Abstract

The main and supporting activities at General Hospital X include the Emergency Department (IGD), Outpatient Department, Inpatient Department, toilets, equipment washing, mosque, haemodialysis room, mortuary, nutrition, canteen, laundry installation, and laboratory. General Hospital X produces domestic wastewater and will be utilised for watering the Green Open Space in the General Hospital X area of 28,539.44 m2, with a volume of wastewater utilised of 120.2 m3 / day. The domestic wastewater from General Hospital X contains BOD5, COD, TSS, NH3-N, oil and grease, and total coliform. Before utilisation, the waste must be treated first until it reaches the proposed quality standards. Wastewater treatment is carried out using aerobic biofilter and anaerobic biofilter technology. The water requirement per 1 m2 for watering is 0.004 m3/m2/day with a watering frequency of 2 times a day.

Abstract

Renewable energy is increasingly popular and in demand throughout the world as an alternative to increasingly limited fossil energy, one of which is wind turbines. Wind turbine research on ships has great potential in developing renewable energy at sea. The aim of this research is to increase the efficiency of converting wind energy into electrical energy by designing a low cost wind turbine and analyzing the design efficiency of the wind turbine blade angle, namely 90˚, 95˚, 100˚. This research uses an experimental method with observation techniques, as well as measurement and recording as data collection techniques. This research was conducted on the Bung Tomo training ship for 3 days. The research results show that making a wind turbine using PVC as a base material costs Rp. 243,000.00 and produces the largest average voltage of 73.8 Wh. The influence of variations in the angle of the wind turbine blade can be seen that at an angle of 100˚ it has the largest average power output, namely 1.23 watts per minute and the battery charging time is based on an average current of 0.28 A, namely 12.5 hours when fully charged, whereas at The 90˚ angle produces the smallest average power of 0.76 watts per minute and the battery charging time is 16.6 hours when fully charged. So the 100˚ angle is more effective in charging the battery than the 95˚ and 90˚ angles. The greater the blade angle, the greater the rotation and produce greater voltage, this is influenced by the area of the turbine exposed to wind.

Abstract

Technological developments that occur in modern times like today have made us accustomed to using technology that makes everything easy and fast in doing many things, for example in the world of information and communication. Currently, the most important media and has the most extensive network is the internet. This internet media is developing very rapidly and always provides innovation to its users according to current needs. This case study aims to see the influence that the use of social media has on the learning motivation of Stella Maris Sumba University Students. Students are individuals who are easily influenced by both the environment and the people around them, it is even a student's responsibility to be influenced by various surrounding environments. The author tries to research students' learning motivation, because without learning motivation, students will not carry out their obligations as students. For the author, this is very interesting, because motivation is very important for individuals to do something. Because without motivation an individual will not be able to do anything, there is no encouragement or stimulation that moves the individual to do something

Sumba Kitchen offers a variety of food menus. Not just local specialty food. There is also a menu of Indonesian food such as meatballs, rawon, fried noodles and processed sea fish. There are also western dishes such as pizza, burgers and spaghetti. So for those of you who find it difficult or afraid to enjoy new dishes, you can choose Indonesian and Western menus which are already familiar to your tongue, this could be a solution. Another interesting thing apart from opening a restaurant and cafe, the owner of Dapur Sumba also opened a bakery called Galaxy Bakeries. So for tourists who want to buy snacks to snack on while traveling or who intend to buy souvenirs for people at home, you can buy them here. Dapur Sumba also provides HR (Human Resources) who are qualified to provide services in restaurants, cafes and bakeries. . The human resources prepared by the owner of Dapur Sumba are in the form of (reliability, responsiveness and empathy). This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction. There are three hypotheses developed in this research, namely: 1) Customer quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Data collection method is through distributing questionnaires to respondents directly. The respondents in this research were Sumba Kitchen customers. The number of questionnaires distributed was 98. The test technique used uses a validity test and a reliability test. Testing the first and second hypotheses uses a simple linear regression test. The research results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction

Abstract

Vehicular network is a network where vehicles communicate via an ad-hoc network system that runs based on certain ad-hoc routing protocols. A vehicle ad-hoc network consists of two communication parts known as vehicle-to-vehicle communication and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication. Even though the roads have become very congested with many vehicles, controlling vehicle movement has become an urgent need. Automatic traffic control, critical moment notifications, post-accident notifications, correct route selection become very important and these can be implemented using vehicle ad-hoc network systems. For good communication between vehicles, vehicle ad-hoc networks use several protocols. One of the problems faced by VANET is routing. Routing in VANETs can perform challenging tasks due to high mobility, network topology interference, and path selection processes. DSDV is one of the routing used in VANET and simulations were carried out with NS2 to obtain DSDV routing performance in the VANET network based on quality of service with scenarios of 25 and 33 nodes. DSDV routing was chosen because it has the best performance in its class. From the simulation results, the end to end delay for 25 nodes is 22.22 and 33 nodes is 24.07, the packet drop obtained for 25 nodes is 0.85, and 33 nodes is 0.80. Furthermore, the throughput value obtained in the simulation for 25 nodes is 274.19 and 33 nodes 351.12, then the packet delivery ratio for 25 nodes is 2990, and 33 nodes is 4888

Abstract

In the era of globalization, education has a very important role in all aspects of humanity. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a Motivational Analysis of the Performance of SDK KALENA WANNO Teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. Results: Research conducted at SDK Kelana Wanno in May 2024. The research subjects were SDK Kelana Wanno teachers. Conclusion The motivation of SDK Kelana Wanno teachers is mostly in the good category. In the era of globalization, education has a very important role in all aspects of humanity. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a Motivational Analysis of the Performance of SDK KALENA WANNO Teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. Abstract

Indonesia has implemented a policy of using biodiesel with a 30% biodiesel content, known as B30. The use of biodiesel also tends to have deposits that can clog fuel channels and filters. This can cause serious problems in the fuel system, especially blockages in the fuel filter. This research aims to find out which filter on the strainer is the most optimal in increasing the service life of the fuel filter on the 6374 CC diesel engine. In this study, the research approach used was a quantitative experimental type. The independent variable used in this research is the size of the filter on the strainer, namely 10 µm, 18 µm, and 20 µm, and the dependent variable is the service life of the fuel filter. With the data collection method using a filter density test tool. The data obtained was then processed into graphic data and analyzed using the one way anova method. The research results show that all strainer filters are able to increase filter life from 1,702 km to 5,106 km. The strainer filter with a size of 18 µm at km 5,106 is the most optimal filter. This happens because this filter does not require routine cleaning at every round-trip vehicle operation like a 10 µm size strainer filter and the discharge is slightly higher than a 20 µm size strainer filter.

Abstract

History is one of the important subjects in education in Indonesia. Studying history can help students understand the development of the nation and the noble values ​​contained therein. However, today's reality is that students tend to find it difficult and are not interested in history lessons. Because of the influence of several things such as technological developments, especially in social media, have a big influence on generation Z today, Based on the research results, it shows that social media, learning motivation has the highest and lowest values ​​for each variable. The organizational culture variable has the highest score for the mutual respect indicator from the research results showing a mean of 3.42 and the lowest score for the full initiative indicator from the research results shows a mean of 2.73. The social media variable has the highest score for the indicator of working in a team from the research results showing a mean of 3.30 and the lowest score for the indicator of mastery of work equipment from the research results shows a mean of 2.96. The motivation variable has the highest score for the productivity indicator from the research results showing a mean of 3.23 and the lowest score for the independence consideration indicator from the research results shows a mean of 2.65.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a smoke level detection device based on NodeMCU ESP32 with a room-scale ratio of 1:10. The issue at hand is the occurrence of two false alarms during sailing practices on the MT. SUPREME STAR due to the oversight of the galley Exhaust Fan activation by the cook, resulting in kitchen smoke escaping the room. The designed device is equipped with 4 MQ-135 sensors and an LCD, along with 4 ACS712 sensors to measure the smoke density in the galley in terms of ppm (Part Per Million). LED serves as a parameter for CO (Carbon Monoxide), and ACS712 is utilized to detect mA, determining whether the sensor can activate the Exhaust Fan, indicated by the detected mA. This research includes designing a device to detect smoke levels and automatically activate the Exhaust Fan, as well as understanding the operation of smoke sensors and the NodeMCU ESP32 Microcontroller. By using the "trial and error" research method, namely a series of experiments carried out repeatedly using different methods and materials. Test results indicate that the MQ-135 sensor has an average error ranging from -7.5% to +5.69%, influenced by input voltage. Additionally, IoT test results show that some sensors face difficulty in transmitting data due to voltage drop when Wi-Fi is enabLED. Overall system testing demonstrates that the device effectively controls smoke in the galley. The Exhaust Fan operates according to the predetermined program, and the LED provides an indicator of smoke opacity in accordance with the Air Pollution Standard Index. The MQ-135 sensor can prevent smoke emissions by automatically activating the Exhaust Fan when smoke levels are detected above 30 ppm. Thus, this device prototype can be a solution to address false alarm incidents, and its success indicates the potential use of MQ-135 sensors in the automation of smoke control systems in enclosed spaces.
