Abstract

This study explores the impact of visual marketing elements on consumer purchasing behavior within the fashion e-commerce industry, focusing on visual aesthetics, user-generated content (UGC), and influencer endorsements. Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 25 participants to capture in-depth insights into how visual cues shape consumer perceptions, build trust, and influence purchase intentions. Thematic analysis of the data revealed three main findings: high-quality visuals evoke emotional responses that increase product appeal, UGC serves as a crucial factor in establishing trust and reducing purchase hesitation, and influencer endorsements significantly impact consumer decision-making by adding perceived value and trend relevance. These findings contribute to existing theories, such as the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model, by illustrating the diverse ways in which visual stimuli influence consumer behavior on emotional, social, and practical levels. Managerial implications include the strategic use of high-quality visuals, encouragement of UGC, and selection of authentic influencers to enhance consumer engagement and conversion. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of how visual marketing shapes consumer behavior in fashion e-commerce, offering valuable insights for both academic research and practical applications in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

This research examines the shift in authority and processes related to the certification of fishing vessels in Indonesia after the enactment of Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the legal force and implications of the transfer of authority from the Ministry of Transportation to the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) in issuing fish vessel certifications. Using a normative juridical approach, this study investigates the procedural changes, challenges, and impacts of the new regulatory framework on fishing vessel safety and compliance. The findings show that the Job Creation Law simplifies licensing procedures while ensuring the safety and seaworthiness of fishing vessels. However, the study also highlights the challenges posed by a shortage of qualified inspectors, leading to delays in the certification process. This research underscores the need for regulatory adjustments and additional inspector training to align the maritime sector with the law’s goal of promoting safety and business efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether job satisfaction influences employee retention at CV. Golden Mart and to measure the extent of this influence. The research problem addressed is whether job satisfaction significantly affects employee retention in this organization. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving statistical analysis to draw conclusions. The population of this study consists of all 30 employees of CV. Golden Mart, and the entire population was used as the sample. Data collection utilized both primary and secondary sources. The findings of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee retention. This conclusion is supported by data processing results showing a significance value (Sig.) of less than 0.05. The reliability test demonstrated Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.886 for the job satisfaction variable and 0.842 for the employee retention variable, indicating that both variables are reliable as their Cronbach's Alpha values exceed 0.6. Furthermore, autocorrelation analysis using the runs test method yielded a value of 0.041, suggesting no autocorrelation in the data since the significant value exceeds 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R Square) was calculated at 0.787, indicating that 79% of employee retention can be explained by job satisfaction. The t-test results further confirmed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, affirming a significant influence of job satisfaction on employee retention at CV. Golden Mart in Gunungsitoli. The analysis also highlights specific indicators of job satisfaction and employee retention. For the job satisfaction variable, the strongest indicators include supervision, wages/salary, and coworker relationships, while weaker indicators are job characteristics and promotion opportunities. Regarding employee retention, the most prominent indicators are organizational components, rewards, and employee relations, whereas career opportunities and job design are the least significant. These findings provide valuable insights into the relationship between job satisfaction and employee retention at CV. Golden Mart.

Abstract

In an increasingly digital era, companies must adapt quickly to remain competitive in a competitive global market. Digital capability, which is the organization's ability to utilize digital technology in all aspects of its operations, is the main key in achieving competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital capability on supply chain innovation performance through digital innovation in manufacturing companies in Bogor. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey using a questionnaire evaluated by a panel of experts. Data were collected from 140 respondents of manufacturing companies in Bogor and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results showed that digital capability has no significant influence on supply chain innovation performance (p-value 0.380 > 0.05). Meanwhile, digital capability has a significant positive influence on digital innovation (p-value 0.033 < 0.05). On the other hand, digital innovation has no significant impact on supply chain innovation performance (p-value 0.484 > 0.05), and digital capability also has no significant effect on supply chain innovation performance through digital innovation based on the mediation flow of direct and indirect (p-value 0.421 > 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that although digital capability can drive digital innovation, it does not necessarily improve supply chain innovation performance directly. Suggestions for future research are to involve more companies from various locations and use mixed quantitative-qualitative research methods to increase validity and in-depth understanding. In addition, there is a need to explore other factors that may affect supply chain innovation performance to strengthen digital capability and digital innovation strategies in manufacturing companies.
