Abstract

Consumers term divide in two sections, they are the consumer innovator and "the market maven". The former are eager buyers of new products ; the second are especially knowledgeable about shopping and buying. The present studyexamined the relationship between these two constructs as part of a nomological regression analysis. We used data from 150 consumer of buying new hand phone in Cempaka Mas Mall, Centre of Jakarta to test hypothesized relationship among scores on the market maven scale and a measure ofinnovativeness with opinion leadership. The analysis showed positive correlations among the measure, but there is clear evidence that the consumer innovator and market maven concepts are separate and distinct. The measure of consumer innovativeness predicted the behavioral criteria better than the market maven scale did. Both concepts may be important to manager development as they develop strategies fora new products.

Abstract

This research discovers correlation between income and the characteristic of the Lampu Merah (Traffic Light) traders and beggars. The 154 respondents which are spreading at the intersecion in Jakarta. The result shows that there is correlation between the characteristic of trader and beggar and income.

Abstract

A community is formed from feeling to be unity between partof agroup and goad relationship between them. Community tends to be identified as base on behavior or identification between parts of a group. The purpose of this research is to analyze how to build brand community at Toyota Corolla Club. SEM (Structural Equation Model) is used in this research using AMGS 4.0. Result of this research is the integration in community is a function of good relationship experienced by customers, brand, firm and another customer. Because of that, we suggest to supplier or sales manager to take part in build brand community in order to increase total revenue.

Abstract

Aliances between organizations have become an increasingly popular method of development. Dynamic markets, coupled with the increasing costs of doing business, have resulted in a significant increase in the use of strategic alliances. Firms in many industries must develop new capabilities in many areas, ranging from tecnologically development to manufacturing process, from plant economies to marketing and distributin, and they must do so quickly. Developing such competitive capabilities with limited resources is the core of strategic alliances, which allow firms to recast their competitive strategies in response to głobalization.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the determinants of capital structure on multinational companies in Indonesia. The data are collected from 11 multinational companies in Indonesia which are listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange and have been selected by using testing hypothesis method. The sample are classified base on firm size, industry type and ownership control. This research uses simple linear regression and multiple linear regressions as the analysis method. The statistic test find out that the independent variables, which are firm size and ownership control, have an influence on capital structure. However, industry type has no influence on capital structure. Another result from this research is firm size, industry type and ownership control have an influence on capital structure simultaneously.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to observe the relations of the LMX leadership model towards the organizational commitment, mediating by the organizational justice and job satisfaction.This research was used survey method, and the respondents are 100 school teachers from public and private high school in Jakarta, selected purposively. The measurement device of the research variable are: LMX leadership measured by the relationship quality, and organizational justice refers to Adam J stacy (1965), Job satisfaction measured using Minnesota Questionnaire and Organizational Commitment measured using Mowday 15 items instruments. All items measured using 5 points likert scale, Using Structural Equation Models was used to test the hypothesis support by Amos 4.01.This research found there is positive relationship between : Leadership towards Organizational Justice, Organizational Justice towards Job Satisfáction, COrganizational Justice towards Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction towards Orgnizational Commitment and statistically observe that there is no significant relationship Leadership towards Organizational Commitment.From this reality, showed that in LMX, leadership does not directly promote the organizational Commitment, Organizational Justice and Job Satisfaction should be created first, which are perceived as the outcomes of LMX .Therefore, Organizational Justice and Job Satisfaction existed as the intervening variable.Implications. To whom used LMX model in leadership, the leader have to create Job Satisfaction and Organizational Justice to show Organizational Commitment to his employe. Advisable to make some research to whom uşed ,Transformational model by respondent an employee who works in business field. From that research are Job Satisfaction and Organizational Justice in organization was still intervening variable.

Abstract

This Research conducted by using the data of 76 Bank Devisa Nasional, These banks report the data to the Central Bank relatively more complete than that of other banks and they have variative input- output structure. Bank Devisa Asing & Campuran are excluded from this study because it considered that the capital structure and fiancé of them are still closely related to headquater in overseas. The result of the study, Shours that before The economic crisis there are 45 banks which have relatively hight efficiency score (100%), and 27 Bank Devisa Nasional have efficiency score under 100%, After the economic crisis the efficiency score is declined, proved by the fact that only 27 Bank devisa Nasional which have 100 % score efficiency, and 42 Banks experianced. The 30 % declining efficiency score. While 22 banks remain stable. Nevertheles, 8 Banks increase efficiency score during The economic crisis, named BTN, Panin, Bira, SGP,,Namura, Hastin.. comparing the empirical result of this study by using DEA/Non parametric with the previous study/parametric by using the similar data, we come up with the conclusion that both approach yielded the relatively similar result. In the other word, this study support the previous research by Andreas Resti, Bergemo (1997).

Abstract

The influence of organizational ethics toward job satisfaction with Standardized Beta (à) is very high (= 0,856) and Adjusted R? = 0.732 and significant at level of significance 5%. It represents, that the contribution of organizational ethics toward job satisfaction on the private banks is 73,2 %. Among the three dimensions which form organizational ethics, the organization's ethical climate (â= 0,429) appears to be the biggest influence and the association between ethical behavior and career success (â= 0,376); and top management support for ethical behavior (a= 0,113) as the lowest influence.The managerial implication from this research is that the private banks' managers can give the more attention to every dimension above. Advises for the future researchers is to do another research that related to the human resource development, such as the link between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
