Abstract

Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a method used to control the availability of raw material planning for a product. MRP is a better inventory planning and scheduling technique for a unit of product produced. Problems at PT. Maju Jaya Prima Batu Bata. that has been implemented and researched by the author is about the availability of planning for raw materials for brick products, so that it is successful and on time as expected and in order to fulfill the ever-changing demand in each period. For this reason, proper planning is needed for the planning needs of red brick raw material inventory to run effectively and efficiently. Planning material requirements using the MRP method in this paper uses the lot sizing method, where the lot sizing methods used are Lot-for-lot, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ), as well as using Moving Average and Simple forecasting. Average to find out the need for raw materials in the future. Based on the results of the smallest MSE calculation, the method chosen is the Moving Average with a value of 72,211,414. Based on the results of the MRP calculation with the lot sizing technique, namely POQ, resulting in a total cost of 1,939,788 orders for the minimum raw material, POQ is used as a solution for controlling raw material inventory at PT. Maju Jaya Prima Batu Bata.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of job descriptions on employee performance with compensation as an intervening variable on employees of PT. Karya Hevea Indonesia. The research method used is the method of qualitative data and quantitative data. While the data used is primary data. The data analysis method in this study uses simple linear regression analysis to obtain a comprehensive picture of the effect of job description variables on employee performance with compensation as an intervening variable for employees of PT. Karya Hevea Indonesia using the SPSS 25 for Windows program. To find out whether there is a significant effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, a simple linear regression model is used. The results of hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis and t-test indicate that: the t-table value of the job description variable is 4.181 > the t-table value (df:38, : 5%) is 1.685 so it can be concluded that the job description has a positive effect and significant to employee performance. Furthermore, from table 4.17 it can also be seen that the t-table value of the compensation variable is 1.186 < the t-table value (df:38, : 5%) of 1.685 so it can be concluded that compensation has no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Cash Receipt Accounting System and Procedures at SPI Hotel. The purpose of this study is to find out how the accounting system and procedures for cash receipts at the SPI hotel are. Based on research conducted by Hotel SPI on the cash receipts accounting system, it can be concluded that there are obstacles that can harm the hotel, including: Decreased cash receipts due to the Covid 19 pandemic which makes employees nervous and commits fraud. Controlling functions related to the hotel are somewhat lacking well, even though the schedule of the employees at the reception has been divided based on the shifts, there are still carelessness that causes losses to the hotel. Regarding the documents used in the company, it is based on existing theory, but so that the evidence owned by the company can be used properly for each function, it is necessary to add documents that are more accurate and more effective when using technology. The accounting used in the cash receipts system at the SPI Hotel is not in accordance with the theory that underlies it. The accounting records used are only revenue recapitulation, the company should be able to record in the form of cash receipts journals. The receptionist took inappropriate actions when recording room reservation data that had been registered on a special online application for users. When the receptionist checks the incoming booking, the reservation should be reported directly to a third party. But the reporting procedure is not carried out by the receptionist. So that it becomes a problem that is very influential for the hotel, if it continues to be left without good control it will have a very bad impact.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance with length of work as a moderating variable at PT. Gotong Royong Jaya Mendaris. In this study, data were collected through a questionnaire method to 48 respondents, employees of PT. Gotong Royong Jaya Mendaris Maintenance Section using the census method. Then the analysis was carried out using the descriptive analysis method. That includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing through t-test and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the Absolute Difference Test which serves to prove the research hypothesis. The data that has met the validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test are processed to produce the following regression equation: Y = 6.439 + 1.328X - 0.244Z. With 1 Independent Variable, 1 Dependent Variable and 1 Moderating Variable, it shows that. Hypothesis 1 states that work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. From table 4.15, the tcount value is 3,416. With = 5%, ttable (5%; nk = 46) the ttable value is 2,013. From the description it can be seen that tcount (3.416) > t table (2,013), as well as the significance value of 0.001 <0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the work motivation variable (X) has an effect on the employee performance variable (Y). Hypothesis 2 states that the variable length of service (Z) has no effect on the employee performance variable (Y). From table 4.15, the tcount value is -0.743. With = 5%, ttable (5%; nk = 46) the ttable value is -2.013. From this description it can be seen that tcount (-0.743) > ttable (-2.013), and the significance of which is 0.461 > 0.05, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is rejected, meaning that the variable length of work (Z) has no effect on the employee performance variable (Y). Meanwhile, hypothesis 3 states that the length of work variable (Z) cannot moderate the effect of the work motivation variable (X) on the employee performance variable (Y). From table 4.16 obtained a value of -0.629 with a significance value of 0.532 > 0.05 that the parameter coefficient value is negative but not significant. Where it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is rejected.
