The Journal covers the discussion of (1) the activities, strategies, structures and decision making processes of profit and non-profit organization or enterprises; (2) interactions between national or multinational enterprises and other actors, organizations, institutions and markets; (3) the cross-border activities of firms (e.g., B-to-B trade, finance, investment, technology transfers); (4) how the business environment (e.g., cultural, economic, legal, political) affects the activities, strategies, structures and decision-making processes of firms; (5) the dimensions of organizational forms (e.g., strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions) and activities (e.g., entrepreneurship, knowledge-based competition, corporate governance); and (6) comparative studies of businesses, business processes and organizational behavior in different demographics, countries and environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and quality of work life (QWL) on the performance of inpatient nurses through occupational health and safety (OHS) at Hospital X in Jember. Employing a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 inpatient nurses and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results indicate that the work environment does not have a direct effect on nurse performance but significantly affects OHS. Conversely, QWL has a significant effect on both OHS and nurse performance. Additionally, OHS significantly influences nurse performance and mediates the relationship between the work environment, QWL, and nurse performance. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening OHS implementation and improving work life quality to enhance the optimal performance of healthcare personnel.

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced era of globalization, competition in the workforce is becoming more intense, making the quality of human resources (HR) a critical factor in the success of an organization. This also applies to internship programs, where the quality of facilitators plays a key role in competency development. Therefore, improving the performance of facilitators in managing internship programs needs to be taken seriously. One of the factors influencing facilitator performance is work ethic, workload, and work discipline. Hence, this study aims to identify and analyze the significant effects of work ethic, workload, and work discipline on the performance of internship facilitators mentoring at PT Bank Syariah Tbk in Jember. This research uses an explanatory research design. The data type used is quantitative, and the data sources were obtained from interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. The sample consists of 30 interns participating in the MSIB Batch 5 internship program at PT Bank Syariah Tbk Jember. This study employs multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results of the study partially prove that work ethic has a significant effect on internship performance, workload has a significant effect on internship performance, and work discipline has a significant effect on internship performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi penerapan revaluasi aset PT X dan proses revaluasi yangterjadi berdasarkan SAK yang berlaku. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yakni kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa wawancara kepada narasumber yang berkaitan dengan pelaporan aset tetap PT X dan dokumentasi dokumen terkait untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang akan diteliti. Data yang telah diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan reduksi data dan data display untuk menghasilkan data yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan disajikan dengan jelas. Triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode dilakukan untuk mengkonfirmasi data hasil wawancara dan observasi telah sesuai dan cocok. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT X sejak awalberdirinya hingga saat ini belum pernah melakukan proses revaluasi sebab tidak adanya kewajiban bagi perusahaan dan merasa bahwa kegiatan operasional masih dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Revaluasi aset penting dilakukan oleh PT X denganmenggunakan jasa penilai agar nilai yang tercantum dalam laporan keuangan menjadi relevan serta sebagai bentuktanggung jawab kepada pengguna laporan keuangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis reaksi investor di pasar modal pada bulan Ramadan 2024 dengan fokus pada abnormal return saham perusahaan ritel yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode event study dengan menganalisis return sebelum dan sesudah Ramadan, dengan menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, dimana tingkat signifikansi di atas 5% menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal, dan di bawah 5% menunjukkan data berdistribusi tidak normal. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test untuk data berdistribusi normal dan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test untuk data berdistribusi tidak normal. Alat analisis yang digunakan antara lain Microsoft Excel 365 dan SPSS v29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan abnormal return sebelum Ramadan (Sya'ban) dan sesudah Ramadan (Syawal), yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi di atas 5% pada kedua uji hipotesis.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic culture and management capability on the performance of employees at Bank Syariah Indonesia through work motivation as a mediating variable. This study was conducted at Bank Syariah Indonesia, which is considered the largest bank in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that Islamic culture has a positive influence on work motivation, management capability has a positive influence on work motivation, work motivation has a significant positive influence on employee performance, Islamic culture has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, management capability has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and the influence of Islamic culture on employee performance through work motivation is significant, as well as the influence of management capability on employee performance through work motivation being significant
