<![CDATA[The design of this promotional video advertisement was made to introduce the company's products to potential buyers, find information about clothing products and typical Batam souvenirs, and can be a means of company promotion. The design is targeted to increase the buying interest of potential consumers. The design of a promotional video ad is based on a case study at Graha T-Obenk Premium Kaos Batam which is a 3 (three) month process. The object of the activities carried out is in the form of direct observations in the field to see the circumstances and situations that occur, how the marketing process has been done to consumers so far. From the conditions that occur in the field, we can see the lack of interest from potential consumers to offers in the form of catalogs in the form of brochures and books. The conclusions and suggestions in this promotional video advertisement are to increase the attractiveness of potential consumers in finding information about Batam souvenir products and also to increase company promotions.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal from this research is knowing number of needs worker in the service for student. There is three objective in this research. The research use work sampling with time study. Research input is all of service activites for student. With observe and make pie chart diagram we make a conclusion. The conclusion is service for student has a good job, they have 74% productive activities. The most activites is servicing the student and we don’t need additional worker. But we need to know standart time for the service next time and may be this research can be use for another case in the university.]]>

<![CDATA[The suitability of choosing study programs in higher education will have an impact on the quality of graduates who have competence. This study aims to analyze and design a decision support system that can be used as a reference in choosing a study program that suits students' abilities. Data was collected through the observation method, then the multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method was used to process several criteria, namely academic scores, ability test scores and language tests for several students who were going to continue their studies to college. The system is designed using the Simple Additive Weight (SAW) method. While the data processed is academic scores in the form of student report cards, MIPA ability tests (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and biology) and language tests (Indonesian and English). The results of the study indicate that the designed decision support system can produce information on the priority of study programs in accordance with students' abilities, so that it can be used as a basis for decision making in the selection of study programs.]]>

<![CDATA[PDAM XYZ is one of the Regional Owned Enterprises that is engaged in drinking water services, this of course consumers need employees who have the ability to communicate, honesty, cooperation, be alert in doing their jobs and accompanied by a work discipline attitude so that their performance becomes optimal. The company experienced several employee problems, namely employee discipline and performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method, namely by comparing facts and theories. the results of the research conducted, the direction of the regression coefficient of the work discipline variable affecting employee performance is 0.616 with a positive direction assuming other variables are constant. It can be concluded that the significance level of 5% work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and based on the results of hypothesis testing regarding performance employees, the results obtained that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance at PDAM XYZ.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to design a management system that can assist staff of SMP Ibnu Sina Batam in storing and collecting incoming and outgoing mail data online. Because there is no document management system related to correspondence storage, it is necessary to design a system. The object of this research is the admin and administrative staff of SMP Ibnu Sina, the modeling method used in the system is Unified Modeling Language (UML) while the system research development method uses Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD). The purpose of this research is to provide a solution in helping the Administration of SMP Ibnu Sina Batam in saving files online and numbering letters automatically and helping admins in doing their jobs so that they can complete their work properly and can store data safely. The data collection method used is by conducting interviews and collecting various sources, namely library research, observation. The conclusion in this study is that it is hoped that this system can be implemented by admins and other employees to facilitate performance.]]>

<![CDATA[Halal customers want services that can bring their own satisfaction so that customers can return to using these services. Basically, customer satisfaction lies in the quality of service. Lean service is used for an approach that makes a service system optimal and effective. Problems in the service process that occur in halal certification services. In the halal certification process, there is still a waste of time which causes long queue waiting times. The concept of working to reduce the waste of waiting time is the lean service method. The tools used to solve problems using value stream mapping. In this study, the waiting time for the value stream mapping current state was 36537 minutes, while the value stream mapping future state processing time was 9980 minutes. There is a time reduction of 56.56%.]]>
