Abstract

To be a sustainable city, the New Urban Agenda (NUA) mandates that every resident must be served by GOS. The GOS provided must be close to the population and evenly distributed in each neighborhood. The neighborhood unit has around 120,000 inhabitants, namely the sub-district. Bekasi City plans in the RDTR to provide sub-district GOS such as a sub-district park and a public cemetery (TPU). The availability of public GOS in Bekasi City is currently 3.73% of the city area in 2019, which is still far from the standard requirement of about 20%. To overcome several problems related to public GOS, especially parks and TPUs, the Bekasi City Government created a program of 1,000 parks spread over 12 sub-districts and preparing TPU land every year. This study aims to examine the possibility of realizing the plan from the government based on the RDTR, land use, and land prices. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Analytical methods used spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and quantitative descriptive analysis. As a result, the sub-district parks realized about 61% and 39% unrealized, and TPUs about 57% realized and 43% unrealized. The possibility of realization, namely the government's ability, is likely big or small. The possibility of realization can be a direction for development like sub-district priorities based on distribution and quantity. To fulfill the distribution required high costs due to the high price of land. However, to fulfill the quantity, looking for sub-districts with large areas and big opportunities for realization.

Abstract

The Campus of Politecnico di Milano is divided into various "sections" that convey thisuniversity's different identity, which plays an active role in Città Studi. This thesis project investigates the space relationships resulting from the instauration of anew system acting as a multifunctional node. Through an analysis of the area and itsproblems, the project seeks to address them standing in continuity with the Campus andthe current previsions by Renzo Piano project; and yet wants to be an alternative to theplanned project by Politecnico for the new laboratories of Chemical Departments. Theproject explores the boundaries that would be developed through an "open-space andconstructed-space" system, organized according to road alignment, present, and pastones, and the possible doorsteps between them, making this area looking like a knotamong the "poles" of the Campus (Ampère-Leonardo-Golgi). We propose to createpooling places through a new Student House dedicated to different users and workplacesand the placement of a cultural complex, the Museo del Politecnico. Concerning leisuretime, a sports complex has been organized, intended in relationship with the Giurati area, accessible and enjoyable by a mixed variety of users. The primary purpose of this project isto create new places of identity and share them with society by using a series of livablethresholds placed on different levels, open spaces, and semi-open ones with other usages, which are put as an urban background fact.

Abstract

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 1995 concerning Corrections mandates that Correctional Facility be established in every Regency and City. Meanwhile, several works of literature state that Correctional Facility must meet the criteria, namely having a certain distance or far from densely populated settlements to reasons for the safety and comfort of residents. This research was conducted in settlements around Cipinang Correctional Facility, DKI Jakarta. Cipinang Correctional Facility was initially established in 1912, located on the outskirts of Jakarta and far from residential areas. However, the Correctional Facility is currently located in the middle of a dense settlement. This study aims to identify the perception of the people living in the vicinity of the existence of the Cipinang Correctional Facility in terms of security and comfort. The security variable indicators include insecurity and anxiety, while the variable comfort indicator is a sense of being disturbed by the activities and negative image of the Correctional Facility. The data was obtained through a questionnaire survey with Likert scale measurements and analyzed by the scoring method. The results showed that the people living around the Cipinang Correctional Facility had a good perception of the Cipinang Correctional Facility in terms of security and comfort aspects.

Abstract

Feasibility is a practical assessment by assessing the advantages and disadvantages possessed by a resource that is the object of the assessment, in this case, the beach tourism object. A beach tourism object is a place with an attractive value in a coastal area that functions as a place for recreation and land sports to visit. The area that became the unit of analysis in this study was 6 (six) beach tourism objects in Tambakrejo Village, Malang Regency. Tambakrejo Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, is a village that has the most beach tourism objects in Malang Regency. Malang Regency has the potential for coastal tourism that has not been managed optimally by the Malang Regency Government. The lack of budget for developing beach tourism objects in Malang Regency makes the condition of road access, supporting infrastructure, and facilities at beach tourism object inadequate. This study aimed to identify beach tourism objects' feasibility level in South Malang Regency. The method used in this study is the feasibility analysis of tourist objects and attractions using the scoring method. This study's results indicate that a feasible beach tourism object is Tamban Beach. Decent beach tourism objects are Sendiki Beach, Sendang Biru Beach, and Tiga Warna Beach, while Clungup Beach and Gatra Beach have a less feasible value

Abstract

The Botanic Park at Nava Park has an area of 10 hectares, consisting of green areas and open spaces for recreation and various uses, including 3.5 hectares of the artificial lake and a 15 km jogging track. However, a lack of green planning affects its attractiveness to visitors of the Botanic Park, and its existing visual potential has not been optimally utilized. This is apparent from the inexistence of outdoor activities facilities that could take advantage of this potential. The study aims to identify visual potential as the basis for developing the landscape of the Botanic Park. This study used a qualitative method with observation as the research instrument and a potential visual assessment using the Visual Resource Assessment Procedure (VRAP) and Master Plan Evaluation. Data analysis used interval classes, classified according to their visual qualities. The research findings were the visual quality of the landscape, classified into three zones of high, medium, and low visual qualities, which would help place facilities in further landscape development. The best macro visual qualities were found in the Meandering River Zone, with a score of 17, followed by the Serenity Lake Zone, with a score of 15. The lowest was in the Green Land/Wet Land Zone, with a score of 14. This study provided recommendations for managing the Botanic Park at Nava Park Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) in the form of a green landscape design as a visual attraction.

Abstract

The Tebet city forest, located in the Tebet Barat Village, South Jakarta, is a green open space and is one of the urban forests in the city of Jakarta. The Tebet City Forest as a means of recreation and education is still not functioning correctly, so it is necessary to evaluate the existing facilities in the Tebet City Forest to realize educational tourism. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the state of the facilities in the Tebet City Forest, to provide alternative educational facilities that are suitable to be placed in the Tebet City Forest and to realize a landscape design that makes the Tebet City Forest an urban forest that facilitates educational tourism. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method. Through this method, researchers collect data through primary data and secondary data. The variables of the Tebet urban forest are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results of this study indicate that facilities that can increase knowledge can be in the form of adding Indonesian plants, adding boards containing local names, Latin names, families, origins, and benefits for each tree, and providing community reading garden facilities. Facilities for protecting the environment include trash bins and signs for protecting the environment at every point of activity. Bus stops encourage people to use public transportation, provide bicycle rental and bicycle parking spaces, and provide open lawns and amphitheaters that can be used for various educational activities. Facilities that accommodate physical/physical activities include a children's playground, outdoor fitness, jogging track, multifunctional field, multifunctional plaza, amphitheater, and reflection area. It is necessary to develop and provide facilities that can support educational tourism. The results of this study can be implemented in a program that needs to be poured into the design of the site plan.
