Abstract

Can the use of social media which is currently a trend in the community, have an influence on improving employee performance? This is what makes the research carried out. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with AMOS version 23. The sample consisted of 102 people who were employees in various types of private companies in DKI Jakarta. The results showed that the more social media is used to communicate with colleagues in completing work, the more trust among employee increases. Also the more social media is used to communicate with colleagues in completing work, the more improves employee work performance. But trust can not influence performance of employee, and trust is not a variable that mediates between social media and employee performance.

Abstract

The research objective is to see the impact of knowledge management and talent management on employee performance mediated by employee development. The sample of research is 225 employees who work in the field of information technology in the Jakarta area. Data analysis method using Structural Equation Model. The study showed that knowledge management and talent management have an impact on employee  performance, the employee development variable is proven to be a mediation between knowledge management and employee performance, but the employee development variable cannot mediate between talent management and employee performance. Companies should provide knowledge management such as providing company web facilities as a place where employees can share their knowledge, and also develop talent management with training and development programs that will improve employee performance.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: Digitization in the Indonesian National Shipping Company requires employee creativity so it is necessary to know the extent of the role of transformational leadership. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity at the Indonesian National Shipping Company.  Background Problems: The demand for employee creativity is very high at this company engaged in ship transportation services because the use of technology and digitalization in the workplace environment is increasing to minimize physical contact when carrying out task activities. Therefore, the role of transformational leadership is needed in increasing employee creativity to generate innovative ideas and work behavior.  Novelty: Compared to previous studies, this study also examining perceived organizational support as a mediating variable of the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity. Research Methods: The data used in this study are primary data. 200 respondents were obtained from Indonesian National Shipping Company who became the sample. Analysis of the data used to test the hypothesis is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Finding/Results: Transformational leadership affects employee creativity and the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity can be mediated by perceived organizational support. In addition, the higher the employee's perception of perceived organizational support, the stronger the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity.  Conclusion: Leaders who motivate, inspire, have quirky ideas, are willing to listen, and leaders who encourage employees to develop can increase employee creativity. The more leaders care about employees' opinions, leaders care about employee welfare, leaders are consistent with procedural justice, and fairness according to employee performance, the perceived organizational support will improve which will then strengthen the effect of transformational leadership on employee creativity.

Abstract

The beginning of 2020 was a tough year for all citizens of the world, because the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which paralyzed all aspects of life. The death toll fell, the order of life changed and the macro and micro economy collapsed. This led to many changes to the governance system. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the sectors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though they are affected by COVID-19, MSMEs must continue to grow. This Community Service (PkM) aims to provide counseling about improving the performance of MSMEs through marketing strategies. The method of implementing PkM is carried out directly through a zoom meeting. The counseling participants were 23 MSME actors assisted by the Insan Palma Sejahtera Foundation in Palmerah - West Jakarta. The results of this counseling can provide knowledge and abilities to participants, and participants also get solutions to their product/service marketing problems during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results of the questionnaire on the effectiveness of counseling showed that 80% of participants stated that counseling could increase their knowledge and abilities; 80% of participants stated that they had knowledge about how to improve the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

Dalam usaha menumbuhkan inovasi dalam memproduksi barang dan jasa serta menumbuh kembangkan berbagai gagasan dan ide usaha baru bagi UMKM di era pandemi ini, diperlukan adanya  peningkatan kinerja. Salah satu hal yang dapat  mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah motivasi. Bagi pelaku usaha, salah satu yang tidak boleh luput perhatian adalah menjaga motivasi kerja karyawan. Hal ini sangat penting karena motivasi akan mempengaruhi kinerja, dan baik atau buruknya kinerja karyawan akan berimbas pada usaha yang dijalankannya. Bila motivasi kerja karyawan terjaga dengan baik maka perkembangan usaha bisa berjalan lancar.Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan peningkatan motivasi kerja. Tujuan penyuluhan adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang motivasi (intrinsik dan ekstrinsik), motivasi wirausaha, dan pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM).  PkM dilaksanakan dengan metode penyuluhan yang dilakukan secara online menggunakan aplikasi zoom. Penyuluh memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai motivasi kerja, serta dilaksanakan pula metode monitoring untuk mengetahui efektifitas penyuluhan.Hasil dari penyuluhan yang terlihat dari kuesioner efektifitas penyuluhan, dimana peserta menyatakan bahwa: 1). Materi yang disampaikan menarik, mudah dipahami dan dipraktekan, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan, serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan UMKM. 2). Peserta termotivasi untuk bekerja dan berusaha lebih giat lagi, peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang cara meningkatkan kinerja UMKM dan akan menerapkannya.Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja, Kreatifitas, Inovasi, UMKM

Abstract

Transaksi perdagangan online (e-commerce) di Indonesia memiliki masa depan cerah. Aktivitas jual beli secara online tersebut memang sedang naik daun dalam beberapa tahun belakangan. Marketplace adalah perantara antara penjual dan pembeli di dunia maya. Situs marketplace bertindak sebagai pihak ketiga dalam transaksi online dengan menyediakan tempat berjualan dan fasilitas pembayaran. Di sisi lain, online shop tidak memerlukan perantara. Penjual langsung menjual produknya di platform mandiri kepada pembeli. Jadi tidak ada perantara sama sekali. Berjualan melalui online shop menuntut untuk lebih mandiri. Sebelum pandemi Covid-19, pengusaha UMKM di Indonesia dihadapkan pada dua masalah serius yang harus ditangani bersamaan yaitu modal bisnis yang terbatas dan promosi yang belum efektif. Dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19, masalah yang terjadi pada pengusaha UMKM semakin perlu perhatian lagi bagi semua pihak. Tim penyuluh telah melakukan survei pada masyarakat di sekitar Kelurahan Palmerah di mana terdapat pengusaha UMKM binaan Yayasan Insan Palma Sejahtera. Metode penyampaian materi kepada para pengusaha UMKM adalah dengan diskusi menggunakan fasilitas zoom meeting. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengusaha UMKM dilakukan pelatihan strategi pemasaran iklan digital dengan membuat iklan digital yang lebih menarik. Hal ini diperlukan agar perkembangan bisnis dari pengusaha UMKM tersebut bisa lebih baik lagi terutama menghadapi pandemic covid-19. Tim selanjutnya akan memberikan pelatihan strategi human capital dalam proses pengambilan keputusan secara online sehingga para pengusaha tersebut dapat dengan mudah melakukan proses pengambilan keputusan walaupun secara online.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership, Compensation, Organizational Culture on Employee Performance mediated by Job Satisfaction. The data used in this study is primary data taken through the distribution of questionnaires using a purposive sampling method involving employees of the television industry in the MNC group as many as 200 respondents. The analytical tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS version 21. The results of this study found that Transformational Leadership, Compensation, Organizational Culture have an influence on Employee Performance and also on Job Satisfaction. In the next result, Job Satisfaction can mediate Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance, Compensation on Employee Performance and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance. From the results of this study, it is suggested to the manager to maintain the level of Employee Performance by increasing the leadership spirit and creating a healthy organization accompanied by employee welfare, so that employees will feel satisfied in carrying out their work.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of loyalty to supervisor and job satisfaction and intent to stay. Loyalty to supervisor explained variance two outcomes variable over and above thatexplained by organizational commitment. The hypotheses were tested with a sample of 225 empłoyees in Trisakti University. The results indicate that loyally to supervisor is positively effected to job satisfaction but negatively effected to intent to stay. The results suggested that, in Trisakti Unlversity, the supervisor is an important factor influencing employee attitudes at work.

Abstract

Pencatatan keuangan atau pembukuan merupakan hal penting yang harus ada pada sebuah usaha apabila ingin bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) dilakukan dengan metode pendidikan dan latih (pelatihan), yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan tentang cara pencatatan pembukuan dan pengelolaan keuangan bisnis agar usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) dapat cepat berkembang, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan akan berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan keluarga dan masyarakat.  Kegiatan monitoring dilakukan untuk mengetahui manfaat dari pelatihan dengan mengumpulkan informasi menggunakan kuesioner online yang tautannya disebarkan kepada peserta pelatihan. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah para pemilik usaha mikro yang mengikuti pelatihan tersebut masih banyak yang belum melakukan pencatatan keuangan (pembukuan), belum memahami cara menghitung return on investment, terlebih menggunakan aplikasi pembukuan. Dari survei online tersebut, diketahui efektivitas pelatihan yang menunjukkan bahwa, materi pelatihan yang disampaikan menarik, mudah dipahami, sesuai dengan topik yang dibicarakan, dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, serta kemampuan terkait dengan pembukuan. Hasil pelatihan diharapkan akan membuka wawasan dan pengetahuan, serta meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengelola keuangan bisnis dengan lebih baik, sehingga diharapkan berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan.

Abstract

Human Resources plays an important role in Government agencies. The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta is trying to improve the knowledge and talents of employees with budget funds allocated for training, development, and significant improvements in both the administration and service fields to maximize the performance of Civil Servants.Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of authentic leadership and work engagement on job performance, and High Performance Human Resource (HPHR) practices as variables that mediate the relationship between authentic leadership and work engagement on job performance.Methodology: The method used in this study is a quantitative method, using survey research with employees of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the object of research. Data collection which was used is the cross-sectional method by distributing questionnaires. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling method in order to obtain 205 respondents. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21 software. Results from the previous study were considered by adding work engagement variables in determining strategies to improve job performance.Findings: The results of this study provide information on authentic leadership participation, it will improve job performance and HPHR Practices, as well as increase an employee's attachment to work, also the more HPHR Practices and job performance will increase in the organization.Conclusion: Structuralists are expected to improve authentic leadership, especially from an internalized moral perspective, to produce ethical and transparent behavior. Civil servants need to increase work engagement, especially in the absorption aspect where employees need to concentrate fully when working in the office, develop deep interest, and willingness so that they feel bound to their work. To achieve this, a positive work environment is needed. As a result, employees feel comfortable, safe, and enthusiastic when working.
