Abstract

China has been rapidly accumulating naval capabilities for nearly 4 decades with the ambition of pursuing blue-water-navy forces through its People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). With its peaceful development policy, the acquisition of such powers has been interpreted as an anomaly and therefore resulted in an increase of security dilemmas between states. In the quest for explanations behind China’s actions, multiple scholars have examined this phenomenon by utilizing offensive realism, defensive realism, and Tirpitzian non-hegemonic naval theory. Thus, this paper brings another perspective by applying the Mahanian Sea Power approach. Consequently, the analysis established that China’s pursuit of blue-water-navy is driven by its interest in economic supremacy. In addition, the intention is also influenced by its wide coastline, large population, competitive nationals, and independent decisive government. The paper concludes that a blue-water-navy is a necessity for China in order to access markets, secure territorial interests, and obtain command of the sea for economic purposes.

Flourishing businesses, in contrast to those solely prioritizing profit, have greater potential for innovation, more opportunities, reduced risk, and enhanced resilience in our rapidly changing world.  This paper outlines the critical intersection between entrepreneurship education (EE) and the pursuit of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within higher education institutions. This paper examines how universities can leverage EE as a stimulant for advancing sustainable development initiatives and fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship among students. Drawing on existing literature, the paper explores the multifaceted contributions of EE to the SDGs across various domains, including poverty alleviation, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and economic growth. It highlights the role of EE in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to address complex social and environmental challenges through entrepreneurial endeavors. Furthermore, the paper identifies the strategies and best practices for integrating sustainability principles into EE curricula, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement. It also discusses the role of universities as hubs of innovation and research in developing solutions to pressing global issues and fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems that support sustainable development initiatives. Overall, the paper underscores the transformative potential of entrepreneurship education in universities to drive meaningful progress towards the achievement of SDGs. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membuat pemerintah Indonesia terpaksa membuat kebijakan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) guna menekan penambahan kasus orang terpapar Covid-19 setiap harinya.

Abstract

Background: The literature presents a compelling case for the use of percutaneous ethanol injection therapy (PEIT) as a treatment modality for locally recurrent papillary thyroid cancer, particularly when compared to traditional surgical reoperation. The studies reviewed highlight the evolution of PEIT from its initial applications in benign conditions to its potential in managing malignancies. Literature Review: Overall, the literature indicates a growing consensus on the viability of PEIT as an alternative to surgical reoperation for locally recurrent papillary thyroid cancer, particularly for patients who may not tolerate more invasive procedures. The progression from initial applications in benign lesions to considerations for complex malignancies underscores the adaptability and potential of PEIT in clinical practice. Conclusion: The collective insights from these articles support the notion that PEIT could serve as a viable alternative to surgical reoperation for patients with locally recurrent papillary thyroid cancer. The evidence suggests that PEIT not only maintains a favorable safety profile but also offers significant therapeutic benefits, particularly for patients who may be at higher risk for surgical complications. Further research comparing the long-term outcomes of PEIT and surgical reoperation is warranted to solidify its role in clinical practice.
