Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Qur'an Pagutan which began implementing the independent curriculum in the 2022/2023 academic year in grades 1,2,3, and 5. MI Nurul Qur'an chose the independent option of sharing in implementing IKM by developing its own tools. MI Nurul Qur'an in preparing its teaching staff for IKM sent teachers to attend IKM training, but most of it was done bravely, so that the understanding of teachers was still limited, especially in making independent curriculum tools such as teaching modules to replace lesson plans. The purpose of the activity is to increase the understanding of madrasa teachers in implementing the independent curriculum, through seminars and interactive discussions which will be held on August 31, 2023. The implementation of this activity consists of three stages, namely preparation, seminar activities, and closing and follow-up. Madrasah teachers feel that their understanding of the independent curriculum policy is increasing, and wish to be assisted in creating independent curriculum tools.

Abstract

Training on computational thinking questions for new Mathematics Education students is a training that aims to improve the understanding and computational thinking skills of students who are currently studying mathematics. Computational thinking is a key ability that allows individuals to formulate problems, develop algorithms, and apply computational concepts in problem solving. This training program identifies the gap between the ideal understanding of computing and today's reality, and seeks to fill the gap. Through a series of comprehensive training sessions, students are introduced to the basic concepts of computational thinking and the integration of mathematics with computing. They are given the opportunity to practice designing mathematical problems that require computational thinking as part of their teaching. This program aims to create mathematics teachers who are better prepared and competent in teaching mathematical concepts, while preparing them to face the demands of a world that is increasingly dependent on technology. In order to achieve this goal, this training emphasizes the importance of regular evaluations to monitor student progress. In this way, this training provides benefits for students in the context of mathematics education, but also contributes to the development of stronger mathematical literacy among the younger generation and their preparation for success in an increasingly digitally connected future.

Abstract

Lake Toba is a strategic tourist destination in Indonesia with rich natural and cultural potentials. The local cultural wisdom serves as one of the primary attractions for visitors. The government encourages the active role of the local community in managing and developing tourism. In this regard, the younger generation, especially millennials, plays a central role in advancing tourism and preserving cultural heritage. Despite their pivotal role, millennials face various challenges, including shifting towards more modern development, lack of commitment, and the influence of gadgets in daily life. Therefore, this initiative aims to enhance the role of the younger generation in the development of tourism in Lake Toba by conducting lectures and outreach at SMK Negeri 1 Simanindo. The proposed solutions include training, leveraging technology, and partnering with local governments. With the active involvement of Young Generations, Lake Toba is expected to become a high-quality and sustainable tourist destination, providing significant economic and social benefits to the region and the country as a whole.

Abstract

Garbage is a shared problem that has not been resolved to date. This waste problem occurs at the tourist spot Padepokan Lembah Sumilir, Wonosalam Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. The results of previous observations found that in the Sumilir Valley Padepokan tour there were problems faced, namely the problem of waste management. Therefore, the solution that can be offered is to create a waste management system called a Waste Bank based on appropriate technology (TTG). The result of this activity is to make trash cans so that tourists can dispose of trash in its place according to the type of waste that is there

Abstract

TBM is a forum for the community to learn using books as a reading source and activity programs to build community literacy awareness. Currently, people's literacy culture is increasingly low as a result of their low interest in reading. To improve literacy culture, a reading degree program was held at TBM Sabilul Faizin, Slatri Hamlet, Pait Village, Kasembon District, Malang Regency. The method used is four stages; 1) Discussion and coordination stage, 2) Planning and preparation stage, 3) Activity implementation stage, 4) Activity results evaluation stage. This reading degree program is carried out by dividing participants into two groups, namely children in the low level group and children in the high level group. Reading for low level children is done by telling stories, while for high level children it is done by reading story books. The results of this activity can increase children's reading literacy and foster a literacy culture in children at TBM Sabilul Faizin. It is hoped that this activity can be carried out in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Korupsi merupakan masalah paling krusial yang dihadapi negara dan bangsa Indonesia saat ini. Tindak pidana korupsi yang terjadi terentang mulai dari tindakan korupsi yang paling kecil dan sederhana, hingga yang paling besar dan terstruktur. Saat ini, tidak hanya di tingkat perguruan tinggi namun juga pada tingkat sekolah sangat berpotensi terjadinya tindakan korupsi. Perlu untuk melakukan penanaman sikap perilaku anti korupsi kepada seluruh siswa dengan harapan ke depannya tindakan korupsi dapat diminimalisir terjadi ketika pada siswa tersebut telah tumbuh dan berada pada jajaran level tertentu. Strategi pemberantasan korupsi yang dilakukan ditingkat sekolah akan memberikan berberapa manfaat seperti sosialisasi yang diberikan secara dini kepada para siswa dan sebagai investasi bangsa dalam jangka panjang. Sejalan dengan program pemerintah mengenai aksi pemberantasan korupsi, maka kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim Pengabdi Program Studi Hubungan Internasional Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sulawesi Barat terkait dengan Penyuluhan Pendidikan Karakter Anti Korupsi Pada Siswa SMP Negeri 2 Majene dianggap telah mendukung dengan program tersebut.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen the management of MSMEs in terms of implementing accounting so that the financial reports produced are in accordance with accounting principles. It is hoped that this PkM activity can support MSMEs in achieving good governance. In achieving good governance, MSMEs must apply accounting properly by presenting balance sheets and profit and loss reports. The method used in this PkM is Action Research in the form of assistance in recording financial reports in the boiler broiler chicken farming business which is carried out in Lepolima village, East Alok District. The results obtained from this activity are an understanding of recording financial reports in the form of balance sheets and profit and loss in the boiler broiler chicken farming business.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen the management of calculating the cost of production, cost of goods sold and marketing strategies in terms of implementing accounting so that the financial reports produced are in accordance with accounting principles. It is hoped that this PKM activity can support the Tatin ikat weaving group in achieving good governance. To achieve good governance, Ikat Tatin Weaving must implement cost of production, cost of goods sold and marketing strategies. The method used in this PKM is Skills Training in the form of training on the application of cost of production, cost of goods sold and marketing strategies via social media. The participants in the activity were women from the ikat tatin weaving group. The results obtained from this activity are that the public understands the calculation of the cost of production, cost of goods sold and marketing strategies via digital platforms (Facebook). Abstract

This community service aims to implement a computer-based bookkeeping system and apply Microsoft Excel properly and correctly in the management of MSMEs in the Pelangi canteen business as well as providing a way to use labels on packaging and use banana leaves as food bases or rice wrappers that are more natural and hygienic and reduce costs. .The method used in this PkM is Skills Training in the form of training and implementing the Excel Application System properly and correctly. The results obtained from this activity are Training on the Implementation of Excel-Based Financial Recording which has provided understanding to MSME managers at the Pelangi Canteen.

Abstract

This community service aims to understand the sale and purchase of agricultural products in a true business. Where the management of agricultural products can improve people's standard of living, by knowing the application of sales and purchase reports. It is hoped that this PkM activity can support genuine businesses in achieving sales and purchase targets for agricultural products. In achieving good targets, a true business must implement good sales and purchasing report presentation. The method used in this PkM is skills training regarding sales and purchase reports of agricultural products in the form of manual recording and is carried out in 2 days with the activity participants being true business managers in the field of buying and selling agricultural products. The results obtained from this activity are the application of income recognition for sales and purchase transactions of agricultural products in real businesses.
