Abstract

The use of short story teaching materials has great potential in students' reading skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the development and validation of teaching materials sourced from Helvy Tiada Rosa's short story for grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Galang Deli Serdang Regency for the 2023-2024 Learning Year. This research method uses the development of the R&D cycle of Borg and Gall. The steps in this study are data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision, and mass results. His research instruments are non-tests and tests. Research uses material experts to validate teaching materials. Data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis. The results of the development of critical reading skills teaching materials containing moral messages sourced from Helvy Tiada Rosa's short story for grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Galang are included in the "Good" category. The results of the validation of the development of literary appreciation teaching materials on the aspect of teaching material are 3, as a whole can be categorized as "Good". Based on the effectiveness of development using validated teaching materials, it was found that the skills to distinguish opinions and facts, the skills to distinguish reality and fantasy, the skills to follow instructions, the skills to find elements of propaganda, the skills to assess the integrity of ideas in the category are very good.

Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution has brought about major changes in how we live and labor, specifically affecting family dynamics. This abstract explores how families adjust to these changes to maintain productivity and well-being in the digital age. We concentrate on the effects of technology adoption on the labor market and the necessary skills, including automation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Adapting abilities to stay professionally relevant and maintain social-emotional balance in the face of evolving digitally affected interaction patterns is a major problem for families. This study emphasizes how crucial it is for families to adjust quickly in order to acquire new skills and maintain up good communication. We demonstrate how families can prosper in the digital age by effectively adapting. Families that recognize and solve these issues will be able to maintain their well-being in the face of swift global change.

Abstract

After leadership training has been carried out, Young Teachers will have and demonstrate leadership behavior skills that are ready to take on challenges and can inspire students and other parties. From the training activities carried out, it can be concluded that the extension participants felt happy and satisfied with the exposure given. This is because the participants gain new understanding and skills in demonstrating leadership behavior. Indonesia Mengajar is a movement whose main activity is recruiting, training and sending young Indonesians who are the best university graduates, to serve for one year in various regions in Indonesia as elementary school teachers. Apart from their basic duties as teachers, these Young Teachers have the mandate to drive behavioral change in their places of duty.

Abstract

In this digital era, political campaigns have experienced significant changes with the emergence of various social media platforms and digital technology. This phenomenon is no exception in the context of the 2019 presidential and vice-presidential general elections in Indonesia. Digital political campaigns have become an integral part of candidates' strategies in winning the hearts of voters and increasing their electability. In this analysis, we evaluate the effectiveness of digital political campaigns in increasing the electability of prospective candidates in the 2019 presidential and vice-presidential general elections. We identify the strategies and tactics used by candidates and their campaign teams in utilizing digital technology to achieve their political goals, as well as the impact digital political campaigns on public perception and the final results of the general election. Using qualitative analysis methods, we collect data from various social media platforms and apply content analysis to understand the influence of digital political campaigns. The research results show that digital political campaigns have a significant impact in increasing the electability of prospective candidates, by increasing visibility, recognition and interaction with voters through social media. In addition, we also discuss other factors that influence election outcomes, such as the participation of young voters, the potential for polarization, and the influence of dynastic politics. Thus, this analysis provides in-depth insight into the role of digital technology in contemporary politics and its implications for democracy and the general election process in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how students' emotional regulation is studied in psychology. The period of emotional development of students in their teenage years is a transitional period that is very vulnerable and requires guidance to be able to control emotions. Emotions are a very dangerous mental disorder. We will discuss several important aspects, including the types of emotion regulation strategies commonly used by students, campus environmental factors that influence emotion regulation, and the impact of emotion regulation on students' psychological well-being and academic achievement. Students often face complex academic, social, and emotional stress in the campus environment, so their ability to manage their emotions is critical to their well-being and academic success. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were students at the Indah Medan College of Health Sciences. The results of the analysis using observation techniques. Through this research, it is hoped that there will be a better understanding of the role of emotional regulation in students' lives, as well as practical implications for the development of coaching and intervention programs in higher education environments.

Abstract

Islamic education is an important aspect of the MAN 3 Banyuwangi curriculum, which is now faced with challenges and opportunities with the development digital technology. In this era, digital literacy is becoming a crucial factor in facilitating the Islamic religious learning process in schools. Study This aim is to deepen the role deep digital literacy context learning Islamic religious education at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. With a qualitative approach, research This utilizes interviews, observations, and analysis content to explore how digital literacy influences and is implemented in Islamic religious learning in schools. Findings from the study This discloses that digital literacy plays an important role in increasing the quality of Islamic religious learning at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. Teachers use various digital resources, such as learning videos and Islamic religious websites, to enrich their experience. Study, student. Students are also actively using technology to look for information and discussion about the Islamic religion. However, there are also challenges related to accessibility, technology, and the development of digital literacy skills among students. This study also highlights the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum of Islamic religious education at MAN 3 Banyuwangi. Abstract

Eradicating corruption has become the main focus in many countries, including Indonesia, because of its disturbing economic, social and political impacts. The Prosecutor's Office, as a law enforcement agency, has an important role in this effort. This research proposes to increase the effectiveness of legal actions taken by the Bondowoso Prosecutor's Office, East Java, in eradicating corruption. The approach to eradicating corruption involves various policies, as confirmed by the National Strategy for Eradicating Corruption (SNPK). However, it is also important to involve the role of students and crime policy and corruption prevention. This research will analyze the context of Bondowoso Regency, East Java, as well as research on the relevance of efforts to eradicate corruption at the local level, especially focusing on the role of the Prosecutor's Office. The Document Analysis method is used in this research to initiate policies and legal actions that have been taken by the Bondowoso Prosecutor's Office. Analysis steps include collection, selection, analysis and interpretation of relevant documents. The results of this analysis will help identify policies that have been implemented, measure their effectiveness, and identify the challenges faced. Research results and discussions include collection, selection, analysis and interpretation of documents. Policy identification, effectiveness evaluation, challenge identification, and recommendations for improvement are part of the conclusions of this research. Thus, this research provides a deeper understanding of the efforts to eradicate corruption by the Bondowoso Prosecutor's Office, East Java. It is hoped that the results can provide a basis for improving policies and practices for eradicating corruption at the local level, as well as making a positive contribution in eradicating corruption more effectively.

Abstract

The implementation of the ITE Law in general has not been implemented optimally , because the general public's understanding of the ITE Law is still imperfect, including community activities in cyberspace . Activities in cyberspace cannot be separated from human factors and their legal consequences also intersect with humans in society who are in the physical world, therefore the idea emerged about the need for legal rules to regulate activities in cyberspace. The word "Democracy" comes from two words, namely demos which means people, and kratos/cratein which means government, so it can be interpreted as people's government, or what we know better as government of the people, by the people and for the people. This research uses an explanatory type , namely research that explains the implementation of the ITE Law and democracy in cyberspace. From the results of the research that has been carried out, through the process of filling out questionnaires and interview results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the ITE Law in Indonesia is related to democracy in the moderate category

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce the development of writing materials and learning media for Indonesian learning using Microsoft PowerPoint for grade VII semester 2 students of SMP Negeri 2 Pulau Rakyat. This type of development research data is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The research used the development model and research and development (R&D) of Borg and Gall. The purpose of this research is the compilation of a learning media product as an effort to develop writing material. In connection with this goal, researchers use seven steps in the development of learning media, namely analysis of teacher and student needs, product development with Microsoft PowerPoint, validation of media experts and material experts and Indonesian teachers, the first stage of revision, field trials, and finally the final stage of revision. The quality of learning media products can be known through the average obtained from the validation results of Indonesian teachers of 95%. The average percentage of the assessment results was 87.18% in the very good category. In addition, the quality of development products can also be known through the results of excellent student feedback. This research product is learning materials and media designed for class VII second semester. This product contains eight Competency Standards which are translated into seventeen Basic Competencies and contained in twelve lessons. The twelve lessons are organized and integrated with one main menu. Each media unit is arranged systematically including, perceptions, competency standards and basic competencies, indicators, materials, sample questions and competency tests in which there are various media arranged simultaneously including, text, audio recordings, video and animation. The results of this study are very relevant to the 2013 curriculum because they are in accordance with the standards of the learning process of interactive, inspiring, fun, creative, challenging and motivating students.

Abstract

The issues in this study is: How to improve the ability to use proverbs in the essays of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 104189 Kota Datar? The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the ability to use proverbs in the essays of the students of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 104189 Kota Datar. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using 3 cycles, namely cycle I, cycle II and cycle III, broadly speaking, there are four stages that are passed in carrying out Classroom Action Research (PTK), namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 104189 Kota Datar, a total of 39 people. The findings showed that the application of PAKEM method with proverbial teaching aids by the teachers of Grade V students of SD Negeri 104189 Kota Datar, as evidenced by the increase in student activity for each index. In the first indicator, the number of very active pupils rose from 4 in the first cycle to 10 in the second, and again to 21 in the third. The other indicators of student activity continued to increase in each cycle. The increase in the ability to use proverbs in the essays of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 104189 Kota Datar occurred significantly, this can be seen from the average value of the ability to use proverbs in cycles I, II and III. From cycle I to cycle II, the average ability to use proverbs increased from 48.84 to 69.23, an increase of 20.39, likewise from cycle II to cycle III increased from 69.23 to 75. 46 again increased by 6.23. Logically, from Cycle I to Cycle III it increased by 26.62.
