Abstract

Conflict has been defined as the condition of objective of objective incompatibility between values or goal, as the behavior of delibertely interfering with another's goal achievement and emotionally in term of hostility. Conflict however can bring important benefit when it is handled skill fully. There are also some alternative solution in conflict management and finally conflict has some impact, like competency, work creatifity, and PTC.

Abstract

The result of research, found out that during the period of 1990- 1996, in every province in Indonesia, Human Development Index (HDI), Gender-Related Development Index (GDI), and Gender Empowerment Measure (GEM) are going up and Human Poverty Index (HPI) is down significantly and human development in Indonesia is getting better. There is a significant and linear correlation between human development performance profile and labor force productivity in Indonesia in 1996 and classified into moderatelly high correlation.Then the use of composite index like HDI, GDI, GEM, and HPI reflecting the complex reality is considered very important Evaluation for improvement and development is still required. Subsequent research revise and improve the methodology of composite index and its indicators.

Abstract

The unit analysis of this research is telecommunication company based on GSM, it finds that a customer that using telephone cellular based on GSM, indicated that they are changing from post paid to prepaid. So, it indicates that customer do not want to be known about their information privacy. And then the company need to build customer's trust with the element of trust that consist of perceived risk, credibility, past experience of company, reputation of company and perception of dependability. The Objective of this research is to know how elements of trust give information a context of relationship marketing on telecommunication explanatory influence the organizational trust in desired to for company as company based on GSM. This research survey method and the sampling use purposive sampling method. Correlation and regression SPSS 11.5 is used to get an accurate answer. The result of research indicated that good implementation elements of trust can make organizational trust better. So with that, customer doesn't mind if they have to give some information for company as implementation relationship marketing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between job stress instructors who are working in training center unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk with the types of personality, personal role's conflict and interest in education. The dependent variable of this study is job stress and independent variables are the types of personality, personal role's conflict and interest in education. This study was conducted in training centre unit of who are working in the unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk. They are holders of Tbk by carrying out a survey of 30 (thirty) instructors 30 educational disciplines who were selected randomly. Time period of this study was from Februedial correlation and i degrees from undergraduate studies (Strata-1) of various to March 2005 and data analyzed through simple regression multiple regressions. The research findings are as follows: (1). there is a positive correlation between tynoe correlation between personal role's conflict and job stress. (2). there is a positive Correlation between personal roles conflict and job stress, (3). but there is no significant correlation between interest in education and job stress. Furthermore, (4). there is positive correlation between types of personality and personal role's conflict towards job stress. in conclusion of this research that job stress instructors who are working in training center unit of PT. Bank ABC.Tbk can be affected by the types of personality and personal role's conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to acknowledge how much work stress level experienced by the non-star hotel employees and to analyze how the relationship between work stress factors which gave the largest contribution (dominant) to the non-star hotel employees satisfaction. The selected samples in the study consist of 37 local employees and 63 temporary employees from non-star hotel located in Jakarta, For local employees' sample, using senses method, while for temporary employees using proportioned stratified random sampling. To answer the purpose of this research we need to use the analyzes Rank-Superman methods. The hypotheses tested with Critical Ratio method. The veriable used is stress as independent variable which work consist from stress factors which developed by Hellriegel, Slocum, and Woodman, which career development, interpersonal relationship in the organization, and conflict between work and other roles. While dependent variable for this study is Job Descriptive Index. From this result of study data we conclude that The job level experienced by the employees of a non star hotel owned workload, job condition, role conflict, role ambiguity, me job by the government is low, which can be detected from the response of respondents against instruments of questions of work stress, where about 60,3 % respond are not in agreements. This research gave the same result with Robbins' theory which state that one of the stress impact psychologically can lower employees satisfaction. This study show that work stress relation/correlate resulted negatively to job satisfaction with the value Of r= 322 and level significant .001. From the analysis to the factor causing job stress and the relation to the work of the employee resulted in 2 factor causing stress which is work load and role conflict which is unsuccessful to show significant relation with employees jobsatisfaction. While other factors which is job condition, role ambiguity, career development, interpersonal relationship in the organization and conflict between work and other roles proven have significant relation for employees job satisfaction. The factor from most dominant job stress to employees job satisfaction is career development with the rate of = .1840 From the above conclusion, then we advise that company should be warned the work stress causing factors, high level work stress, since this work stress result can increase and decrease job satisfaction for the employees. It is advise that it must be looked on and reevaluate on the performance of employees career development. Since the responses from respondents showed that career development is the most dominant source of stress or biggest contribution in employees job satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to observe the people perception towards the capitalist economic system, syariah banking and syariah economic education.. 318 respondents mostley live in Jabotabek consists college students, academic, private employees, entrepreneurs, military of force, and public employees. This research was using the closed questionnaire technique which was distributed on September 25h to December 2005. This research showed that the people has rationalized the capitalist economic system and its danger, and also has rationalized thet the he oyanan economic system. They also expects the government to start considerate the changes of economic system from the capitalist to syariah system. So far, socialization has enough and less rationalized about the at many peopie are not aware of them have accounts on syariah bank and became customer not because they are Moslem. Most of them, 52.5% are still considering that banking interest perceived appropriate to Islamic law. Therefore, they concluded that the government and the department of national education have contributed only small portion in the Syariah economic development and desires the Syariah economic education to start on the early stage, which is from the elementary school.

Abstract

The study examines the electoral psychology of Indonesian voters during the presidential Election 2004 by applying consumer behavior theory. The focus of the research is to explore the effects of locus of control, perceived risk, voter decision involvement and voter satisfaction on voling stability. The results indicated that tocus of control influences perceived risk, then, perceived risk influences voter decision involvement. Nexl, voter decision involvementinfluences voter satisfaction, which in tun influences voting slability. This means that the propensity to vote for the same candidate in the next election is influenced by voters' psychological characteristics.

Abstract

This research observed Ihe influence of Motivation and Job Vision and Service Failure in the past towards the Enhancement of Service Quality on Eccnomic Faculy, Trisakti University, Jakarta. This research was implemented based on the previous research by Hays and Hill (2001). The research observes whether (motivation and employee's job vision and service failure in the past) individually and constinuously lowards service quality in the presentand also to observe whatsortof efforts thal could be implemented by Economics Faculty, Trisakti University, Jakarta in enhancing its service quality. Dala collecting was obtained by distributing questionnaire towards 380 students of Economic Faculy, Trisakti University, Jakarta on 3 (three) majors which are: Accounting, Management, Economics. Number of samples were determined by using Slovin formula, while the sample selecting was implemented by using convenience sampling technique. Data analysis method were used in this research was implemented through several test such as instrumenttest (validity and reliability), correlation test, determinant coefficient test, linear regression test, hypotheses tests (t-test and F-test) and also classical assumption test (multicolinerity, heteroskedacity, auto correlation tests). Software was used in processing data is program version 13. Hypotheses were used with the significance rate of 0.05 and the confidence level of 95% The result of the data analysis which was implemented by using several tests, showed that there is a significantinfluence of motivation and employee's job vision and service failure in the past towards the enhancement service quality in the present. The result showed that there is a significant influence between molivation and employee's job vision and servicefailure in the past continously lowards service quality in the present. In addition, in order to improve service quality in the environment, the writer has provided seven efforts that could be implemented by Economics Faculy, Trisakti University.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of loyalty to supervisor and job satisfaction and intent to stay. Loyalty to supervisor explained variance two outcomes variable over and above thatexplained by organizational commitment. The hypotheses were tested with a sample of 225 empłoyees in Trisakti University. The results indicate that loyally to supervisor is positively effected to job satisfaction but negatively effected to intent to stay. The results suggested that, in Trisakti Unlversity, the supervisor is an important factor influencing employee attitudes at work.

Abstract

“Perception is more important than reality” (Al Ries & jack Trout, 2003). This is the sentence that can give us explanalion why companies want to spend plenty of money for advertising and promotion. So do with Extra Joss that spent much money for their promotion. But there are some concepts that have to be done for making the spending usefull One of those concepts is positioning-the act designing of the companies o distinctive place in the mind of target market (Kotler, 2003). The main purpose of this study is to identifying positioning of Extra Joss among ils close competitor based on perception ofits consumer, specifically labor worker on Industrial Estate Pulogadung. There are also trhee major pupose of this study: 1. to identifying brand awareness of non-liquid energy drink, 2. to identifying determinant alribut of non-liquid energy drink, 3. to identifying positioning Extra Joss based on perception of its consumer. The tools of the analysis of this study are correspondence analysis thal can give us a picture of perceptual map where product and those atribut can be plotted together, Factor analysis and analysis of mean score are also used for analysis.
