Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the chemistry sector. PT. XYZ which located in Cikarang industrial area currently has 200 people of employees with the increament in the production and income for the recent years. This situation means company require to improve management and supervision from the management in order to get the production and income increamentoptimized. Accordingly to this, the needs of company management based on integrated supply chain system becoming important.To date, although the current system mostly using computers, there are still different application in some of computers. Unintegrated system cause the double data input which make the process and output result ineffective and inefficient. The application of integrated system hope will support the service activity specially providing information with quick, precise,accurate, and controlled. Integrated information system here defined as a system consist of various component ofdata, application, and technology which related each other to support the information needs of the company. This research using literature, data collection, data analysis, data flow diagram, entity relationship management, specification process, application implementation, andapplication trial. The problem solving including this step: problem identification, objective formulation, inventoring, compile and analysis, and the design method of integrated supplychain information system.

Abstract

In the industrial era PT Cigading Habeam Center is engaged in fabrication to increaseproduction capacity by powered machinery production quality and have modern technology, inan effort to increase the stability of production, the company should maintain optimumproduction machinery. Then maintenance effort by the Division is required to performmaintenance of these machines. In an effort to implement preventive maintenance withApplication Early Warning System for Computerized-based Preventive Maintenance is veryimportant.In reaching this preventive maintenance treatment, using data obtained decay interval field tothe stages of the calculation index of fit for each component and calculate the parameters ofMean Time To Failure (MTTF) to obtain the optimal change at any time spareparts. Theturnover time of the reference optimal schedule change spareparts, In supporting turn right ontime, so it takes a reminder system, an early warning system or Early Warning System for theturn spareparts. Draft Model Early Warning System produces signals to indicate the spareparts must be replaced.

Abstract

The development of automotive world in this global era has big bump. It is necessary to know that Indonesian market is getting more developing every day. In the future, Indonesian automobile market is expected to be the one of big market. It is estimated that automotive market in Indonesia may absorb 1 million units of automobile every year. 21 DUA SATUMOTOR is located at Jl. Imam Bonjol Raya no 88 Karawaci,Tangerang. 21 DUA SATU MOTOR has purpose to develop business by establishing automobile salon business, considering quietly large opportunity in BSD City Serpong. This research is to firstly, identify outline scheme of company strategy by mapping the automobile salon business in BusinessModel Canvas, secondly, to see business appropriateness from financial area which shall analyze revenue stream area (income) and cost structure (cost) in the established BusinessModel Canvas. Based on Business Model Canvas, it may be concluded that there are 9 important factors in running automobile salon business. Firstly, value of automobile salon better focuses on premium products, facility comfort and quality and guaranteed final result.Secondly, the primary segmentation of automobile salon includes entrepreneurs, private employees or college students ranging from 25-54 year of ages. Third factor is the closeness between the business place and spare part centre in BSD City Serpong. Fourthly, customers arealso interested in membership offer with major facilities of guaranteed automobile salon.Fifthly, to perform all value-oriented activities for potential customers, automobile salon of 21DUA SATU must prioritize key resources on professional human resource and utilization andquality raw materials. In this case, customer-favored mark is 3M. Sixthly, from process side,main activity should focus on automobile salon service and promotion activity. Seventhly, as adrive for improving company performance, partnership is also an important thing. In additionto cooperation with raw material suppliers to get special price and press production cost, banksand credit card providers are also needed to enhance automobile owner interest to try theautomobile salon 21 DUA SATU with discounted facilities. Eighthly, main income ofautomobile salon is the automobile salon package including full total salon package, exteriorsalon package, interior salon package, and wax wash package. Ninthly, necessary costs tocreate value for customers consist of tool cost and its maintenance, promotion cost, labor cost,operational supporting cost and variable cost including water, electricity, phone and rawmaterial of automobile salon. By considering revenue stream and cost structure and analyzingpay back period, proper decision may be made from this automobile salon business of 21 DUASATU. Abstract

Economic Value Added (EVA) has received a lot of recognition as a measure of predictionof share price. While the measure has been widely used for the purpose all over the world, manyresearch studies have appeared to examine variety of issues related to EVA. An attempt hasbeen made in this paper to call EVA-based analysis for the Indonesian Banking Industry. ASample of 10 public sector banks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange has been selected. Thefinancial data of these sample units for four years, 2008-2011, have been used for the analysisand comparison. Equity approach has been followed to compute EVA. Economic Value Added(EVA) is now being considered as an important management tool across the banking world formeasuring and rewarding performance inside the bank. Most of the banks measure performancewith accounting profits which are often seriously measure of profitability. EVA is anothermeasure of profitability. Unlike accounting profits such as ROA, ROE, NPM, DER, EVAindicates the value to what extent created by management or agent for shareholders. This paperaims to analyze banks' performance through financial ratio and EVA. For this purpose, EVAhas been calculated taking certain assumptions as to the cost of equity and operational profitadjustments. A rank of regression coefficient between Share Price and different criteriaindicates the decreasing rank from high to low under 'Return on Asset', 'Debt to Equity','Economic Value Added' and 'Net Profit Margin'.

Abstract

PT. Bona Metal Packaging is a company that move within area of making alumunium tube. In the current era of globalization oil industry was thriving. Please note this problem in many companies today are focused to compete with each other (Red Ocean Strategy) of differentiation of goods, snatch market share, competitive advantage, and low cost strategy. Red Ocean Strategy is important, but at a certain saturation point of this strategy is no longerprofitable for the company. Therefore, it would be nice to begin to look for the Blue Ocean Strategy that tends away from the competition. The aim is to produce a new business development strategy and has Blue Ocean Strategy in PT.X Indonesia in the period from 2013 to 2014. By analyzing the external and internal analysis, and SWOT analysis will get the results of the Blue Ocean Strategy formulation is seen from the Strategy Canvas, 4 Action Frameworkand ERRC Grid. From the formulation of blue ocean strategy is obtained which is expected to know the alternative is a new strategy Blue Ocean in the oil and gas industry.

Abstract

AirPhibi Tour & Travel is a travel agency that always put the customer’s satisfaction ontop within every service they give. By considering the voice of customers, the company hasdiscovered some particular-internal details that could be evaluated and be improved to achievethe customer’s satisfaction in the future.By using the servqual method on the customer’s satisfaction problem, it’s been identifiedthat the gap score between the customer’s expectation (3.91) and perception (3.73) is -0.18. Thegap score itself signifies that the AirPhibi Tour & Travel service quality is nearly hit thecustomer’s satisfaction ideal value, which is 0 or more. The calculation of CustomerSatisfaction Index (CSI) gives result score 75.21, this index respresents that the AirPhibi Tour& Travel’s service quality is in the “Satisfying” range of customer’s satisfaction categories.From the analysis of the Importance Performance Matrix (IPM) categorization, there are 8points of customer’s requirements that subsequently will be developed in order to construct aQuality Function Deployment (QFD) matrix. They are online features development as thecompany’s information and transaction directory, domestic and international tour destinationoffering, railway travel and cruise ticketing service, notification of new information or specialevent, delivery service, request for a self-programmed tour, adding more branches in otherlocations, and membership system. The next phase is to develop those 8 points of customer’srequirements to QFD’s technical requirements. From developing each issue, it is obtained 19 oftechnical requirements, and the 19 points themselves need to be ranked based on eachimportance relative value. All of the QFD technical requirements should be aligned along with the company’sbusiness strategy. The company wants to implement the strategic objective in the same way asthe most logical and relevant business idea of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).Based on the focused technical requirements, AirPhibi Tour & Travel is able to vary theofferings, the services, the promotional programs, the messages, and the media. All of them canbe represented by developing and consolidating the online communication and informationsharing aspects. As the company manages to execute an expansion strategy in the futurecompetition, thus the most relevant CRM concept to carry out straightforwardly is e-CRM. Thisconcept leads to an idea of designing a virtual community under the AirPhibi Tour & Travel’sonline development focus. The AirPhibi.org forum is designed as the instrument of company’s e-CRM, with the purpose of having good relationship with the customers, retaining the customer’sloyalty, plus potentially gaining new customers.

Abstract

The document is one of the outputs of an activity both individuals and organizations. With thepassage of time and the increasing activity of the resulting document will be many more. The resultingdocuments exist that are not confidential, but there is also a secret document in which those who do nothave the right authorization or permission is forbidden to access the document. The more secretdocuments to be protected, the more inefficient when any protected documents one by one. Hence theneed is being protected storage devices such documents, not the documents.TrueCrypt is a software that can be used to create an encrypted document storage device that canbe stored either in the hard disk or USB flash disk. Document storage device capacity can vary rangingfrom kilobytes (KB) to the units of gigabytes (GB). In addition, TrueCrypt can be mounted either on theMicrosoft Windows operating system, Mac OS X, and Linux. Encryption and decryption process fordocument storage devices will be done automatically before loading and storage process with no userintervention. Abstract

Mobile phonesareone of the productsthat usehightechnology. Thiscardwasonceextremelyrare andexpensivebecauseonlycertaincardsthat can beusedbymobile phone users,butnow manymobilephonecardsthatwe encounter inour liveswith avariety offacilities offered.This is becausemobile phone useis increasinglyrising. Due to the manyexistingcardproductswithcertain advantages,making consumersconfusedinchoosingthe cardto be used.Therefore, it is necessary to doresearch onthe faktorsintoconsideration inthe selection ofthe useofprepaidGSMcard.The method of analysis used is Analytical Hierarchy Process method. This method waschosen because it can be used as a comparison to get priorities in order to determine the bestGSM card later. Bardasarkan findings then some of the faktors that become the criteria forselecting the GSM card is the quality faktor with a weight of 0.49%, the price faktor to thepriority weighting faktor of 0.31% and promos with priority weighting of 19%, while supportingquality faktor is the quality cards, signal quality, coverage and quality. Because without anyquality or range of the signal, the use of prepaid GSM cards will not work even though the priceis cheaper and the rate offered more promo.

Abstract

As petroleum construction company with working area spread in the whole world, PT. XYZ is required to always innovate both in terms of technology and in terms of management of management. XYZ Company considers that the period of time in the movement of materials, inventory and assets as well as cost control is the key of price and quality provided to consumers. This thesis try to give suggestions for improvement are made based on analysis of the current situation and seek a reduction in the delivery period through transportation andlogistics operational needs of the company. Study using stage 1). Mapping the condition of the delivery process by utilizing the concept of value stream mapping. 2). Identification of waste (waste) 3). Analyze waste using 5 why, 4) root cause analysis. 4). Eliminating nonvalue added time in the shipping process on logistics. 5). Formulate proposed implementation strategy to provide good quality service to consumers.

Abstract

On a new core competency-based industries, mutual information is the main asset in thecompetitive value to the business processes of an industry. The medical industry uses theinformation as a critical factor in every aspect of perform a clinic or hospital management. Theinformation of knowledge should been packaged in a process that is known as knowledgemanagement. Bennefit knowledge management in the medical industry is to improve the quality ofthe medical officer. It aims to minimize the malpractice cases occurrence that often occurs due tolack of knowledge between medical officer. The lack of knowledge often occurs because of gap ofknowledge between the members of the medical officer. Application of knowledge managementsystems that really serves transfer of knowledge from senior medical officer for a new medicalofficer. Failure of any expert (senior medical officer) in making decisions at the time of medicaltreatment can also be minimized by the knowledge management system.
