Abstract

This research is entitled "Learning of Islamic Religious Education with the Book of Classical Jurisprudence at MAN 2 Palembang". The main issues of the research discussed in this thesis are: (1) How is the learning plan for Islamic religious education with classical fiqh books at MAN 2 Palembang, (2) What is the learning process for Islamic religious education with classical fiqh books at MAN 2 Palembang, (3) ) How to evaluate the learning of Islamic religious education with classical fiqh books at MAN 2 Palembang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research location in MAN 2 Palembang. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that learning Islamic religious education with classical fiqh books at MAN 2 Palembang was optimal. This can be seen from good planning, process and evaluation.

Abstract

Tasawuf education serves to make humans have pious personalities, good and noble behavior, and the best worship, producing the output in the form of honest, istiqāmah and tawadu humans. Tasawuf education for teenagers is really needed to prevent juvenile delinquency. This article aimed to identify and understand the concept of tasawuf education in order to prevent juvenile delinquency. This article used a literature review approach. The literature search was conducted online through Google Scholar which was limited from 2012-2022 with the search process using the keywords of "Tasawuf Education", "Tasawuf Education for Teenagers", and "Millennial Tasawuf Education". The result of this study shows that in general, tasawuf education is a means for a person to get closer to Allah through the purification of the soul and heart. This is what is needed to face the modern life experienced by humans, especially the millennial teens who are keen to the world of technology and the internet. Tasawuf education must also be included and presented with the latest approaches so that it relates to millennial teens. It is for the sake of creating teenagers who have good morals and protecting their personalities from spiritual crisis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts of madrasa heads in improving the quality of madrasas. This study included empirical qualitative research using a field research approach. The steps taken in analyzing were collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, verification (conclusion drawing ). The results of this study indicate that the efforts of Madrasah Heads to Improve Madrasah Quality by conducting Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) fostering teacher professionalism can indirectly be carried out through seminars, training, further studies, and participation in KKG and MGMP. Second, the development of infrastructure such as the construction of new buildings, renovation of old buildings, construction of fences, and improvement of other spaces so as to enhance the learning process and the potential of students. In improving teacher performance, madrasa heads always increase teacher commitment in realizing discipline, intensely motivating teacher work, and being a role model for teachers in their madrasah environment.

Abstract

Islam entered Minangkabau between the 12th and 13th centuries AD, by two routes namely; route from Aceh and route from Malacca. Islam was introduced by preachers and Arab merchants who settled in eastern Minangkabau, especially in the watershed that disgorged into the center of the Minangkabau kingdom in the interior. The expansion of the Samudra Pasai kingdom into eastern Minangkabau was very influential for the intensive spread of Islam in this region and other Minangkabau regions. The process of Islamization took place peacefully, because it was introduced through local wisdom approaches of the community in the local cultural environment. Surau (as the oldest educational institution) for the Minangkabau people has a multidimensional function, not only functioning as a place for gathering, meetings and sleeping places but also functioning as an Islamic educational institution, Minangkabau society is an open society, meaning people who do not close themselves off to accept change. The movement for reforming Islamic education in Minangkabau, which was initially initiated by three Minangkabau clerics who had studied in Mecca, where they received wide acceptance among the Minangkabau community, including from among Islamic figures who manage educational institutions (Surau-Surau, etc.) ). These three figures brought renewal ideas that were obtained in Mecca, one of the understandings they received was the ideology of "Wahabiyah" which aims to cleanse Islam of all traditions/customs that conflict with the purity of Islamic teachings, but their movement did not run smoothly because they received challenges from indigenous defenders. As a result, the two groups were involved in a conflict which later became known as the Padri War (1803-1837). Despite the challenges, their movement continued to run according to the ideals of their struggle, so that from this renewal movement, they gave birth to famous great scholars, where they established or changed the "Surau (halaqah)" education system to the "Classical" system and became the center Islamic education throughout the Minangkabau region and its surroundings.

Abstract

The development of madrasah as part of Islamic nuasa educational institutions in Indonesia from the past until now has shown its existence even though it has received less attention from the government. Nevertheless, the extra struggle is always echoed by education observers through the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Home Affairs wanting to fulfill their rights as a forum for intelligence for the community and a form of support from the government because the purpose of the upbringing carried out is in accordance with the objectives of national education. This study describes and then analyzes the implications of the policies contained in the SKB 3 Menteri Tahun 1975, UUSPN No. 2 Tahun 1989, and UU No. 16 Tahun 2001 on Islamic nuance educational institutions. Library research is used as a research method to look at related sources, namely articles (scientific papers), books and so on. The results showed that the changes felt by educational institutions with Islamic nuances to these policies include: 1. The inclusion of madrasas on the national education mechanism, 2. Existence Is Recognized and Output Has Freedom, 3. Guaranteed Financing from the Government, 4. Equitable Application of Curriculum, 5. Wages or Salaries of Teachers Paid by the Government, dan 6. Received Legal Protection from the Government. On the other hand, the government needs and is obliged to conduct an evaluation (assessment) regarding the realization and reality in the field of policies aimed at improving and improving existing performance. So as to create justice for each educational institution in Indonesia, especially with Islamic nuances.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the demonstration method in class VII fiqh subjects at MTsN 14 Hulu Sungai Tengah, what efforts were made to increase the effectiveness of the demonstration method in class VII fiqh subjects at MTsN 14 Hulu Sungai Tengah, what factors became supporters and obstacles in the implementation of the demonstration method in fiqh class VII at MTsN 14 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The type of research used is qualitative research. Sources of data in the study were the Principal of Schools, Fiqh Teachers and Students. The research instruments used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1) The use of the demonstration method carried out on class VII MTsN 14 Hulu Sungai Tengah students is very effective because students can directly after explaining the aims and objectives of students can immediately watch the fiqh teacher to give examples to students so that students can watch directly then the students also participate in practicing these activities such as tayamum, ablution and prayer. 2) The efforts made are: the first step to explain in advance the intent and purpose of using the demonstration method in accordance with the material being taught. Prepare students so that they can focus more on the material to be taught. There is discussion or sharing after the use of demonstration methods with students. 3) the factors that become supporters and obstacles, namely: the supporting factors are able to make teaching clearer and more concrete, can stimulate students to be more active in participating in teaching and learning activities, students find it easier to understand what is learned precisely and clearly, can increase Students experience, the teaching process is more interesting, can reduce misunderstanding because teaching is concrete, students are designed to actively observe, adjust theory to reality and try to do it themselves. The second factor is obstacles, these factors can come from students, teachers, facilities, infrastructure, limited time and so on.

Abstract

The PAI teacher's strategy to increase interest in learning is highly expected, because it really helps students in mastering teaching materials. Based on this statement, the formulation of the problem in this study was carried out, namely what is the PAI teacher's strategy to increase interest in learning at MTsN 10 Tabalong? and what are the factors that influence it?. The purpose of this study was to find out the strategies of PAI teachers to increase their interest in learning at MTsN 10 Tabalong and to find out the factors that influence them. The subjects in this study were one PAI teacher and several students at MTsN 10 Tabalong. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observations, and documentaries. Then processed through the process of data reduction, data display, and data verification. Meanwhile, to analyze the data the author uses descriptive and qualitative analysis. After the data has been analyzed, it can finally be concluded that 1) The PAI teacher's strategy to increase interest in learning at MTsN 10 Tabalong, namely a) In this cooperative strategy, the PAI teacher has made groups and made rules in groups and the rules are intended to be active in expressing their opinions or the sound. b) In this inquiry strategy, PAI teachers often do this by giving assignments to students, both personal assignments and group assignments. In the process, PAI teachers place great emphasis on student understanding. c) In this expository strategy, PAI teachers place more emphasis on students' understanding of the material they are studying. d) In this asking strategy, students can ask PAI teachers and students can also ask fellow students. 2) Factors that influence it, such as a) Factors from within students show that all students are physically healthy and students also do not experience physical disabilities. So for the factors that exist in these students there is no problem. b) Factors that are outside of these students, such as the friend factor that makes learning enthusiastic. The factor of parents who are busy with work makes their children's learning outcomes decrease.

Abstract

One of the educational problems facing our nation is the quality of education. Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of national education, including through various trainings and improving teacher competence, procuring books and learning tools, improving educational facilities and infrastructure, and improving the quality of school management. Leadership is one of the factors that determine the success of SBM implementation. School-Based Management gives flexibility to schools to manage their potential by involving all stakeholders to improve the quality of the school. Because the school has such broad authority, the presence of a leader figure is very important. Understanding of the nature of leadership. In implementing SBM, school principals need to have strong, participatory and democratic capabilities. This research uses a qualitative approach in a descriptive form. The use of descriptive methods in this study with the aim of describing an implementation of school principal leadership in implementing school-based management by first analyzing the implementation process. The implementation of School Based Management (SBM) at SMAN 1 Paringin is participatory. This management gives authority from the school, and then the school delegates it to each teacher and its employees. All teachers and employees feel involved from planning, implementing, and evaluating school programs. The principle of decentralization views that problems that arise in schools will be adjusted as best as possible if the solution is left to the party closest to the existence of the problem. In solving educational problems in schools, those who know the most about the problem are the school members themselves, especially teachers, staff, principals and parents of students. The application of participatory management improves the quality and service of education so that SMAN 1 Paringin can compete and produce quality graduates both academically and non-academically. SBM will work well if school members have initiative in carrying out their work and each individual's initiative is valued. As for what happened at SMAN 1 Paringin, there was still a lack of initiative by school members due to a lack of sense of belonging to the school.
