Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to various aspects of human life, including the field of Islamic education. The implementation of AI in educational governance offers substantial opportunities for administrative efficiency, personalized learning, and data-driven decision-making optimization. However, the dominance of technology also poses serious challenges, including the decline of humanistic dimensions, spirituality, empathy, and interpersonal relationships within the educational process. This study aims to reconstruct human-centered Islamic education management as a response to the dominance of Artificial Intelligence. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through the analysis of scientific journals, books, and academic documents related to Islamic education management, human-centered education, and Artificial Intelligence. The findings reveal that the reconstruction of human-centered Islamic education management should be developed through five main aspects: strengthening spiritual leadership, integrating technological ethics, revitalizing the culture of empathy in learning, reinforcing tawhid values in educational governance, and developing a collaborative educational system based on humanistic technology. This study confirms that AI cannot replace the humanistic role of teachers and spiritual values in Islamic education. Therefore, the human-centered approach becomes an essential foundation for maintaining balance between technological advancement and the objectives of Islamic education oriented toward the formation of insan kamil. Abstract

This study reconstructs the meaning of female sexuality in QS. Yusuf verses 23–32 through a feminist epistemological reading of the Zulaikha narrative. Classical Qur'anic exegesis has predominantly framed Zulaikha as a morally deficient seductress, reproducing patriarchal stereotypes that reduce women to passive objects of male desire while obscuring the socio-cultural and power structures shaping her actions. Employing a qualitative library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach grounded in feminist epistemology (standpoint, empiricism, and postmodernism), this study analyzes classical and contemporary tafsir works alongside gender studies literature. The findings demonstrate that Zulaikha cannot be positioned solely as a transgressor; rather, her actions must be read within the context of an asymmetrical marital relation marked by sexual deprivation, verbal neglect, and structural patriarchal domination by al-Aziz. The novelty of this study lies in proposing an integrated reading framework that combines feminist epistemology with classical tafsir, repositioning female sexuality in the Qur'an not as taboo but as part of human nature regulated ethically and spiritually. This reinterpretation contributes to the development of gender-just Qur'anic exegesis relevant to contemporary discourse on women, agency, and religious authority.

Abstract

This study aims to construct Qur'anic Cyber Ethics in the era of Society 5.0 as a preventive framework against the privacy crisis triggered by widespread data breaches and digital information misuse in Indonesia. Indonesia ranks among Southeast Asian countries with the highest data leakage rates, with approximately 156.8 million digital user accounts compromised between 2004 and 2024. This phenomenon reflects not only a technological problem but also an ethical and moral one, requiring a value-based response that complements existing techno-legal approaches. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic Qur'anic textual analysis (mawdu'i), supported by document analysis of empirical data on data breach cases in Indonesia. The data sources consist of Qur'anic verses on amanah (QS. Al-Ahzab: 72) and tabayyun (QS. Al-Hujurat: 6), classical and contemporary tafsir works including Tafsir Al-Azhar, Tafsir Al-Mishbah, and Fi Zilal Al-Qur'an, alongside contemporary studies on digital privacy. The results of the study show that Qur'anic Cyber Ethics integrates two core principles: Digital Amanah, defined as the responsibility to safeguard data, identity, and trust; and Digital Tabayyun, understood as the obligation to verify and clarify information before dissemination. The novelty of this study lies in operationalizing these principles through the formation of a DATE community (Digital Amanah and Tabayyun Ethics) and three actionable guidelines: making digital amanah a personal identity, applying digital tabayyun before sharing, and reviving Qur'anic digital education. As the main contribution, this framework offers a faith-based ethical alternative that strengthens existing legal and technical approaches to addressing the privacy crisis, particularly in Muslim-majority societies undergoing rapid digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze vegetable product marketing strategies through online media in the Apitaik area and to identify the differences between digital and traditional marketing patterns. Along with the rapid development of information technology, farmers in Apitaik have gradually shifted from dependence on middlemen to direct sales to consumers through digital platforms. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving farmers and consumers in Apitaik. The findings indicate that the use of simple social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook is the most effective strategy due to their ease of operation and low cost. The main strategies implemented include the use of honest visual content, fast response services, and the application of the “Pick-and-Deliver” shipping method to maintain product freshness. Significant differences were found in the broader market reach, price transparency, and shorter distribution chain within the online system compared to the more rigid traditional system. The study concludes that the digitalization of marketing has independently increased farmers’ income and encouraged intergenerational collaboration in rural areas, although logistical challenges and limited digital literacy remain major obstacles that require attention from the government and local communities.

Abstract

This research aims to critically analyze Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas's thoughts on the Islamization of science and explore its relevance in the transformation of Islamic education in the modern era. Departing from the dominance of Western epistemology with secular, materialistic, and reductionistic patterns, al-Attas offers the concept of Islamization of science as an effort to reconstruct epistemology based on the principles of monotheism, adab, and spiritual responsibility. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method enriched with philosophical-hermeneutic analysis and critical discourse analysis of al-Attas' main works and relevant contemporary literature. The results of the study show that the concept of Islamization of al-Attas science is not only normative, but has profound epistemological implications in building an integrative knowledge system between revelation and ratio. However, the study also found that the concept faces implementable challenges in the context of modern science based on empiricism. Therefore, this study offers an integrative model of Islamization of knowledge based on the Indonesian educational context that combines the principles of adab with a transformative curriculum approach. The contribution of this research lies in strengthening the theoretical framework of Islamization of science that is more operational and contextual, so that it is relevant for the development of contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the ALI Level 1 Pra Tilawah method in improving the tahsin ability of beginner santri at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Al-Islami Sungai Lilin, Musi Banyuasin. Prior to this study, tahsin learning at the institution relied on the Ummi method, which proved insufficiently adaptive to the heterogeneous baseline abilities of beginner students, resulting in persistent recitation errors particularly in makhraj al-huruf and sifat al-huruf. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through non-participatory observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Trustworthiness was ensured through source and technique triangulation as well as member checking. The findings reveal three principal outcomes: first, the ALI Level 1 Pra Tilawah method was implemented systematically through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages centered on talaqqi-based phonetic drills and direct corrective feedback; second, supporting factors included institutional commitment, instructor qualification, and student motivation, while the primary inhibiting factors were learner heterogeneity and time constraints; third, the method produced measurable improvements in students' makhraj accuracy, sifat al-huruf awareness, and overall recitation quality. These findings suggest that the ALI Level 1 Pra Tilawah method offers an effective and replicable pedagogical framework for foundational Qur'anic tahsin instruction in pesantren settings.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of digital platforms in Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) learning at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi, Indonesia. Although PAI learning at this institution had begun incorporating digital platforms including Google Classroom, WhatsApp Group, and YouTube no systematic investigation had examined the processes, effectiveness, or mediating factors of this implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data were collected through passive participatory observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, students, and school administrators, and documentation analysis. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while trustworthiness was established through source, technique, and time triangulation, as well as member checking. The findings reveal three principal outcomes: (1) digital platforms were implemented through a systematic three-stage framework planning, implementation, and evaluation utilizing a blended learning model that combined synchronous and asynchronous modalities; (2) the primary supporting factors included institutional commitment, teacher digital competence, and student motivation, whereas internet infrastructure inequality, variable digital literacy, and digital distraction constituted the principal inhibiting factors; and (3) digital platform utilization produced meaningful improvements across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes, with the most consistent gains observed in the cognitive domain. These findings suggest that effective digital PAI instruction requires a theoretically grounded balance between technological innovation and the preservation of PAI's irreplaceable spiritual and relational pedagogical dimensions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of tourism on local culture in Misool Island, Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua. Misool is an area with very high natural and cultural tourism potential, but it also faces challenges in preserving the authenticity of local culture amidst the growth of the tourism industry. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a systematic literature review with thematic analysis, conducted by examining various academic sources, government reports, and relevant previous research findings. Thematic analysis is used to identify, group, and interpret the main themes related to the impact of tourism on local culture. The research results indicate that tourism provides positive impacts in the form of increased cultural preservation awareness and community welfare but also has the potential to cause cultural commodification and social change if not managed sustainably. This research emphasizes the importance of community-based tourism management, conservation, and sustainability so that the balance between economic, cultural, and environmental aspects can be maintained.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cultural communication strategies used by teachers in shaping the characters of cageur, bageur, and pinter among high school students in Cianjur Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method in a public high school that integrates Sundanese cultural values into its character education program. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, school leaders, and students, classroom and school cultural activity observations, and documentation studies of character education programs and policies. The findings indicate that teachers apply cultural communication strategies through role modeling, the use of Sundanese language and local expressions, culturally relevant narratives aligned with students’ lives, and dialogic and participatory communication in the classroom. These strategies are strengthened by school culture and regional policies that emphasize the philosophies of cageur, bageur, pinter, and Pancawaluya. This facilitates the internalization of healthy living, good morals, and holistic intelligence among students. The study concludes that teachers act as cultural communicators and character-building agents who bridge Sundanese local wisdom with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development of South-South diplomacy between Indonesia and Brazil in the era of President Prabowo Subianto with a constructivist approach. With the main focus on how Global South identity, solidarity narratives, and equality norms shape cooperation between the two countries that are not only driven by economic interests. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the analysis of data documents from presidential speeches, joint statements, official press releases, and policy documents from the governments of Indonesia and Brazil. Documents are coded based on three aspects, namely identity claims, norms, and how issues are framed in trade, food security, education, and technology. These findings show that the Global South discourse is consistently used to affirm equal and solution-oriented partnerships. This framework reinforces mutual expectations, as well as helps diversify partnerships beyond the dominance of Northern states. At the same time, Indonesia and Brazil affirmed their role as middle powers in multilateral forums. Conclusion Global Solidarity South serves as a diplomatic resource that guides cooperation priorities and strengthens the bargaining positions of the two countries.
