33% with very feasible criteria, the validation results from media expert validators are 80% with very feasible criteria, and the validation results from language expert validators are 92% with very feasible criteria. The practicality test results of individual trial respondents were 73.66% with interesting and practical criteria, the results of small group trial respondents were 75.50% with the interesting and practical category, and the results of field trial respondents were 75.54% with interesting and practical categories. practical. The effectiveness results obtained an average value of 81% in the very effective category. Researchers hope that this LKPD can be used to improve students' abilities in the material of indefinite integrals in algebraic functions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the application of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model to student learning outcomes. The subjects of this research were 26 class X IPS students. The results of this research obtained an average initial test score of 64.96%, an average final test score of 82.08%. Conclusions, namely: (1) The Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes, this is because by implementing the Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model students are more active in learning activities and can understand the concept of the material well, (2) Student learning outcomes increased from 64.96% in the first cycle, it turns out that the percentage of student learning completion has not met the target set at 75%. So it was continued in the second cycle with 82.08%, with a very good category because these results showed very good results. Based on the level of student learning success, in this case the target of success has been achieved. Suggestions, namely: (1) The application of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model provides better learning outcomes compared to conventional learning models, so it is hoped that schools, especially teachers, can apply the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model to other materials that are appropriate to this learning. , (2) For researchers who will use the Talking Stick Type Cooperative learning model, they should be able to collaborate well with observers so that they can improve the learning process to get optimal results, (3) The teacher should always encourage students to be more active so that the teacher only acts as facilitator for students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the ability to listen to news for class X SMA Negeri 1 O'o'u for the 2023/2024 academic year. The approach used in this research is a descriptive approach. This research data was analyzed using data reduction, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that there are still many students in the ability to listen to news in class This is because many students still lack concentration in the learning process, especially in listening to the news, and there are still many students who do not know the elements of news because the news that students hear does not match what they want. Suggestions for future researchers, the results of this research can be used as relevant research material. For students, it is hoped that this research will motivate students to be able to understand the news listening abilities of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 O'o'u. Abstract

The problem in this research is that there are still teachers who lack discipline in the learning process and there are still teachers who neglect their work. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of work motivation on the performance of Indonesian language teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Toma for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research. The subjects in this research were 2 Indonesian language teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Toma for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between work motivation and teacher performance as evidenced by the value of work motivation (X) t count 1 > t table 0.997 with a significance level of 0.05 (5%) with a very strong correlation coefficient, which means that work motivation (X) has a positive effect on teacher performance (Y), then Ha which states if t count > t table = Ha is accepted and t count < t table = Ha is rejected. So, the value of Ha is accepted. The suggestions put forward by the researcher are suggestions to school leaders to always provide better teacher performance, and can be used as reference material and information material for readers and advanced researchers and raise the same problem in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to develop LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. This type of research (Research and Development) uses the 4D development model. This research was tested on 15 class X Science students at SMA Negeri 2 Susua. To standardize products, three test stages are carried out, namely validity, practicality test and effectiveness test. The instruments used are assessment questionnaires using a Likert scale and evaluation test questions to determine student learning outcomes. The research results show that the LKPD based on the Problem Based Learning is very valid with a percentage of 90.4% and is suitable for use. The average value of practicality assessed by teachers is 3.5 and students are 3.5 in the very practical category. Student motivation results were in the very high category at 88.17% with an average cognitive score of 90.4 compared to previously using LKPD with an average score of 58.4% in the sufficient category. Based on the research results, the development of student worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on human excretion material for class X SMA Negeri 2 Susua was declared valid, practical and effective for improving student learning outcomes. For future researchers, it is suggested that this problem based learning LKPD can be used as a reference in relevant research.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still students with unstable conditions, so it is hoped that strong religious values ​​will be instilled so that they will be embedded and have an influence on students' daily lives. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data source is writing or sentences in the true story There is an Immortal by Eidelweis Almira which contains religious values. The research results show that the true story "There is an Eternal" by Eidelweis Almira has religious values ​​regarding the value of truth, the value of beauty, the value of goodness or morals and religious values. Students are taught about life, taught to help each other, make sacrifices for their brothers and fellow humans, taught about cooperation, taught to accept the realities of life, taught about patience, surrender and asking for God's help. The suggestions put forward by researchers are (1) the results of the research can be used as a reference for teachers in teaching literature at school; (2) the research results can be used as a guide in understanding the religious values ​​contained in a true story; and (3) future researchers should be able to develop this research with a broader scope related to literary works.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and produce scientific-based learning materials on human movement systems in class VIII SMP that are valid, practical and effective. The method in this research uses research methods in the form of development or Research and Development (R&D). Based on the results of the module development, the scientific-based development of the human movement system module was declared valid, practical and effective for improving student learning outcomes. It is said to be valid because this teaching material has been validated by three validators so that it can be used by teachers and students, and during the practicality test on teachers and students this teaching material is easy to use and very effective for motivating students in learning activities. Based on the research results and conclusions that have been described previously, there are several suggestions in this research which are as follows: 1) Students can use this scientific-based science learning module in science learning. 2) Science subject teachers can use this scientific-based learning module teaching materials to support learning activities, especially in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Aramo. 3) For SMP Negeri 1 Aramo schools, they can use this scientific-based learning module to increase their knowledge and understanding in making teaching materials. 4) For future researchers, this research can be a source of information in developing scientific-based science modules that can now be used in other subjects. 5) For researchers, these researchers can increase knowledge and expand the preparation of scientific work regarding movement sites in humans. 6) For students, this research can be a source of information for the same researchers with a wider scope.
