Abstract

Excessive nausea and vomiting can threaten the health of pregnant women and fetuses, about 80% of pregnant women are treated for hyperemesis gravidarum. Nie-Guan point acupressure massage is a non-pharmacological treatment that can treat nausea and vomiting for pregnant women. The aim of this research to determine the effect of Nei-Guan point acupressure massage on emesis gravidarum. Design of this study was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design approach. Age, intervention and control were mostly at high risk 11 people (73%) and 10 people (67%). The most education is secondary in the intervention group 12 people (80%) and the control group 13 people (87%). Most of the respondents as IRT in the intervention group were 8 people (53%) and in the control group 10 people (67%). Pregnancy in the intervention and control groups was the same in primigravida 8 people (54%). The management of nausea and vomiting that is most often done is by giving warm and refreshing drinks, but not a few mothers also refuse, one non-pharmacological approach that can be given is acupressure (Grove et all, 2015). This study explains that giving acupressure point P6 (Nei-Guan) has an effect on emesis gravidarum.

Abstract

Primiparous mother's breastfeeding practice in developed and developing countries is influenced by various factors, such as sociodemographic, socio-cultural and health factors. Primiparous mother's experience of stopping breastfeeding is related to the mother's lack of knowledge about breastfeeding, breastfeeding skills, and the initial painful experience of breastfeeding. The objective of the scoping review is to review the evidence of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding in primiparous mothers. This scoping review used the Arksey and O'Malley framework. Identification of relevant studies from 2009-2019 used 5 databases. Data based are PubMed, Sciendirect, Ebsco, Wiley and Proquest. The results of this scoping review consisted of 8 articles out of 421 articles and were rated. Found 2 themes, which were internal factors and external factors. The most influential internal factor is the psychological factor of primiparous mothers, when the mother feels stressed, the mother can decide to stop breastfeeding and switch to giving formula milk to her baby and external factor is socio-cultural. There are still many countries that adhere to socio-cultural practices that can hinder the process of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Aligning IT with business strategies is the focus of attention of many IT and business leaders and managers. Many previous researchers have examined how to obtain or achieve this alignment. From that research we know, the Strategic Alignment Model, Integrated Architecture Framework, Luftman's Alignment Model, Reich Benbasat Model, and other alignment models. However, most of the above studies were carried out in countries in the Americas. The difference in geographical location, culture, population and countries where the research is carried out influences on how companies in these countries achieve alignment. This study aims to determine the supporting factors of IT Business alignment of companies in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta. The study is based on the SAM model introduced by Henderson and Venkatraman and conducted with in-depth interviews with three companies in Yogyakarta followed by an analysis of the results of the interview. From this study, obtained factors supporting the alignment of IT and business from companies, among others: Products support Distinctive Competencies, Manager support supports Distinctive Competencies, Manager’s softskill supports Distinctive Competencies, Vision and Mission statements support Business Scope, Partnership supports Business Scope, and Partnership supports the Organizational Process.

Abstract

One of the parameters that has an effect on the quality of paranasal sinuses CT image is slice thickness. According to Zojaji et al (2015), paranasal sinuses CT Scan with an indication of sinusitis should be made with a slice thickness of 5 mm, while at the Department of Radiology of Telogorejo Hospital Semarang, paranasal sinuses CT Scan is made with a slice thickness of 3.2 mm. This study aims to find out the effect of variations in slice thickness setting in imaging quality and determine the best setting of the three selected slice thicknesses in producing high quality of the paranasal sinuses CT image. This study was conducted at the Department of Radiology of Telogorejo Hospital, Semarang. The research sample is a paranasal sinuses CT of coronal slices in cases of sinusitis taken by accidental sampling techniques. Data regarding the quality of the paranasal sinuse CT image were collected through a check list by five radiologists. The results of the study showed that there were differences in the quality of images by three slice thicknesses. The three best slice thickness settings to produce high quality image were 3.2 mm, then 5 mm and the last 7.5 mm.

Abstract

Hyperemesis gravidarum is the main cause of death, currently the hyperemesis gravidarum is no longer the main cause of maternal mortality, however the hyperemesis gravidarum is still the main cause of maternal mordibility. The cause of hyperemesis gravidarum is not yet known with certainty, with an incidence of 2/1000 pregnancies. Several influences have factors, including predisposing factors (primigravida, hydatidiform mole, and multiple pregnancy). Organic factors (allergies, entry of chorial villi in the circulation, metabolic changes due to pregnancy, and the maternal resistance is decreased). Psychological factors (age, household, job loss, fear). The method used through five stages, namely identifying scoping review questions with the PEOT framework (Population, Exposure, Outcome, and Thema), identifying articles using relevant databases (PubMed, Ebsco, Wiley, Science Direct) and gray literature (Google Scholar). by using keywords, article selection, data charting, compiling, summarizing and reporting results. Five articles had the highest and lowest scores. Four themes emerged as a result of the scoping review, it consisted of the prevalence, incidence, degree and management of hyperemesis gravidarum in premarital pregnancy.

Abstract

The low level of Pap smear screening is influenced by low knowledge. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between the level of knowledge and the mother's motivation to perform a pap smear examination. This research used the Correlational Analytical method with the Cross-Sectional approach. The study population was all women of childbearing age living in Kricak village, RW 06, Kricak, Tegalrejo, Yogyakarta, totaling 49 women. Samples were taken based on the total sampling technique. Data analysis was performed with Kendall's Tau. The results revealed that as many as 12.2% of women of childbearing age (WUS) had good knowledge, 26.5% had sufficient knowledge and 61.2% had poor knowledge. In terms of motivation, as many as 28 respondents (57.1%) or most of the sample, have motivation in the category of poor with poor knowledge. The significance value obtained was 0.001 with a correlation value of 0.591. This finding suggests that there is a correlation between knowledge and a mother's motivation to perform a Pap smear screening where the correlation is in the medium range of closeness. The Tegalrejo Yogyakarta Health Center is expected to educate people about the dangers of cervical cancer and the importance of getting a pap smear exam.
