The massive tendency of Generation Z activities on social media should be thought as opportunities for interaction from the education segment. Intake of educational content based on character education is not only in conventionally implemented that can touch the Generation Z, but also in the whole process of learning including the learning media. The purpose of this paper is to offer alternative learning media in the form of educational videos that are interesting, sticky, and creative for students through the contemporary platform, such as TikTok. TikTok application comes with a popular trend that the majority of users are Generation Z. Based on its features that support to produce interesting audio and video learning, it can streamline the learning process. The interesting and entertaining learning nuance of this application is useful for essential and abstract concepts such as Newton's laws to create an interactive learning process in accordance with the characteristics of students.

The spread of COVID-19 outbreaks makes learning activities in Indonesia become online learning. Online learning is followed by new problems, those are limited internet data, bad internet networks, and the use of many applications. Online learning in Indonesia must be immediately optimized because the COVID-19 outbreak is not over yet and there is a discourse that online learning will be applied permanently. The teacher can optimize online learning by building a website as an online classroom. If teachers build their websites, they can adjust the features on the website based on the online learning problems and the subject matter needs. Based on a questionnaire distributed, 83% of student respondents agreed if the teacher made a website. Besides, most of teacher respondents think the website can optimize online learning. The idea of the website as an online classroom is expected to contribute ideas and alternatives for online learning programs in Indonesia.

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a learning method based on the process between learning material to real life problems. The method has been widely applied and shown positive results on different subjects and education levels. In this paper, we discuss the application of PBL in mathematics education on several high schools in South East Asia countries, which include Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, considering that all of the countries had close cultural and geographical aspects. Researches on the application of PBL showed overall positive results to the high school mathematics education in all of the observed countries, with similar and distinctive objective and outcomes were found. In Indonesia, the application of PBL in mathematics education improve student’s learning activities aside from its positive contribution to the learning outcomes, while in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, PBL contributes to the improvement of students’ higher-order thinking skills.

Scientific motivation and creativity are important components that must be developed in learning physics. Some research has been done to develop motivation and scientific creativity but still experience obstacles in the form of a lack of learning modules that can be used as a guide for students in independent learning. The author offers flip book innovations on the principles of the Maglev train on electromagnetic induction material to foster learning motivation and scientific creativity. This flip book consists of material and test instruments. The material covers the history of the Maglev train, parts of the Maglev train, the principles of the Maglev train, each of which is analyzed by Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematic. The results of this study are obtaining flip books on the subject of class XII electromagnetic induction to foster learning motivation and scientific creativity.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant influence of the Rigorous Mathematical Thinking (RMT) learning approach to the conceptual understanding of students of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang grade VIII on the concept of the Two Variable Linear Equation System. This is motivated by the difficulty of students in understanding the subject matter because it is considered difficult so that the resulting understanding of students' mathematical concepts is low. This type of research is quasi experimental research (quasi experiment). The research design used was a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Kupang, selecting samples using a purposive sampling technique. Retrieval of data using the instrument test item description and observation sheet. Samples are given a pre-test, the results are to test homogeneity. From the results, both have homogeneous variance. After the treatment of both samples were given a post-test, the results are to test the research hypothesis. Based on the prerequisite test, the sample is normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. Based on the initial ability test, there was no difference in the average pre-test values of the two samples. The results of the study by using a hypothesis test that is a two-way ANOVA test showed a significance value of 0.784> 0.05 so it can be concluded that there was no difference in students' conceptual understanding based on the sex of students of SMP N 5 Kupang.

Archaeological objects are historical relics that have important values for human life. But not every student can see and feel the atmosphere of ancient objects, because they have long been extinct or maintained their existence. The introduction of ancient objects through the media in the form of images contained in books, two-dimensional drawings and other teaching aids, this is considered ineffective because two-dimensional picture can only be seen on one side only, but by using 3D Hologram technology it is expected that in learning it can make historical lessons about ancient objects can be more interesting and enjoyable as well as helping in introducing efforts to conserve ancient objects. The results of this research are expected to be able to provide 3D Hologram technology by utilizing the principles of holographic work that is able to provide convenience for student by their own gadget.

In this globalization era learning systems or learning media must be adapted to the times, therefore teachers or educators are required to be able to make a technological innovation in teaching and learning activities, it aims to make the material and learning well delivered to students. Seeing the current conditions many students are shackled by the sophistication of the virtual world that can be seen from the active students on social media, as well as playing games. So that not a few of those who forget the obligation to learn and become a serious problem for the world of education in the future. This research is expected to make students interested in learning by using game media, because they look at the development and progress of the era in the current era, many students who take advantage of their time or use their free time to play games via Android or computer. Therefore, with this educational game students can play while learning, which of course contains material that is in accordance with KI KD in the curriculum and as a parameter for students to understand the material being taught.

Physics is one of the subjects in high school taught by educators. However, in learning physical concepts are not only theoretically studied but in experiments or practicum. However, not all learning of physics concepts uses practice or experiment. This happens due to lack of facilities, time, and the low ability of teachers in making tools. Therefore the writer makes physics practice tools as learning tools and media namely Melde. The purpose of this discussion is as a medium of learning stationary wave material. The test results of making a melde tool on a stationary wave material are that the wave propagation speed on a rope depends on the length and weight of the load, the load mass relationship and the wave propagation speed are proportionally sincere, and the greater the load the greater the faster the propagation. Based on the results of testing the making of medle tool on stationary wave material it is suitable for use as a learning medium in schools.

This research focused on describing communication pattern between mother and her young child in awe-awe doer family. The study held in Kalibaru Manis village in Banyuwangi regency, Indonesia, with descriptive qualitative methodology. There’re three mothers participated as informants, all of them are awe-awe doer and likely to bring their children when working on the street. The result shows that there are protective communication pattern in mother-young children relationship, with varied level of controlling behaviour and disciplinary techniques used in the family that depend on the importance of discipline and level of the mother’s confidence to assert discipline to the children. When awe-awe is not the main income of the family, the mother does not put much control on their children about it. Awe-awe then become unique opportunities for the children to decide for themselves.

Popular scientific books are books that adhere to scientific standards and are displayed in common language and attractive layouts so that the public is more interested in reading them Starfish (Asteroidea) is an animal that plays an important role in the coastal environment, namely as the bioindicator of the water's contamination. One of the pristine waters of the beach and has a high enough biological richness is Gili Ketapang, Probolinggo beach. This research aims to determine the level of diversity of Asteroidea in Gili Ketapang beach, Probolinggo. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with the method of Transect plotting. The results of this study found 2 types of Asteroidea with a total of 100 individuals. Asteroidea is found in 1 family, 1 genus and 2 types of Asteroideans. The type of Asteroidea is a family of Archasteridae, a genus of Archaster and the type of Archaster typicus and Archaster angulatus. The value of the diversity index of Asteroidea in Gili Beach Ketapang Regency of Probolinggo is 1.323
