Istoria: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun, setiap bulan April dan September yang berisi hasil penelitian (lapangan atau studi pustaka) kajian teoretis maupun kajian kritis. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu media publikasi bagi penelitian dengan kajian terkini dalam bidang sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah yang meliputi ranah sejarah dan pembelajaran sejarah itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian sejarah teoritis dan kritis mencakup sejarah dunia, sejarah Indonesia, dan sejarah lokal sedangkan pada bidang pendidikan sejarah mencakup strategi pembelajaran sejarah, metode pembelajaran sejarah, evaluasi pembelajaran sejarah, dan hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sejarah.

Abstract

AbstracIn the research, the writing aims to explain the movement of youth / students and the dynamics of mass organizations of the national student front of Jambi region 2003-2015. The research method used is historical method which includes heuristic stages, source critic, interpretation and historiography. In this study using the theory of social movements, which can take a collective approach to social movements. Especially the youth / student movement, such as the National Student Front. The results of this study indicate that, FMN organization itself was founded by the student actors in jambi, who have different organizational background as well. Like, students from the organization (PMII, HMI and MPRJ). In the development of FMN organization plays a role in various aspects, so as to increase the role of youth / students and other sectors of society. It can be seen from the development of FMN in Jambi starting from the establishment of FMN in 2003 until 2015. Like, the number of FMN cadres who have now become alumni, who took the role to plunge the community and government. Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of the family environment on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students in class history at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the primary data source is student questionnaires, while the secondary data source is documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out which has been poured into the discussion in each of the previous chapters, it can be concluded that the role of the family in the learning of class XI IPS $ SMA Negeri Jambi City can be known based on the results of the questionnaire, namely. In the indicator of the role of parents on students' learning motivation, the percentage of 61.71% is included in the "Enough" category. Furthermore, the indicator of parental attention to student learning gets a percentage of 67.43% belonging to the "Enough" category. In the next indicator regarding parental discipline towards student learning, the percentage of 70.37% is also included in the "Enough" category. And lastly, the indicator of parents' character on student learning gets a percentage of 68.76% which is included in the "Enough" category. So from all of these indicators, an average of 67.06% is included in the "Enough" category.

Abstract

Abstract               One of the economic material is about economic cooperation between countries. The standard function of the educational process as a tool to achieve educational goals, one indicator of success in implementing the learning process. The achievement of learning outcomes is influenced by various factors. One of the factors is the social studies learning process of class IX, especially in class IX C of Tanjung Jabung Timur Junior High School 21 which is still unable to achieve the learning outcomes to be achieved. The conditions that occur at Tanjung Jabung Timur Junior High School 21 in class IX C reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 77, only 29% of 34 students, this condition is caused by students not being able to reach the learning process, due to the lack of teachers developing a rudimentary learning process. Therefore the research problem is formulated as follows; is "Is the use of problem-based learning strategies able to improve the learning outcomes of social studies learning material for International Trade in class IX C students at SMP 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur?".               This study aims to find out whether the use of problem-based learning strategies can improve the learning outcomes of social studies learning material for International Trade class IX C students at SMP 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur ?.               The method and technique of research using PTK, where the PTK setting is a class, with the research subjects amounting to 34 students of Tanjung Jabung Timur Junior High School 21. The variables studied included learning outcomes that were successfully achieved by students after a learning scenario for 2 (two) cycles was carried out consisting of 4 (four), namely: planning, implementation, observation and analysis, and analysis and reflection. Data about student learning outcomes are collected by the test method. Furthermore, the data were analyzed descriptively. Data analysis generally uses percentage techniques.               The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an increase in student learning outcomes from an average value of 70.15 with 45% classical learning completeness in cycle I to an average value of 80.00 with 85% classical learning completeness in cycle II. Therefore the hypothesis of the proposed action can be accepted.Keywords: Improving learning outcomes, problem-based learning strategies, social studies learning. AbstrakSalah satu materi ekonomi adalah tentang kerja sama ekonomi antarnegara. Fungsi standar proses pendidikan sebagai alat untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan, salah satu indikator dari keberhasilan dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Ketercapaian hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Salah satu faktor yaitu proses pembelajaran IPS kelas IX, khususnya di kelas IX C SMPN 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur yang masih belum bisa mencapai hasil belajar yang ingin dicapai. Kondisi yang terjadi di SMPN 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur pada kelas IX C mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 77 hanya 29% dari 34 orang siswa, kondisi tersebut disebabkan peserta didik belum bisa mencapai proses pembelajaran, dikarenakan lemahnya guru mengembangkan proses pembelajaran yang seadanya. Oleh karena itu masalah penelitian dirumuskan sebagai berikut; adalah “Apakah pengggunaan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pembelajaran IPS materi Perdagangan Internasional siswa kelas IX C di SMPN 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur?”.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengggunaan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pembelajaran IPS materi Perdagangan Internasional siswa kelas IX C di SMPN 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur?.Metode dan teknik penelitian menggunakan PTK, dimana setting PTK ini adalah kelas, dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik SMPN 21 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi hasil belajar yang berhasil dicapai peserta didik setelah dilaksanakan skenario pembelajaran selama 2 (dua) siklus terdiri dari 4 (empat), yaitu: perencanaan, implementasi, observasi dan analisis, serta analisis dan refleksi. Data tentang hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes. Selanjutnya data dianalisis secara  deskriptif. Analisis data pada umumnya menggunakan teknik prosentase.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari nilai rata-rata 70,15 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 45% pada siklus I menjadi nilai rata-rata 80,00 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 85% pada siklus II. Oleh karena itu hipotesis tindakan yang diajukan dapat diterima.Kata kunci: Meningkatkan hasil belajar, strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

This research and development was taken from the problems that occurred in SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi where the learning was monotonous and less varied so that students felt bored quickly and their attention was quickly distracted by other things. Learning media can be an alternative in solving problems that occur in schools. This study aims to produce a learning media product, namely Monopoly Game which applies the elements of playing and learning into one in class X history lessons at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. The research model used in this study is ADDIE developed by Lee and Owen which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi with the research subjects of Class X students, totaling 4 people for individual trials, 14 people for small group trials, and 30 for large group trials. From the results of the field trials, the results of individual trials were obtained with an average score of 72% in the "good" category, Small Group trial results with an average score of 75% in the good category, Field Group trial results with an average score the percentage of 81 with the "very good" category for learning this monopoly game can be applied in history learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to (1) find out the factors that influence changes in traditional house architecture in Muara Madras Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District, and (2) determine the dynamics of changes that occur in traditional houses in Muara Madras Village, Jangkat District, Merangin District. The research method used is the historical method including the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The sources used in the form of literature studies, documents, archives and interviews. The house is a place to live, live, eat, sleep, indulge as well as chatting with family. The community of Muara Madras Village as time goes by always adjusts the situation around them. For example home. When family members have increased, the family renovates the house so that it can always be with the family. These changes are also in line with the community's economy that has developed so that to rebuild or just renovate people's homes do not need to wait a long time. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah adalah metode sejarah meliputi tahapan heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Sumber yang digunakan berupa studi literatur, dokumen, arsip serta wawancara. Rumah merupakan tempat untuk tinggal, hidup, makan, tidur, beraktifitas serta bercengkrama dengan keluarga. Masyarakat Desa Muara Madras seiring berputarnya waktu selalu menyesuaikan keadaan di sekitar mereka. Contohnya rumah. Ketika anggota keluarga sudah bertambah maka keluarga tersebut merenovasi rumah agar selalu dapat bercengkrama dengan keluarga. Perubahan tersebut juga seiring dengan ekonomi masyarakat yang sudah berkembang sehingga untuk membengun atau hanya sekedar merenovasi rumah masyarakat tidak perlu menunggu waktu yang lama. Tanpa disadari oleh masyarakat bahwa arsitektur rumah masyarakat sudah berububah sering waktu yang telah berganti.Kata kunci: Perubahan Arsitektur

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara penanaman nasionalisme melalui mata kuliah PPKN di Perguruan Tinggi. Indonesia sebagai negara bangsa tidak dapat menghindari tantangan globalisasi, tapi dengan mengikuti Pancasila sebagai prinsip-prinsip, Indonesia akan mampu mempertahankan eksistensi dan identitas.Penelitian inimenggunakan penelitiandeskriptif kualitatif dimaksudkanuntuk mengukurdengan cermatfenomenasosial tertentu,Analisa menggunakan data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing. Hasil dari penelitian adalah  bahwa mempertahankan semangat nasionalisme di benak generasi muda sejak kecil akan membuat mereka lebih tahan terhadap pengaruh negatif dan dekadensi moral merajalela di era globalisasi. Dengan demikian, untuk memperkuat moralitas dan etika melalui PPKN dapat dilakukan dengan penugasan mahasiswa yang berhubungan dengan nasiolisme di kalangan pemuda, memberikan penugasan puisi kepada mahasiswa tentang kepahlawanan, membuat mading untuk memperkuat nasionalisme, membuat pertunjukan dengan tema-tema perjuangan, menonton video- video kepahlawanan.Kata Kunci: Nasionalisme, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan AbstractThis research aims to find out how to embed nationalism through PPKN courses in higher education. Indonesia as a nation state cannot avoid the challenges of globalization, but by following Pancasila as principles, Indonesia will be able to maintain existence and identity. This research uses descriptive qualitative research intended to carefully measure certain social phenomena, analysis using data reduction, display data, conclusion drawing. The result of the research is that maintaining the spirit of nationalism in the minds of the younger generation since childhood will make them more resistant to negative influences and moral decadentism in the era of globalization. Thus, to strengthen morality and ethics through PPKN can be done by assigning students related to nationalism among youth, giving poetry assignments to students about heroism, making mading to strengthen nationalism, making performances with themes of struggle, watching videos of heroism.Keyword : Nationalism, Citizenship Education

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan aktivitas penyadap karet di Desa Kebon IX khususnya sektor perkebunan karet yang telah lama ditekuni. Keberadaan perkebunan karet di Desa Kebon IX sudah sejak lama ditekuni oleh sebagian besar masyarakat sekitar, selain menjadi petani karet sebagian besar masyarakatnya adalah para penyadap yang bekerja harian. Komoditas ini menjadi  penompang utama kehidupan para buruh sadap yang ada di Desa Kebon IX untuk mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga, baik itu kebutuhan perekonomian maupun kebutuhan pendidikan anak. Buruh merupakan orang yang bekerja untuk orang lain yang mempunyai suatu usaha kemudian mendapatkan upah atau imbalan sesuai dengan kesepakatan sebelumnya. Upah biasanya diberikan secara mingguan maupun bulanan tergantung dari hasil kesepakatan yang telah disetujui. Perkebunan karet yang ada di Desa Kebon IX merupakan salah satu usaha perkebunan yang dapat mensejahterakan kehidupan petani dan para buruh masyarakat sekitar Desa Kebon IX. Meskipun penghasilan yang diperoleh para buruh tidak begitu banyak, namun dengan penghasilan itulah mereka dapat mencukupi kebutuhan hidup keluarganya sehari-hari bahkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan sekunder seperti pembelian Sepeda motor dan alat-alat elektronik lainnya. Keberadaan perkebunan karet di Desa Kebon IX sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan perekonomian para buruh penyadap karet, kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari dapat tercukupi, pendidikan anak terbayarkan, dan kebutuhan sekunder lainnyapun terpenuhi.Kata Kunci : Buruh, kebun karet, desa kebon IX  AbstractThis study uses historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The purpose of this study is to explain the activities of rubber tappers in Kebon IX Village, especially the rubber plantation sector which has been occupied for a long time. The existence of rubber plantations in Kebon IX Village has long been occupied by most of the surrounding communities, apart from being rubber farmers, most of the people are tappers who work daily. This commodity is the main support for the lives of tap workers in Kebon IX Village to meet the needs of their families, both economic needs and children's educational needs. Workers are people who work for other people who have a business and then get wages or rewards in accordance with the previous agreement. Wages are usually given on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the agreed results. The rubber plantation in Kebon IX Village is one of the plantation businesses that can prosper the lives of farmers and community workers around Kebon IX Village. Although the income earned by the workers is not that much, but with this income they can meet the daily needs of their families and even fulfill secondary needs such as buying motorbikes and other electronic equipment. The existence of rubber plantations in Kebon IX Village greatly affects the economic life of the rubber tapper workers, their daily needs can be fulfilled, children's education is paid for, and other secondary needs are met.Keywords: Labor, rubber plantation, village garden IX

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the history and life of the Balinese people in Nibung sub-district from 1986-2019. The research method used is the historical method. Historical sources used in the form of documentation, observation, and interviews. Analysis of research studies using social science disciplines with the approach of sociology or anthropology. With these two approaches, the researcher multiplies as much information as possible from the informant and from the available documentation data to get results relevant to the discussion. This research is more focused on the period between 1986 and 2019 with the hope that it can provide a picture of the life of the Balinese people in the Nibung sub-district of the Muratara district which is a minority among the people of Nibung in general who have experienced many changes. From good social relations, it turns out that it affects changes in the life of the Balinese people in Nibung sub-district and these changes cannot be separated from internal and external factors. With the environmental conditions that are in the midst of Muslims making influence including the Balinese people began to embrace Islam through marriage in addition to the change in dialect, clothing and livelihoods due to adjustments to the situation.Keywords: Trasmigation, culture, Balinese community life in Nibung sub-district. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah serta kehidupan masyarakat bali di kecamatan Nibung dari tahun 1986-2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode sejarah. Sumber sejarah yang digunakan berupa dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis terhadap kajian penelitian menggunakan disiplin ilmu sosial dengan pendekatan ilmu sosiologi atau antropologi. Dengan kedua pendekatan tersebut peneliti mengali informasi sebanyak-banyaknya dari informan dan dari data dokumentasi yang ada guna mendapatkan hasil yang relevan dengan pembahasan. Penelitian ini lebih difokuskan pada kurun waktu antara 1986 hingga tahun 2019 dengan harapan dapat memberikan gambaran Kehidupan masyarakat bali di kecamatan Nibung kabupaten muratara yang merupakan masyarakat minoritas dikalangan masyarakat Nibung pada umumnya yang sudah banyak mengalami perubahan. Dari hubungan sosial yang baik ternyata mempengaruhi perubahan kehidupan masyarakat bali di kecamatan Nibung dan perubahan tersebut tidak lepas dari faktok intern dan ekstern. Dengan keadaan lingkungan yang berada ditengah-tengah umat muslim membuat terpengaruh diantaranya yaitu masyarakat bali mulai menganut agama Islam melalui perkawinan selain itu adanya perubahan logat bahasa, pakaian dan mata pencarian karena penyesuaian keadaan.Kata Kunci : Trasmigrasi, Kehidupan Masyarakat Bali di Kecamatan Nibung.

Abstract

AbstractIn 1970-1999 the development of gold mining in Indonesia was influenced by the centralistic New Order government's economic policies including the gold mining sector. In 1970 the community in Kecamatan Limun still did the gold mining with the traditional model. In the year 2000 mining model undergoing change and development, people doing gold mining using machine. The impact of mining activities on environmental, social, economic and political damage. The government as the policy owner issues a policy, which ultimately leads to conflict. Abstract

AbstractThis research is a historical research with the theme of culture which examines cultural elements from an empirical point of view rather than a normative one. As for what is being researched is about the cultural elements of the Anak Dalam Tribe in Bungku Village, Bajubang District. The purpose of this study is to explain the dynamics of the cultural life patterns of the Inner Children in Bungku Village, Bajubang District and to describe the existence of the Inner Child Tribe culture to the flow of change. The historical method used in this research includes several stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The findings of research in the field from different Anak Dalam Tribe in Bajubang District, especially in Bungku Village, illustrate that there have been many changes in culture, this is because they do not want to be confused with the Orang Rimba in Bukit Dua Belas. called the Orang Rimba. They are more comfortable with being called the Suku Anak Dalam.Keywords: Culture, Tribe of Inner Children, Bungku Village AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah bertemakan kebudayaan yang mengkaji unsur-unsur budaya dari sudut empiris bukan dari segi normatif. Adapun yang diteliti adalah tentang unsur-unsur kebudayaan dari Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Bungku Kecamatan Bajubang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan dinamika pola kehidupan kebudayaan Suku Anak Dalam di Desa Bungku Kecamatan Bajubang dan mendeskripsikan eksistensi budaya Suku Anak Dalam terhadap arus perubahan. Metode sejarah digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Temuan hasil penelitian di lapangan dari Suku Anak Dalam yang berbeda di Kecamatan Bajubang khususnya di Desa Bungku memberikan gambaran bahwa sudah mengalami banyak perubahan dalam kebudayaan, hal demikian di karenakan mereka tidak ingin disamakan dengan Orang Rimba yang ada di Bukit Dua Belas bahkan mereka juga tidak mau disebut dengan sebutan Orang Rimba. Mereka lebih nyaman dengan sebutan Suku Anak Dalam.Kata Kunci : Kebudayaan, Suku Anak Dalam, Desa Bungku
