Abstract

The general rise in prices of goods and services that occurs in a country is called inflation, an economic phenomenon. Its impact on economic growth can vary depending on its level and stability. Controlled inflation is often considered a sign of economic health as increased demand for goods and services drives economic activity, investment and increased wealth. Conversely, runaway inflation or hyperinflation can undermine confidence in the domestic currency, reduce consumer purchasing power and weaken economic growth. In addition, inflation also has a major effect on investment and savings. High inflation lowers the real value of savings, makes saving less attractive, and encourages short-term consumption. This can reduce resources for long-term investment needed for sustainable growth. Uncertainty due to uncontrolled inflation can discourage companies from making new investments or expanding business, leading to economic stagnation. Therefore, maintaining a stable and predictable inflation rate is a key challenge for economic policies supporting long-term growth.

Abstract

Family is the smallest social unit in society which is able to provide the basic foundation for children's physical, emotional, social and moral development, as well as covering other more fundamental aspects, such as identity formation and providing emotional support. Family is the first place where children learn about love, security, trust, and how to resolve conflicts. However, the role of the family in individual formation does not always run smoothly. Social, economic and cultural changes around them can influence family dynamics. The quality of interpersonal communication influences children in responding to challenges, managing emotions, and building social relationships with other people outside the family sphere. This paper aims to examine in more depth the role and influence of interpersonal communication in the family on the formation of children's mental health. By understanding these dynamics, it is hoped that effective strategies can be found to improve the quality of communication within the family, so that it can support children's growth and development optimally, both physically and mentally.

Abstract

The competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises through the process of registering a brand can be defined as their ability to improve their competitive position in the market by utilizing the strength of an officially registered brand identity. A registered brand provides legal protection, increases the added value of the product, builds consumer trust, and opens up opportunities to expand a larger market. By having a registered brand, micro, small and medium enterprises can differentiate themselves from competitors, build customer loyalty, and increase bargaining power in business negotiations, which ultimately contributes to increasing overall competitiveness in an increasingly competitive business environment. The research method used in this study uses a literature study. The research findings show that registering a brand has a positive effect on the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises. Some of the benefits obtained include: Increased product added value, Legal protection of intellectual property rights, Increased consumer trust, Ease of expanding the market and Increased bargaining power in business negotiations. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by micro, small and medium enterprises in the process of registering a brand, such as: Lack of understanding of the importance of brands, Limited access to information and registration procedures, Costs that are considered quite high by some micro, small and medium enterprises and Relatively long processing time. Abstract

Financial literacy plays an important role in shaping the financial behavior of households in Indonesia. Households with higher levels of financial literacy tend to have better financial planning, manage their budgets regularly, and are better prepared for economic shocks. Conversely, households with low financial literacy often experience difficulties in managing finances, get trapped in excessive debt, and lack emergency funds and long-term investments. Efforts to improve the financial literacy of Indonesians have been made through various education and socialization programs by the government, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations. However, challenges remain in reaching all levels of society, especially in rural areas and low-income groups. Further research is needed to identify effective financial education methods in accordance with the socio-cultural characteristics of the Indonesian people. In addition, strengthening regulations and consumer protection are also needed to create a financial ecosystem that supports increased financial literacy and inclusion. With increased financial literacy, it is expected that households in Indonesia can make wiser financial decisions, improve welfare, and contribute to national economic stability.

Abstract

Community service that focuses on optimising the potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in villages is a strategic step to improve the welfare and living standards of local communities. This activity begins with the identification of the potential and constraints faced by MSMEs in the area, followed by a comprehensive analysis that helps map out the most relevant interventions. This approach includes skills training, access to capital, and more effective and efficient marketing of products. The active involvement of local communities in MSME development increases the sense of ownership and responsibility for the sustainability of the programme. Collaboration with the government, educational institutions and the private sector is also crucial to provide holistic support. Various forms of concrete support, such as training, technical assistance, and development of marketing networks, are expected to bring positive impacts to small businesses in villages. In this digital era, the utilisation of information technology is key in expanding market reach and improving operational efficiency of rural MSMEs. The implementation of e-commerce and digital marketing allows MSMEs to access a wider market and market their products nationally and internationally. In addition, technology also provides easier access to important information and resources that can support business development. The success and sustainability of this strategy depends on regular evaluation and the ability to adapt the programme based on the results. Continuous programme adjustments ensure that the strategy remains relevant and effective in the face of changing conditions on the ground. Thus, optimising the potential of MSMEs in the village is expected to have a sustainable positive impact, not only for the business actors, but also for the village economy as a whole.

Abstract

Improving the village economy through socialisation and mentoring of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a strategic approach that has proven to be effective and sustainable. Hence, the importance of socialisation as a tool to provide an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship to village communities. Through this comprehensive education, local communities can understand the benefits and techniques of starting and growing a business, which in turn, can improve their standard of living. More than just providing basic knowledge, socialisation fosters passion and confidence, which are often barriers to starting a business. Village MSME mentoring offers ongoing support in various aspects of business such as technical operations, management, marketing, and access to resources. With the right mentoring, village MSMEs can utilise technology, improve product quality, and implement effective marketing strategies. Mentors also assist in long-term business strategy planning, financial management, as well as building a wider market network including e-commerce. All of these contribute to improving the competitiveness of village MSMEs at the local, regional and national levels. In conclusion, socialisation and mentoring of MSMEs is a very effective instrument to drive the village economy. Proper education and ongoing support allow village MSMEs to thrive, thereby contributing significantly to the local economy. This not only improves individual welfare but also strengthens the village economy as a whole, making it more independent and resilient in the face of economic challenges. Investing in MSME socialisation and mentoring is a strategic move with positive long-term impacts, creating more prosperous and highly competitive villages.

Abstract

The halalness of a product in the current era can determine the income and profits of a product being sold. In a business context, providing halal food and drinks can attract regular, responsive customers, not only Muslims but also non-Muslims. Through the SEHATI program created by the government through the Ministry of Religion, business actors benefit greatly, because it makes it easier to obtain halal certification for their products. This writing is motivated by the fact that there are still UMKM products in Tonjongsari Cikalong Tasikmalaya Village that have not been certified. The approach used is qualitative research with an observation survey method. Socialization and mentoring activities were carried out by the STIS As-Sa'adah Sukasari Sumedang KKN Team. The activities carried out go through four stages, namely: social reflection, participatory planning, program implementation and evaluation. As a result of this activity, fish cracker and banana chip products received halal certificates.
