Abstract

This study evaluates the pavement condition of 3,300 meters of Adiwerna Highway II using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method based on the ASTM D6433-18 standard. The road is divided into 18 segments to facilitate analysis, with data obtained through visual surveys. The results show five main types of damage, dominated by patches (84%). PCI values ​​range from 38–86 with an average of 69 ("Fair" category), indicating the need for planned maintenance. The most critical segment is at STA 3+100–3+200 (PCI 38). The study recommends a more economically efficient preventive maintenance strategy, and suggests specific treatments according to the type of damage. This study supports the development of data-driven road asset management for infrastructure maintenance optimization.

Abstract

Tropical regions offer significant opportunities in the development of renewable energy, particularly through industrial-scale Solar Power Plants (PLTS). This study aims to analyze PLTS implementation strategies in tropical areas as a means to support clean energy and green economic development. A literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach was employed. The results show that industrial-scale PLTS implementation is highly promising due to stable and high solar radiation throughout the year. However, challenges persist such as limited infrastructure, high initial capital, and inconsistent regulatory frameworks. Thus, collaboration among stakeholders is essential to establish a sustainable energy ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how effective the laboratory information system is in terms of data transmission and website speed at the UNTIRTA VTE Laboratory. To conduct this study, a literature review and direct observation of the data sending and receiving process, as measured by PageSpeed ​​Insights, were used. The results showed that overall, the website performance was good, with optimal FCP and LCP values ​​on desktop and mobile devices. However, elements such as Interaction to Next Paint (INP) and Speed ​​Index (SI) require additional improvements to improve interactivity and access speed. The student dashboard page is considered the main activity center, according to the analysis of user access pattern data. However, pages with large file sizes require better data transmission management to avoid bottlenecks. This study provides an overview of how effective data transmission and user experience are on the laboratory website and suggests the development of infrastructure and website optimization elements, such as caching and file size reduction. These results contribute to the continuous improvement of the laboratory website, which is very important to meet the data and information service needs of UNTIRTA VTE Laboratory users in real-time.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a color mixing formula that matches the Pantone Green 2282 C color with a target value of ΔLab <1 using three basic colors. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a Pre-Test Post-Test design. The results of this study are that the Pantone Green 2282 C color ink can be formed from three basic colors including Yellow 570, Blue 800 and Red 003 inks. The selection of these colors is based on the Lab* value which shows that the three inks are able to produce the Pantone Green 2282 C color with a target value of ΔLab <1. In the process of mixing these colors, White 45 ink is needed to balance the three colors. The process of obtaining the Pantone Green 2282 C color through experiments that produce a total of 15 formulas. Where the T-14 formula with a composition of Yellow 570 (50%), Blue 800 (35%), Red (15%) and Medium (10%) was chosen because the target value of ΔLab <1 has been achieved..

Abstract

The color fastness of ultraviolet (UV) ink on outdoor print media is a crucial aspect that affects long-term visual quality. This study aims to evaluate the effect of varying the duration of UV exposure on the color stability of UV magenta ink applied to flexi-based banner media. The testing process was carried out experimentally through artificial irradiation, with color change analysis using the CIE Lab color system and the ΔE parameter as an indicator of degradation. The results showed that the longer the irradiation duration, the higher the ΔE value produced, which indicated significant color degradation. This finding emphasizes the importance of applying additional protection, such as UV lamination coating, to improve the color fastness of prints for outdoor use.

Abstract

Small-scale industries such as tofu and tempeh factories play a significant role in the local economy but often face serious issues such as workplace accidents. This study aims to describe the working conditions and their relation to unsafe acts by workers at the XYZ tofu and tempeh factory. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through direct observation and interviews with four workers. The findings show that a hot and noisy work environment, poor ventilation, and disorganized workspace affect workers’ behavior in carrying out tasks without using proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Unsafe work practices have become a common habit due to factors such as routine behavior, limited facilities, and demands for work efficiency. The study concludes that an unsupportive work environment is directly associated with the increase in unsafe behavior. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the working environment, including ventilation, workspace layout, and adequate provision of PPE, as well as to increase workers’ awareness of occupational health and safety through regular training and outreach. These measures are essential to foster a safe and healthy work culture in small-scale industrial settings.

Abstract

Control systems with time delays introduce system stability problems because time delays cause exponential effects to the system response. Conventional root-locus methods cannot be used directly on systems with delays due to irrational mathematical forms. This study analyzes the shifting effect of time delay on the stability of linear control systems by using the first-order Padé approach to enable the application of the root-locus method. The system model used is a second-order linear system with a transfer function of , and is analyzed under conditions without delay and with delays of 0.5, 1, and 1.5 seconds. Simulations were performed using MATLAB software. The results show that the addition of delay causes a right pole shift of the imaginary axis, reduces the stability margin of the system, and results in a more oscillative response as well as a longer time for the system to stabilize. The first-order Padé approach is shown to be effective in facilitating the visual analysis of stability in time-delayed systems. The findings make a practical contribution in adapting classical analysis techniques to the needs of modern control systems and can be widely applied in the development of network-based control systems, industrial automation, and real-time control.

Abstract

Color fastness in Direct to Film (DTF) digital screen printing is influenced by various external factors, one of which is exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. This study aims to evaluate the impact of UV light on the color stability of DTF prints on two types of fabric, namely 30s cotton and spandex rayon. A quantitative approach was used in this study, involving color difference testing (ΔE), washing simulations, and UV exposure. Based on the analysis results, cotton 30s demonstrated superior color fastness performance compared to spandex rayon, as indicated by lower ΔE values after UV exposure and washing processes. Conversely, spandex rayon experienced more drastic color changes, especially after being washed with bleach detergent. These findings emphasize that the selection of fabric materials and washing methods are critical factors.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an analysis of the management information system implemented at the community health center (Puskesmas). In fulfilling its operational functions, Puskesmas typically utilizes a management information system to support data processing and the delivery of healthcare services. To enable healthcare personnel to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently, the system must operate in an optimal condition. Ensuring such efficiency requires a systematic evaluation to identify existing issues, thereby allowing for targeted improvements and further system development. The evaluation was carried out using a heuristic evaluation approach focused on usability aspects, referencing ten standard indicators. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to clinical staff at Puskesmas. The results of the analysis identified 15 usability-related issues distributed across 4 key usability aspects. These issues were subsequently categorized into low and medium priority levels for improvement. The findings from this study may serve as a foundation for system refinement, feature enhancement, and overall development of the management information system at Puskesmas Depok I, Sleman, ultimately aiming to improve user experience in terms of accessibility and operational convenience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the failure risks of UV digital printing machines used at PT XYZ using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. In the digital printing industry, the continuity of machine operations heavily depends on effective maintenance to prevent downtime that could disrupt the production process. The FMEA method is employed to identify potential failure modes and evaluate the severity, occurrence, and detection of each failure. This research adopts a quantitative approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and historical documentation. The analysis reveals that the printhead, cooling system, and UV lamp are the components with the highest Risk Priority Numbers (RPN), at 504, 441, and 288 respectively. Based on these findings, it is recommended that preventive and predictive maintenance strategies be enhanced to avoid recurring failures.
