Abstract

The following research aims to design and build an automatic fingerprint biometric door security system consolidated with a Flask web server and SQLite database, to overcome the weaknesses of conventional security systems such as manual keys (vulnerable to duplication) and passwords (single verification function and easy to break). This system was developed using a fingerprint sensor as a user identification and verification tool. Registered fingerprint data is stored in a SQLite database. The authentication process is controlled through the Flask web server which functions as an interface for user data management and door access control. This system is designed to meet the characteristics of biometric security: unique, not easily lost, unforgettable, and difficult to forge. The resulting system is able to distinguish between identification (who the user is) and verification (identity validation) functions through fingerprints. Compared to manual keys and a single password, this system offers a better level of security because it cannot be duplicated and does not depend on memorizing passwords. The use of a web interface allows flexible and centralized access rights management. The implementation of a fingerprint sensor combined with a Flask web server and SQLite database has proven effective in building an automatic door security system that is more reliable than conventional systems. This system has the potential to be applied in corporate environments to improve door access security.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages Islamic microfinance institutions to improve the effectiveness and transparency of financial management through digital information systems. However, Micro Waqf Banks still face problems in transaction management and financial reporting due to manual and unintegrated recording processes. This study aims to develop a web-based Accounting Information System integrated with the CAMEL method to support the financial health analysis of Micro Waqf Banks. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a Waterfall model that includes needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The CAMEL method is used through the aspects of Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings, and Liquidity. The results show that the system is able to improve the effectiveness of financial data management, accelerate report preparation, reduce recording errors, and produce an automatic financial health analysis. The validation results obtained a score of 3.5 from academic validators and 3.6 from practitioners with a very valid category. This study contributes to the integration of web-based accounting information systems and the CAMEL method in Islamic microfinance institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology demands that village governments be able to provide fast, accurate, and transparent information services to the community. In Pakis Village, Magelang Regency, information delivery is still mostly carried out manually, such as through bulletin boards and verbal announcements. This method causes information to be distributed unevenly and less effectively. Therefore, a technology-based system is needed to improve the quality of village information services. This study aims to design and build a web-based information application for the profile and activities of Pakis Village, Magelang Regency, which can facilitate the management and dissemination of information to the community. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall system development model, covering the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. This application is developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP programming languages, with MySQL as the database. The main features include village profile management, activity management, documentation gallery, village news, and an admin panel to manage data easily. The results show that the application helps village officials process information more effectively and efficiently, while allowing the public to access village information online anytime and anywhere. This application is expected to increase transparency, improve public service quality, and encourage community participation in village development.
