Abstract

This study examines the relationship between risk disclosure in annual reports and a company's default risk through a qualitative literature review approach. Clear and transparent risk disclosure in annual reports can reduce market uncertainty and enhance the perception of the company's financial stability. Through the analysis of various previous studies, it was found that comprehensive risk disclosure can lower borrowing costs, improve the company's credibility, and reduce the potential for financial failure. However, external factors such as market conditions and company policies still play an important role in influencing default risk. This research provides insights that although risk disclosure is effective in managing default risk, other factors must be considered in the analysis of predicting corporate financial failure.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of job restrictions on employees with limited career options and the challenges faced by companies in addressing these issues. Using a qualitative literature review, the study found that job restrictions, such as non-compete agreements, can negatively impact employees with limited career options. These impacts include reduced job mobility, career stagnation, and lower income. However, companies can mitigate these effects by implementing fair and transparent policies and providing adequate support to employees. This research highlights the need for balancing corporate resource protection with employee career development to maintain long-term productivity and organizational sustainability.

Abstract

This study analyzes the recruitment and selection system for drivers at PT Banyumas Raya Transportasi. The focus of this research is to identify weaknesses in the existing system and formulate strategic recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with primary data obtained through interviews with the HRGA division and secondary data from company documents and relevant literature. The findings indicate a high turnover rate and inefficiencies in the recruitment methods, which still rely heavily on traditional approaches such as social media and bulletin boards. To address these issues, this study recommends implementing a digital recruitment system, diversifying recruitment methods, and adopting competency-based selection processes to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness. The results of this research are expected to assist the company in developing a more sustainable and competitive workforce.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of payment gateways, financial literacy, and digitalization on the financial performance of MSME actors in Brebes Regency, especially Mitra Mandiri MSMEs. MSMEs have a significant role in Indonesia's economy, but they still face various challenges, especially in the aspects of financial technology and digital literacy. Payment gateways enable faster and safer transactions, while financial literacy supports better cash flow management and financial planning. Digitalization also plays a role in improving operational efficiency. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to 51 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed by multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study show that payment gateways and financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs. Payment gateways improve transaction efficiency and expand market access, while financial literacy helps in better financial management. However, digitalization does not have a significant influence on financial performance, showing that the implementation of digital technology still faces obstacles in the adoption and optimal utilization by MSME actors. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing the use of payment gateways and financial literacy education for MSME actors to improve their financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the menu and food services in attracting customers at Arsa Coffee & Library, a coffee shop that also functions as a reading space. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with customers and management, as well as direct observation of the service process and the menu variety offered. The findings show that unique and high-quality menu options, along with friendly and efficient service, play a significant role in attracting customers to visit this coffee shop. Furthermore, a comfortable atmosphere and food services tailored to customer preferences enhance the overall experience, which in turn strengthens customer loyalty. The study concludes that an innovative menu and optimal service are crucial factors in improving customer appeal and satisfaction at Arsa Coffee & Library.

Abstract

Competition in business is something that is often found in society, business competition between Muslim entrepreneurs in Mentaro Island villages on average sells the same products, it's just that the sales methods are different, some entrepreneurs experience a decrease in income and some experience an increase. Islamic business ethics are part of Muslim entrepreneurs in carrying out their business activities. Therefore, this thesis aims: 1. To find out business product competition between fashion entrepreneurs in Mentaro Island village. 2. To find out the services of entrepreneurs in implementing good Islamic business ethics. The research method used is a qualitative method. Qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people from observed behavior. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation.The research results show 1. Business product competition between Muslim fashion entrepreneurs includes product competition, strategy, service and Islamic competition. Honesty, openness and good behavior. 2. Entrepreneur services in implementing good Islamic business ethics include Amanah, tabligh and Shiddiq. It is hoped that the results of this research will be useful for increasing knowledge, insight and input for all fashion entrepreneurs so that they can understand the application of Islamic business ethics in business competition.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and test the influence of PDAM service quality, PDAM tariff and PDAM payment place on PDAM payment receipts. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The type of data in the form is primary data with questionnaires. The study population is PDAM customers in Brebes Regency. The determination of the number of samples in this study with the Slovin formula obtained 98 responses. The respondents' answer data was tested with validity and reliability tests. It is then tested with a classical assumption test. The data analysis technique was carried out by multiple regression test The results of the study showed that the quality of PDAM services partially affected the receipt of PDAM payments obtained a sig value = 0.000 < 0.05. Partially, the PDAM tariff affects the receipt of PDAM payments, obtaining a sig value = 0.000 < 0.05. Partially, the place where PDAM payments affect the receipt of PDAM payments obtained a sig value = 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the quality of PDAM services, PDAM tariffs and PDAM payment places affect PDAM payment receipts.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the largest sources of income in many developed and developing countries, especially in Indonesia. Tarabunga Village, which is in Toba Regency, North Sumatra, currently does not seem to receive optimal attention. This research was conducted to analyze the tourism potential of the Tarabunga Tourism Village using qualitative research methods with parameters that can be measured from the 6A theory (attractions, activities, accessibility, amenities, additional services and available tour packages), then using observation, interviews, and other techniques. and questionnaires, as well as using SWOT analysis techniques to answer the strategy for developing the tourism potential of Tarabunga Tourism Village.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is very important for the continuation of a business because customer satisfaction can influence customer perspectives on products and services. The phenomenon that occurred in this study was a decrease in the market share of starbucks products in 2021-2023. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of innovation, promotion, product quality, price and service quality on customer satisfaction. This research was conducted on consumers of starbucks products in the Indonesian region. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to respondents using google form. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26. The sample in this study were 97 respondents. The sampling technique used probability sampling with accidental sampling method. The results of this study explain that 1) innovation has a positive effect on customer satisfaction 2) promotion has a positive effect on customer satisfaction 3) product quality has no effect on customer satisfaction 4) price has a positive effect on customer satisfaction 5) service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Ideal number of children is the number of children desired by couple of childbearing age who are able to be cared for and given a decent life. The higher the responsibility for the child's value, the higher the encouragement to plan the ideal number of children. This study aims to analyze the views of couples of childbearing age in determining the ideal number of children in Kuta District both simultaneously and partially. The data in this study uses primary data obtained from interviews with 98 respondents who were used as research samples and secondary data in this study, namely data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in Kuta District totaling 6.427 people. The results of the study show that based on data on economic conditions, cost of living, education level and socio-cultural level have a simultaneous effect on the ideal number of children in Kuta District. Economic conditions partially have a positive and significant effect on the number of ideal children in Kuta District. The cost of living, education level and socio-cultural level partially have a negative and significant effect on the ideal number of children in Kuta District. The sociocultural variable acts as a moderating variable that weakens the influence of education level on the ideal number of children in Kuta District. The results of this study provide implications for the importance of integration between education and local socio-cultural values in making rational decisions about the number of children.
