Abstract

Environmental and sustainability issues are currently important in economic activities. One of the widely discussed environmental and sustainability issues is air pollution from coal burning in power plants (PLTU), which is not environmentally friendly or renewable. Besides the benefits felt, especially in electrical energy, it has negative economic, social, and environmental impacts, especially for local communities. Therefore, solutions are needed to minimize the negative impacts. The first three stages of design thinking, empathize, define, and ideate, become the initial stages to validate the ideas generated before further implementation. Literature study results show that idea generation is done using an empathy map in the empathize stage. The empathize stage indicates that handling air pollution from coal burning in PLTU is not yet optimal, causing public anxiety due to the resulting impacts. Therefore, efforts are needed to minimize the negative impacts. The define stage explains that emissions contributed by coal-fired power plants amount to 35%, and the sustainability of coal fuel is still questionable, thus requiring other fuel sources and a concept to obtain this biomass. The ideate stage produces a community ecosystem model through an intercropping pattern of energy crops that offers increased economic, social, and environmental benefits and reduces the negative impacts of air pollution from coal burning.

Kenikmatan Duniawi has been established since 2021, even though it has been established for 3 years, of course, Kenikmatan Duniawi still has many considerable challenges for its owners, such as limited human resources, marketing that is still passive, and many UMKM that sell Sourdough. This study aims to determine the business strategy needed by Kenikmatan Duniawi based on SWOT analysis. The variables in this study are SWOT and the SWOT matrix. This research uses qualitative methods, including data analysis techniques such as interviews, documentation, and field notes.

Abstract

This study examines the role of zakat in empowering micro-enterprises in Pangkep Regency, focusing on effective management strategies to optimize its impact on economic development. The study aims to address two key questions: (1) How does Baznas Pangkep Regency, Indonesia, implement zakat management to support micro-enterprise empowerment? (2) How effective are the empowerment programs in enhancing the capacity and independence of the mustahik? This research employs a phenomenological approach using qualitative methods. The analytical framework is based on Henry Fayol's management theory and Marc A. Zimmerman's empowerment theory. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Baznas administrators and beneficiaries (mustahik), direct observation of program implementation, and document analysis of policies and activity reports from Baznas. The findings reveal that Baznas Pangkep Regency applies five management functions in zakat management: planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising. Planning is conducted through socialization and zakat fund mobilization strategies. Organizing involves implementing micro-enterprise empowerment programs through skills training and business capital distribution. Directing is done by assigning personnel according to their expertise to ensure program effectiveness. Coordination occurs through a transparent and participatory administrative system, while supervision includes internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Sharia principles and zakat fund accountability. The impact of the empowerment programs shows an increase in the income and business scale of the mustahik, contributing to their overall well-being. However, key challenges identified include the lack of continuous training and limited business mentoring. Based on Zimmerman's empowerment theory, the program has enhanced the mustahik's capacity to manage their businesses more independently. This study recommends that Baznas enhance program effectiveness by strengthening continuous training, business mentoring, and developing innovative zakat fund mobilization and distribution strategies to support the sustainability of micro-enterprise empowerment programs.

Abstract

A notary is a public official authorised to draw up authentic deeds and process legal documents, such as letters of agreement, deeds of sale, and other important documents with legal force. Although signed by the parties, the documents drawn up by a notary are not treated as authentic documents and have only the force of private writing (Article 1869 of the Civil Code). The definition of an authentic deed is contained in Article 1868 of the Civil Code, which states that an authentic deed is a deed drawn up in a form prescribed by law, by or in the presence of public officials authorised to do so, in the place where the deed is drawn up. The Notaries Act requires notaries to read documents in the presence of the parties. Article 16(7) UUJN regulates the obligation of notaries to read documents in front of the parties. A deed not read in front of the parties may become private, lose its evidential force, and be considered null and void.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cash flow, net profit, and dividend policy on stock prices in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) companies from 2019 to 2023. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. The study results show that Cash Flow positively and significantly affects the Stock Price of companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for 2019-2023. This is evidenced by the t-count value (2.389) > t-table (2.080) and the significance value of 0.026 < 0.05., Net Profit has been proven to positively and significantly influence the stock price. This conclusion is supported by the t-count value (2.603) > the t-table (2.080) with a significance of 0.016 < 0.05. The Spearman correlation also shows a strong positive relationship (0.712) with a significance of 0.000. The IV policy shows a positive and significant influence on the Stock Price, as evidenced by the t-count value (2,510) > t-table (2,080) and the significance of 0.020 < 0.05. The Spearman correlation showed a strong positive relationship (0.683) with a significance of 0.000. Moreover, simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affected the Stock Price. This is shown by the value of F-count (18.147) > F-table (3.07) with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.717 shows that the three independent variables can explain 71.7% of the stock price variation. In contrast, 28.3% is explained by other factors outside the research model that have satisfied all classical assumptions, including normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity. The Chi-Square test also confirmed a significant relationship between all independent variables and the Stock Price. Thus, it can be concluded that this research model is valid and reliable in explaining the influence of cash flow, net profit, and dividend policy on stock prices in companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII).

Abstract

This study explores the impact of digital consumer engagement strategies—specifically personalization, gamification, and influencer marketing—on consumer interaction and brand loyalty in the digital marketing landscape. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with marketing professionals and consumers, alongside content analysis of brand-consumer interactions on social media platforms. The findings reveal that personalization enhances consumer trust and satisfaction by tailoring marketing content to individual preferences, but ethical concerns regarding data privacy must be addressed to maintain engagement. Gamification fosters intrinsic motivation and habitual brand interaction through reward-based systems and social competition, proving effective in sustaining long-term engagement. Additionally, influencer marketing significantly influences consumer perceptions and purchase intentions, particularly when micro-influencers—who are perceived as more relatable and credible—are involved in brand collaborations. However, challenges such as content saturation, privacy concerns, and diminishing engagement effectiveness over time necessitate continuous adaptation of digital marketing strategies. The study contributes to theoretical advancements in consumer engagement research while providing practical implications for marketers, emphasizing the need for dynamic, consumer-centric digital strategies that align with evolving consumer expectations in competitive online environments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the copyright dispute between the song Halo-Halo Bandung, created by Ismail Marzuki, and the song Hello Kuala Lumpur, uploaded by a YouTube account from Malaysia. This study aims to identify the background of the dispute and analyze its resolution based on the Copyright Act and international standards. The research method used is normative law with a case study approach. The song's authenticity is assessed through a comparative analysis of the melody, lyrics, and musical structure, and is supported by a plagiarism detection tool. The study results indicate that Hello Kuala Lumpur has substantial similarities with Halo-Halo Bandung, so it is suspected of violating copyright. The dispute can be resolved through negotiation (Alternative Dispute Resolution), arbitration, or civil lawsuits in the Commercial Court. From an international law perspective, this case highlights the role of the Berne Convention and WIPO in resolving cross-border copyright disputes. The potential legal impacts of this case include a precedent for protecting works of art at the ASEAN level and strengthening copyright regulations in Indonesia. The solutions offered include stopping the distribution of plagiarized songs, compensating the original creators, and increasing awareness and compliance with copyright in the future.
