Istoria: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun, setiap bulan April dan September yang berisi hasil penelitian (lapangan atau studi pustaka) kajian teoretis maupun kajian kritis. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu media publikasi bagi penelitian dengan kajian terkini dalam bidang sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah yang meliputi ranah sejarah dan pembelajaran sejarah itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian sejarah teoritis dan kritis mencakup sejarah dunia, sejarah Indonesia, dan sejarah lokal sedangkan pada bidang pendidikan sejarah mencakup strategi pembelajaran sejarah, metode pembelajaran sejarah, evaluasi pembelajaran sejarah, dan hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sejarah.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan guru dalam pembelajaran daring di SMA DB 3 KOTA JAMBI tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskritif. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan memberchek. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) pada proses pembelajaran daring guru di SMA DB 3 KOTA JAMBI  sudah berjalan dengan baik karena guru memberikan tugas dan materi dengan memanfaatkan media android melalui aplikasi WA grup kelas (2) pada proses pembelajaran daring guru mengalami kesulitan pertama, berkaitan dengan kompetensi guru, kedua, perbedaan pemahaman peserta didik, ketiga, siswa yang keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana.Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Daring, Kesulitan Guru AbstractThe purpose of this research is to determine the difficulties of teachers in online learning at SMA DB 3 KOTA JAMBI in the academic year 2020/2021. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The collection techniques used in this study were interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Checking the validity of the data using memberchek. The results of this study conclude that (1) the online learning process of teachers at SMA DB 3 KOTA JAMBI has been going well because the teacher provides assignments and materials using android media through the class group WA application (2) in the online learning process the teacher experiences the first difficulty, related to teacher competence, second, differences in the understanding of students, third, students who have limited facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Online Learning, Teacher Difficulties

Abstract

AbstractThe Santa Teresia Jambi Parish Church experienced cultural acculturation and inclusion as outlined in the church building, among others: walls, pillars, roofs, towers and ornaments supporting other worship activities, then the development of the Church of Santa Teresia during the period 1935-2011 can be seen the appearance of church buildings, number of congregations and activities carried out in the church. The church is located on Jalan Raden Mataher, so it can be concluded that the diversity of cultures and building forms of the Catholic Church is not a place of worship but also can do social activities or others. Keywords:Socio-Culture, History, Church of Santa Teresia Jambi. AbstrakGereja Paroki Santa Teresia Jambi mengalami Akulturasi dan inkukturasi budaya yang dituangkan pada bangunan gereja antara lain: dinding, tiang, penyangga, atap, menara dan ornament-ornamen penunjang kegiatan peribadatan lainnya, selanjutnya perkembangan Gereja Paroki Santa Teresia selama priode 1935-2011 dapat dilihat dari penampilan bangunan gereja, jumlah jemaat maupun kegiatan yang dilakukan di gereja. Gereja yang terletak di Jalan Raden Mataher, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keragaman budaya dan bentuk bangunan Gereja Katolik  bukan sebagai tempat peribadatan tetapi juga bias melakukan kegiatan sosial yang ataupun yang lain. Kata Kunci: Sosial Budaya, Sejarah, Gereja Santa Teresia Jambi.

Abstract

AbstracThis study aims to describe Inang-inang economy activities at Angso Duo Market of Jambi from the emergence to the effects of economic life of the perpetrators, especially from the acquisition of income earned. The research method used is historical method, covering the stages of Heuristik, Source Critique, Interpretation, and Historiography. The approach used is a theoretical approach that is multidisciplinary by applying other social sciences concepts such as economics and sociology. The results showed that the economic activities act of Inang-inang as traders at Angso Duo Market of Jambi. Although only a trader, but this profession still remains to be one of the livehood options for those who are involved in working on it. Abstract

AbstractCoffee is a beverage produced from steeping coffee beans that have been roasted and mashed into powder, coffee is one of the world's commodities which is cultivated in more than 50 countries. Two varieties of coffee trees that are generally known are Robusta Coffee (Coffeacanephora) and Arabica Coffee (Coffea Arabica). More than 90% of Indonesia's Arabica coffee is developed by several companies including AAA Coffee Powder typical of the City of Jambi. The history of CV. Nefo Cap AAA for the period 1966-2010 can be substantially categorized in economic history, The big problem of economic history focuses on two things namely; first, overall economic growth over time and the factors that determine that growth. Second, the distribution of income in the economy is for the direction of growth or decline. To see the role of entrepreneurs in economic growth can refer to Schumpoter's theory which explains that the main actors of economic growth are due to entrepreneurs who are not only entrepreneurs or managers, but someone who is willing to accept risks and introduce products and technology to the community. In Jambi AAA coffee is a coffee that is in great demand and is even used as a souvenir when a relative or friend visits Jambi. This AAA coffee is produced by CV Nefo AAA whose director is named Hidayat. This CV was founded in 1965 and has continued to grow until now. The existence of this company is opening up new jobs, prospering workers and motivating other entrepreneurs. Abstract

Abstract          The problems that occur in SMA N 8 Jambi City in learning history are less interesting and the lack of media that supports the history learning process. The formulation of the problem in this study how to develop pop up media in history lessons in SMA N 8 Jambi City. The purpose of this study was to explain the development of pop up media in history lessons at SMA N 8 Jambi City.          This research is a research and development (R & D) which adopts the steps of media development according to Lee And Owens. The sequence of steps in the process is systematically arranged and each step of development has a clearly arranged sequence of development steps. The research and development procedure in the Lee & Owens model consists of five stages, namely (1) assessment / analysis (assessment / analysis) which includes needs analysis and front-end analysis, (2) design ( design), (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation.          The results of the research and development of the Pop Up history learning media in the first stage of the quality of the learning media on average had a good percentage value, in the second stage the presentation was very good, in the third stage the presentation was very good, so the average media presentation was very good. In the assessment of the expert team consisting of media and material experts from the media experts themselves, not much was improved, only needed to add a few items in the media and material, the media was also worth testing. In the trial phase I for presentation, the score was 5.4, it was good, in the trial phase II the value of 6.0 was classified as very good and at the third stage of the 16.2 trial it was very good.          The conclusion of the research and development of Pop Up based learning history media in class XI IPS SMA N 8 Jambi City consists of five steps in accordance with the steps of media development according to Lee And Owens. The media is classified as Very Good based on the achievement of the quality of the media and the achievements of the expert team.Keywords: Research and Development, Pop Up Learning Media AbstrakPermasalahan yang terjadi di SMA N 8 Kota Jambi dalam pembelajaran sejarah kurang menarik dan kurangnya media yang mendukung proses pembelajaran sejarah. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini bagaimana pengembangan media pop up dalam pelajaran sejarah di SMA N 8 Kota Jambi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengembangan media pop up dalam pelajaran sejarah di SMA N 8 Kota Jambi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mengadopsi langkah-langkah pengembangan media menurut dari Lee And Owens urutan langkah dalam prosesnya tersusun secara sistematis dan setiap langkah pengembangan memiliki urutan langkah pengembangan yang tersusun jelas. Prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan dalam model Lee & Owens terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu (1) penilaian/analisis (assessment/analysis) yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan (need assessment) dan analisis awal akhir (front-end analysis), (2) desain (design), (3) pengembangan (development), (4) implementasi (implementation), dan (5) evaluasi (evaluation).Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran sejarah Pop Up pada tahap pertama kualitas media pembelajaran rata-rata presentase nilai terbilang Baik, pada tahap kedua presentasi tebilang Sangat Baik, pada tahap ketiga presentasi terbilang Sangat Baik, sehingga rata-rata presentasi media tergolong Sangat Baik. Pada penilaian tim ahli yang terdiri  dari ahli media dan materi dari ahli media sendiri tidak banyak yang diperbaiki hanya perlu menambah beberpa item di media dan materi, media pun layak untuk diuji cobakan. Pada tahap uji coba I untuk presentasi nilai 5,4 tergolong Baik, pada tahap uji coba II presentasi nilai 6,0 tergolong Sangat Baik dan pada tahap uji coba yang ke III 16,2 tergolong Sangat Baik.Kesimpulan dari penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran sejarah berbasis Pop Up di kelas XI IPS SMA N 8 Kota Jambi terdiri dari lima langkah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah pengembangan media menurut Lee And Owens. Abstract

The proclamation of Indonesian independence on August 17, 1945 by Sukarno-Hatta on behalf of the Indonesian people. So, since then Indonesia has become an independent and sovereign country. However, Indonesia's independence was not recognized by the Dutch who considered it a rebellion. The Indonesian people who have felt the suffering and torture by the colonizers do not want it to happen again. The spirit of the struggle to maintain independence was carried out in various regions, including by the people of Jambi who also came forward to participate and take part in actively fighting against the efforts made by the invaders. One of the influential figures in the Jambi area was Syamsu Bahrun, a fighter from the Sarolangun area. Born in 1905 in Pangidaran Village, Pauh District, Sarolangun Regency. Syamsu Bahrun is a figure who is able to give encouragement in defending independence. Syamsu Bahrun is a fighter who is steadfast in principles and beliefs, always putting the interests of the community and nation above his personal interests. Syamsu Bahrun's goal is to realize Indonesia as a sovereign and independent nation. Syamsu Bahrun is a firm person, he is a figure of a freedom fighter who really loves the Jambi Region.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the picture, the influence and the comparison between the use of the learning model of scramble and the probing promting on the result of student learning of class IX on IPS subjects in SMP Negeri 6 Kota Jambi. The research design used is quantitative research with quasi experimental method. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of the acquisition of student learning outcomes by using the model of learning scramble and probing promting. Where, student learning outcomes using probing promting learning model is superior because students feel more challenged and courageous and confident to express their own opinions based on their own assumptions. Keyword : Learning Model, Scramble, Probing Promting, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThis study to determine the origin of Malay Arab ethnicity and its role in the development of Islam in Jambi City in the early XX century. The study uses historical methods which have several stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study provide information that most of the ethnic Arabs who settled in the city of Jambi originated from the Hadramaut region in the Southern Arab States, while the role of Malay ethnic groups in the development of Islam in the city of Jambi was quite large starting from the entry of Islam in Jambi brought by Akhmad Salim in the century XV continued by Tuanku Keramat Tambak (Sayyid Husein Baragbah) and continued by Muhammad Syufi Bafadhal. The efforts of ethnic Arabs in the development of Islam in the city of Jambi in the early XX century were carried out by the most respected figures, Sayyid Idrus Hasan Al Jufri (Prince Wiro Kesumo) and Prof. Sheikh HMO Bafadhal, who carried out construction of places of worship (mosques), school construction (schools) Madrasa), proselytizing as well as being scholars.Keywords: Ethnic Arabic, Role, Jambi City. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asal usul etnis arab melayu serta perannya dalam pengembangan Islam di Kota Jambi pada awal abad XX. Penelitian menggunakan metode sejarah yang memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian memberikan keterangan bahwa sebagian besar etnis Arab yang menetap di Kota Jambi berasal dari daerah Hadramaut di Negara Arab bagian Selatan, Sementara peran etnis Arab melayu dalam pengembangan Islam di Kota Jambi cukup besar dimulai dari masuknya Islam di Jambi yang dibawa oleh Akhmad Salim pada abad XV dilanjutkan oleh Tuanku Keramat Tambak (Sayyid Husein Baragbah) dan dilanjutkan Muhammad Syufi Bafadhal. Usaha-usaha etnis Arab dalam pengembangan Islam di Kota Jambi di awal abad XX dilakukan oleh tokoh yang paling terpandang yaitu Sayyid Idrus Hasan Al Jufri (Pangeran Wiro Kesumo) dan Prof Syekh HMO Bafadhal, mereka melakukan Pembangunan tempat peribadatan (Masjid), pembangunan sekolah (Madrasah), da’wah serta sampai menjadi para ulama.Kata Kunci : Etnis Arab, Peran, Kota Jambi.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is designed to produce learning media products namely E-book and apply it to history lessons class X TBG 2 SMK Negeri 4 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is ADDIE developed by Lee and owen which has five stages, namely; 1) analysis,2) design,3) development,4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. At the implenration stage researchers adopted the martin tessmen model. The research was conducted at SMKN 4 Jambi city with the research subjects of grade X TBG 2 students who numbered 2 people for individual trials, 10 people for small group trials, and 34 people in the beasr group trials. From the results of field trials obtained individual trial results, the average score of 81.6 % belongs to the good category. Small Group trial results average score of 83.2 % fall into the good category. Field test results average score of 90.69% fall into the excellent categoryKeyword: E-Book, Instructional, The entry of Hindu Buddhism into Indonesia AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujaun untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran yaitu E-book dan menerapkannya pada pelajaran sejarah kelas X TBG 2 SMK Negeri 4  Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Lee and owen yang memiliki lima tahap yaitu; 1) analisis,2) desain,3) pengembangan,4) implementasi, dan 5) evaluasi. Pada tahap implenrasi peneliti mengadopsi model martin tessmen. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKN 4 Kota Jambi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X TBG 2 yang berjumlah 2 orang untuk uji coba perorangan, 10 orang untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 34 orang pada uji coba kelompok beasr. Dari hasil uji coba lapangan didapatkan hasil uji coba perorangan, jumlah skor rata-rata 81,6 % termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji coba Small  Groupjumlah skor rata-rata 83,2 % termasuk dalam kategori baik. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Probing-Prompting terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah, (2) Apakah ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar Sejarah pada siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaraan Probing-Prompting.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 195 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, sehingga terpilih 36 orang siswa kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas Kontrol dan 36 orang siswa kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas Eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menyebarkan soal kepada responden penelitian serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah Uji t dengan menggunakan program SPSS for Windows Version 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing-Prompting memperoleh rata-rata hitung (mean) adalah 69,86 (2) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Ceramah memperoleh rata-rata hitung (mean) adalah 60,42 dan (3) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing-Prompting lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis Ceramah dengan nilai 0,000>0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang peneliti peroleh, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran Probing-Prompting terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah di kelas X SMA Negeri 9 TanjungJabung Timur.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Probing Prompting, Hasil Belajar AbstractThis study aims to determine (1) Is there an effect of the Probing-Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in History subjects, (2) Is there a difference in the average learning outcomes of History in students whose learning uses the Probing-Prompting learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The total population in this study was 195 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, so that 36 students of class X IPA 1 were selected as the control class and 36 students of class X IPA 2 were selected as the experimental class. The technique of collecting data in this research is by distributing questions to research respondents and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study was the t-test using the SPSS for Windows Version 16 program. The results showed that (1) student learning outcomes in the History subject taught using the Probing-Prompting learning model obtained the arithmetic mean (mean) was 69.86 (2) Student learning outcomes in History subjects taught using the Lecture learning model obtained an average count (mean) of 60.42 and (3) Student learning outcomes in History subjects taught using the Probing learning model -Prompting is higher than student learning outcomes in History subjects taught using the Lecture-based learning model with a value of 0.000> 0.05. Based on the results of the research that the researchers obtained, it can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of the Probing-Prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in History subjects in class X SMA Negeri 9 Tanjung Jabung Timur.Keywords: Probing Prompting Learning, Learning Outcomes
