Abstract

Harmonizing regional regulations is important to ensure that local regulations do not conflict with national policies and regulations. The focus of this research is the role of the North Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in harmonizing Gunung Sitoli City Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2012 concerning the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW). This research investigates documents through a descriptive qualitative approach to provide an in-depth overview of the harmonization process, the challenges faced, and the impact of policy implementation. The research results show that the North Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is key in aligning regional spatial planning regulations (Perda RTRW) with national regulations. The harmonization process involves a review of substance and technical aspects, the preparation of recommendations, and coordination between local governments and related agencies. However, the research also identified various constraints, such as limited resources and differences in technical interpretation, that affect the effectiveness of harmonization. The effectiveness evaluation shows that the harmonization process successfully improved the alignment of RTRW regional regulations with national policies, although some minor adjustments are needed. The positive impact of this harmonization includes improved coordination between government agencies and a more substantial legal basis for implementing RTRW. The recommendations from this study include improvements in the harmonization process and policy adjustments to address the identified implementation challenges. This research is expected to enhance the understanding of regulatory harmonization mechanisms and improve the effectiveness of spatial planning policies in Gunung Sitoli City through the strategic role of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of convenience, trustworthiness, and price on customer perceived value in the context of online food delivery services in Indonesia. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to users of online food delivery services using purposive sampling, with a total of 200 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the relationships between these variables. The results of the study indicate that convenience and price have a significant positive effect on customer perceived value. Conversely, trustworthiness does not show a significant impact on customer perceived value. These findings suggest that the convenience of using the application and competitive pricing are key factors in enhancing customer perceived value. Therefore, online food delivery service companies are advised to continuously improve features that provide convenience and offer competitive pricing to maintain and enhance customer perceived value.

Currently, advertising development is progressing very rapidly. The progress in advertising development is accompanied by increasingly tight competition between producers of goods or services who use advertising services to inform about the products or services they produce. Advertising is a special form of communication that fulfills marketing functions. Social media is a means that allows users to present themselves or communicate with various texts, images, videos, and form social bonds virtually. This research aims to discover how social media advertising influences guests' decisions when choosing a hotel in Gunungsitoli. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach; researchers also use questionnaires in data collection. Researchers tested the hypothesis using multiple regression analysis techniques, and the calculations were assisted by utilizing the software program SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) version 26. This research found that the social media advertising variable (X) hypothesis was accepted and partially positively and significantly influenced guest decisions. (Y) Choose a hotel in the city of Gunungsitoli. Then this research also found that Media Advertising (X) had an influence of 0.500 or 50% on the guest's decision to choose a hotel in the city of Gunungsitoli. Meanwhile, the other 50% is influenced by different factors.

Abstract

Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory posits that the relationship quality between leaders and their subordinates significantly influences various aspects of the workplace, including employee satisfaction, retention, and overall performance. The primary purpose of this research is to analyse the effects of high-quality LMX relationships on job satisfaction, career development, and employee retention. Recognising the vital role of effective leadership in enhancing employee engagement and organisational performance motivates this study. As workplaces become increasingly complex, understanding LMX dynamics is crucial for developing strategies to improve satisfaction and retention. The study aims to fill gaps in existing literature to inform future research and practical applications. Employing a qualitative approach, this study conducts a comprehensive literature review of existing research on LMX theory. It synthesises theoretical models, empirical studies, and case analyses to robustly understand LMX relationships and their implications in diverse organisational contexts. The literature reveals that high-quality LMX relationships characterised by mutual trust, support, and respect significantly impact employee satisfaction and retention. Employees with solid leader relationships report higher job satisfaction and commitment, leading to improved performance and lower turnover rates. The findings underscore the need for leaders to enhance trust and support within their teams through recognition and career development opportunities. Organisations prioritising these elements will likely experience increased employee satisfaction and performance, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to the demands of the community for fast, precise, and efficient implementation of public services. The government innovates by implementing an e-government system, or electronic-based public services. This research uses a qualitative approach and concentrates on the effectiveness of state administrative law on online public services. This research shows that the effects of the e-government program are close to efficient, as shown by the number of people who have been able to use e-government services. However, not all Indonesians can use these services, as shown by the large number of people in areas where people are still poor and technology illiterate, and there are still many areas that do not have e-government services.

Abstract

Management is coordinating the resources owned by a company to achieve goals. According to Ricky W. Griffin, Management is a process of planning, organizational processes, coordination processes, and the process of controlling resources to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. However, based on facts in the field obtained from observations, there are several problems in the implementation of production management, namely, the direction function and the control function have not been running properly. This research was conducted at the Aria Chips Home Industry, Jl.Nusa Indah SP 2 Kelurahan. Of course, the district. Mariat Sorong Regency. The research method used is Qualitative Descriptive, namely researching the reality in the research field. Based on the research results, the application of home industry production management of Aria Usaha Chips has implemented five management functions per Ricky W. Griffin's theory. However, the implementation of production management has not run optimally because the direction and control section has not been carried out properly. The impact of the application of production management on the development of the home industry is the difficulty of obtaining raw materials for products; raw materials for Aria chips greatly affect the quality of the product.

Abstract

Environmental and sustainability issues are currently important in economic activities. One of the widely discussed environmental and sustainability issues is air pollution from coal burning in power plants (PLTU), which is not environmentally friendly or renewable. Besides the benefits felt, especially in electrical energy, it has negative economic, social, and environmental impacts, especially for local communities. Therefore, solutions are needed to minimize the negative impacts. The first three stages of design thinking, empathize, define, and ideate, become the initial stages to validate the ideas generated before further implementation. Literature study results show that idea generation is done using an empathy map in the empathize stage. The empathize stage indicates that handling air pollution from coal burning in PLTU is not yet optimal, causing public anxiety due to the resulting impacts. Therefore, efforts are needed to minimize the negative impacts. The define stage explains that emissions contributed by coal-fired power plants amount to 35%, and the sustainability of coal fuel is still questionable, thus requiring other fuel sources and a concept to obtain this biomass. The ideate stage produces a community ecosystem model through an intercropping pattern of energy crops that offers increased economic, social, and environmental benefits and reduces the negative impacts of air pollution from coal burning.
