Abstract

One important aspect in choosing a vehicle is comfort, where the suspension plays a significant role. The main suspension component, namely the Shock Absorber, has a crucial role in minimizing vibrations and optimizing driving comfort. The function of the Shock Absorber depends on the viscosity value of the damper, which must support the effectiveness of the suspension. A quantitative experimental type approach was used by taking data using a Vibrator meter. The test is carried out by dropping a load on a load test tool with predetermined variables with the aim of obtaining vibration values ​​on the Shock Absorber. This type of synthetic oil with a viscosity of 77.22 mm²/s, which is used as a filler for the front shock absorber on e-bomber electric bicycles, has the lowest viscosity among other types of oil, resulting in the highest vibration speed. The type of mineral oil with a viscosity of 79.35 mm²/s, which is used as a filler for the front shock absorber on e-bomber electric bicycles, has the highest viscosity among other types of oil, resulting in the lowest vibration speed. This type of semi-synthetic oil with a viscosity of 78.31 mm²/s, has a viscosity that is between synthetic and mineral oil types, resulting in a higher vibration speed compared to synthetic oil types but lower than mineral oil types.

Abstract

The safety and protection of the hydraulic crane is an important aspect that ensures the charging operation runs safely and efficiently, this study aims to provide protection against crane damage and minimize work accidents by providing overload detection sensors using loadcells and hx711 as the primary sensor in charging this device. This tool is a miniature crane that uses a servo motor and a DC motor as a replacement for the hydraulic on the crane. Where the same function, to move the arm of the crane and crane can rotate left, right, and up. The researchers used prototype methods to build and develop prototypes of cranes. To monitor this control system, use ESP32 as the transmitter and receiver of the joystick motion response. The received data will be processed and displayed on the LCD. Testing this device can detect how much load is lifted and detect if the load is over lifted, the device's operating system will lower the load again if overloaded.

Abstract

Technological advances in motorized transportation are progressing rapidly, making motorized vehicles the main mode of transportation. The increasing number of motorized vehicles in society results in a significant increase in exhaust emissions. Combustion in vehicle engines is not always perfect, producing exhaust gases containing compounds harmful to human health, such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon dioxide (CO2), and nitrogen oxides (NOx). This study investigates the effect of variations in piston dome shape on exhaust emissions in a 100cc internal combustion engine using RON 90 fuel. The goal is to find the optimal compression ratio to produce cleaner exhaust emissions. The research data are presented in tabular form and analyzed using one-way ANOVA and graphs. The results showed a significant reduction in CO and HC emissions at all engine speeds (1000, 2000, 4000, and 5000 rpm) with variations in piston dome shape. The reduction in CO emissions ranged from 55.07% to 85.73%, while the reduction in HC emissions ranged from 54.14% to 86.10%. These results suggest that variations in piston dome shape can be an effective solution to minimize harmful exhaust emissions in internal combustion engines.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, communication and work motivation on employee performance at PT XYZ. This research used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population was 507 respondents. The sample used 223 respondents. The sampling method is probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis used the validity test and reliability test of the Partial Least Square (PLS) program version 4.0 based on the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results show that leadership style does not affect employee performance while communication and work motivation have a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

One of the important things in supporting the operational management of the building which is part of the building's mechanical and electrical aspects is the building's domestic liquid waste management system. The availability of liquid waste production cannot be separated from the performance of the Sewage Treatment Plan (STP) machine as a work tool that produces domestic liquid waste production in HDI Hive Menteng Building. STP machine maintenance is one of the important factors in ensuring the quality of liquid waste production in accordance with the Environmental Service (DLH) quality standards. The machine maintenance system can be used as a benchmark for measuring the effectiveness of STP machines. Machine performance with a high rhythm without stopping 24 hours which continues to increase and is comparable to the tenant accoupancy level, of course requires anticipatory action for machine breakdown problems. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a method used to measure and maximize machine effectiveness based on three categories, namely Availability rate, Performance rate, Quality rate. From the results of calculating the OEE value for the STP machine at PT. Gaia Care International) of 82.96%, in general the OEE value is still below the JIPM standard value, namely greater than 85%. For this reason, in this research, an analysis was carried out using a fishbone diagram, which is used to determine the causes and effects of not achieving the effectiveness of the STP machine. Based on the results of the Fish Bone Diagram analysis with several factors including; Machines, methods, people and materials can be concluded as factors that cause a decrease in the OEE value of STP machines, namely rework losses which are quite high so that they affect the Quality OEE value in STP machine measurements. The proposal given to increase the effectiveness of the STP Machine for controlling Rework Losses is to improve the general cleaning routine and increase the Backwash Pump Capacity in the aeration tank and Inlet.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of sensor type on the percentage error in an STM32-based parking sensor system by comparing the HY-SRF05 and JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensors. The aim of this research is to determine the accuracy of each sensor in distance measurement and identify the more reliable sensor for parking sensor applications. The methodology includes installing both sensors on the STM32 system, measuring distances at various intervals, and analyzing the percentage error. The results indicate that the HY-SRF05 sensor exhibits a lower percentage error compared to the JSN-SR04T across all tested distances, from 50 cm to 300 cm. The average percentage error for the HY-SRF05 is 1.78%, while for the JSN-SR04T it is 2.6%. The conclusion of this research is that the HY-SRF05 sensor is more accurate and reliable than the JSN-SR04T for STM32-based parking sensor applications.

Abstract

Along with the development of the digital era, the use of e-Learning has become inevitable. Almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia, are implementing e-learning in the world of education. However, to be able to implement e-learning successfully, there are several determining factors for success that must be met. The determining factors for the success of implementing e-learning cannot be separated from how management is carried out by an institution in implementing learning using e-learning. The success of e-learning implementation is also influenced by the level of user satisfaction. The successful implementation of e-learning can also influence students' interest in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the factors determining the success of e-learning implementation and their influence on students' interest in learning. The research method used is quantitative research. The conclusion obtained from the results of this research is that there are 2 factors that determine success in implementing e-learning, management of the content development process and management of the e-learning environment. E-learning environment management has a significant influence on four constructs of student learning interest, namely involvement, interest, acceptance and feelings of enjoyment. And management of the content development process has a significant effect on acceptance and feelings of enjoyment. So the research results show that E-Learning Environment management has a significant effect on interest in learning, while Content Development Process management for buying gas only has a significant effect on aspects of acceptance and feelings of pleasure.

Abstract

CV Mandiri Abadi is a manufacturing industry that operates on a make-to-order system, specifically for side chair products, necessitating a carefully considered scheduling system. Issues with the use of manual drilling machines causing delays in component deliveries to the warehouse prompted an evaluation of optimal production scheduling using the shortest processing time (SPT) method. This study includes detailed calculations to determine average completion time, utilization, average job time, and average job delay. Analysis results show that using manual drilling machines achieved an average completion time of 854.28 minutes, a proposed utilization improvement of 28%, an average job time of 3.46 minutes, and an average delay of 614.14 minutes. This approach is more effective in optimizing processing time and reducing delivery delays. Therefore, the use of the shortest processing time (SPT) method is recommended to improve production performance within the company.

Abstract

Cv.Multi Teknik Perkasa (MTP) is an individual company which operates in the field of tools, commonly known as lathes. This company handles repair, cutting and scraping of working media such as iron, steel and others. CV. Multi Teknik Perkasa (MTP) uses a 3 phase induction motor for each production process. One of the lathe driving machines used is a 3 phase 380V induction motor with 6KVA power. This induction motor has a Mini Circuit Breaker (MCB), Contactor, and Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) protection system, which functions as an overload controller so that the electric motor is not easily burned or damaged due to overload. For Mini Circuit Breaker (MCB), which in accordance with the standards of the National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA). According to research results, the correct size is 25 A while the installed one is 20 A, which of course is not appropriate. For contactors, which are installed at 65 A while the analysis results are 12 A, the three-phase induction motor protection system must be updated or improved. Previously using DiazedFuse (fuse), replaced with a contactor with a current setting of 12 A, so that the motor can avoid being damaged or burned due to the load. Moreover, to find out the power requirements of the induction motor to carry out the turning process, you need the tools to do it, including amper pliers, thermogun, tachometer, so the motor power for turning without load is 5.5A while with a 0.5mm tire the motor power increases to 6A and the maximum load limit is 1mm turning motor power 12A.

Abstract

From this research, monitoring can be carried out using the XH-M203 water level which can run a wireless sensor to measure the water in the tank and then the results of these measurements will give a command to the pump to fill the tank. This tool is made to automatically control the height and automatically fill the tank. The design of this tool is based on the fact that some ships still use a manual system in the form of a float gauge to monitor water levels, so by designing this tool the monitoring and control process will be easier. System testing shows that the system is able to control water levels with high accuracy and is responsive to changes in water levels. The results of this research are that the XH-M203 water level is able to detect height and automatically control the simulated tank. The results of the detection are processed through a controller and LED as a marker for high and low levels so that all parties can know the water level in the tank. Then automatic control uses a pump which will fill automatically so that the tank capacity can be controlled through this tool. With 6 trials of 90% capacity in calm water there was an error of 0.01% and 90% capacity with the tank shaking there was an error of 0.01%. The next test with a tank capacity of 60% in still water conditions has an error of 0% and a capacity of 60% there is vibration there is a 0% error, and testing with a tank capacity of 30% in still water conditions there is an error of 0% and at 30% capacity there is vibration in the tank there is an error of 0 %. So this tool can work with an accuracy of 99.98% and a tool error of 0.02%.
