Abstract

In the book of Bukhari and Muslim hadith there are 7008 hadith sentences, of the 7008 sentences the Hadith is not yet known a hadith included in the category of prohibitions or orders. By doing the classification, it will be easier for readers to understand the hadith. The classification of hadiths is done in several stages, including: pre-processing text, the use of word vector features, and modeling of neural network architecture with multilayer perceptron. The use of layers in neural networks and feature extraction with word vectors has proven to provide good results for the classification of hadiths. The results showed a fairly high degree of accuracy that is equal to 97.72% by using two layers and 256 neurons, this research can be used to classify hadiths which have the impact of making it easier for people to understand hadiths very well.

Abstract

Abstract

Trade off theory suggests that as business risk increases (decreases), company debt level will decrease (increase). This is because companies compensate for higher business risk with lower debt level as debt is riskier than equity. Companies also avoid higher interest rate charged for debt to companies with higher business risk. We found that company’s ability to pay for interest expense mitigate the negative relation between business risk and debt level among manufacture companies in Indonesia. As the ability to pay interest expenses increases, bankruptcy risk decreases. Lenders will perceive the company as a low-risk company, even though business risk is high. Another mechanism is that the ability to pay interest acts as a signal that the company has lower risk than what business risk suggests. The result is lower interest rate that leads to higher debt level.

Abstract

This study aims to look at financial market conditions whether there is a significant reaction from investors to the announcement of a lockdown or PSBB during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study, an event study model will be used to see the impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the stock market. The use of this method was chosen because this method can clearly detect any abnormal returns resulting from an event that has occurred. This research will look at the abnormal returns arising from the Covid-19 event. To calculate the abnormal return in this study using the market model. This study uses secondary data using stoock returns from 31 tourism companies listed on the IDX. The results show a comparioson of skewed returns before and after the Lockdown event, the outcome of the Covid-19 Pandemic leading to statistically significantt differences, as shows by the Wilcoxon Signed Ratings Test. This can happen if people in the market start selling their stock out of fear that the scenario cause by Covid-19 will spiral out of controlm not because they made a calculated decision to sell.

Abstract

Various research has shown a positive relation between profitability and stock return. Higher profitability increases company value, and thus drives stock prices higher. We found that the relation is much weaker in companies with high leverage compared to companies with low leverage. The reason might be that in highly leveraged companies, the cash flow resulting from profit is mainly used to serve debt obligation, leaving little left for the stockholder. The result is important for stock investors to avoid putting too much emphasis on company profitability in making investing decisions.

Abstract

Enter Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and included in the SRI-KEHATI Index for the years 2021-2023, the purpose of this research is to assess the impact of debt levels and deferred taxes on tax avoidance. The Completed Item All of the descriptive methods that were utilized in this investigation were quantitative. The framework of this study makes use of secondary data that was obtained from several information sources, including www.idx.com. Throughout the three-year observation period (2021-2023), sixty data points that satisfy particular criteria were gathered from twenty-five companies that were selected through the use of a purposive sampling approach. To study the data, various statistical methods were utilized, including descriptive statistics with classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using F and t-tests, and evaluation of the coefficient of determination. According to the findings of this research, from 2021 through 2023, the Deferred Tax variable does not have a substantial impact on tax avoidance actions when the context is partial (t). In the context of tax evasion, the Debt Level variable is completely insignificant. From 2021 through 2023, companies that are included on the SRI-KEHATI Index do not let the factors dealing with their Deferred Tax and Debt Level have a major impact on the steps they take to avoid paying taxes (F). The level of debt and the amount of deferred taxes do not simultaneously affect tax evasion in SRI-KEHATI index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
