<![CDATA[This research aims to describe the application of code-mixing and code-switching as one of English learning methods in Politeknik eLBajo Commodus, particularly in Basic English Class. The method of this research is field observation during the time of Basic English. Several example speeches which contain code-mixing and code-switching during the class are used as the data. The data is then analyzed by the theory to find out the contexts and types of code-mixing and code-switching that happened in the Basic English Class. The result shows that code-mixing is used in some contexts, such as in welcome greeting, small talk before the class starts, to open the lecture, while giving the lecture, and interact with each other in the class. All those are outer code-mixing. As for code-switching, there are situational and metaphoris code-switching, and both in insertion and alternation. The code-switching is used when the students still use bahasa Indonesia more often. When there are students that do not understand the questions, and as a translation from bahasa Indonesia, if needed, code-switching is applied. This research shows that the code-mixing and code-switching can be used as English teaching method and the lecturer must control the use itself so that English is still being the main language in the English class.]]>

<![CDATA[The study is aimed to find out the implementation of the principal's managerial competence in managing school and community relations through the school development program at SDN 3 Lape, Sumbawa Regency. The results of the research can be used by the school, especially at SDN 3 Lape to maximize their existing programs by involving related parties. The research will also provide an overview to the local governments regarding the implementation of school and community relations management executed by school. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data acquisition in this study are gathered by interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, (3) drawing conclusions and verification. Meanwhile data validation is executed by using triangulation of sources and methods. The study showed : 1) Implementation of the principal of SDN 3 Lape’s abilities from the aspects of coordination, interaction and communication was shown by coordination with the school committee to run meetings on supportting school development programs, building a cultural stage. 2) The implementation of the principal's managerial competence in establishing school and community relations involving alumni on the development of school programs at SDN 3 Lape has not been fully organized. Similarly, the school principal’s competency in establishing partnerships with the business world has not been maximally conducted by the school, it is shown by no collaboration document in the form of a MoU.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the strategy of women's leadership in increasing competitiveness in the AL-Kalam Vocational School, Lebak Regency. Principals as leaders of educational institutions need to renew strategies in dealing with educational competitiveness. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Activities in data analysis are: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that there were 9 strategies for female school principals in dealing with or increasing competitiveness, namely: pricing strategies, promotion strategies, improving school management, providing training for teachers, carrying out learning innovations, creating school character or characteristics, working with the industrial business world, hospitality and good communication.]]>

<![CDATA[Language development in Early Childhood includes expressive language and receptive language. The ability to read in children is included in receptive language. Based on the results of observations at Budi Mulia Dua Sedayu Kindergarten that the use of playing techniques using letter cards is a separate motivation for children to learn to recognize words and learn to read while playing. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that is used to describe reading techniques using word cards which are carried out using the playing method. The subjects in this study were group B children at Budi Mulia Dua Sedayu Kindergarten. The data obtained from this study were obtained from teacher interviews, observations, and documentation. The techniques used in conducting data analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study obtained the final data that the ability of children who were originally included in the Undeveloped (BB) criteria in reading ability was progressing about 59%. The conclusion from the results of this study is that word cards given using playing methods are effective for improving children's reading skills if teachers and parents work together to motivate children to learn to read and there is a child's willingness to learn.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on teacher loyalty at SMPIT Al lauzah. The method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all 30 teachers at SMPIT Al Lauzah. The analytical tools used in this study are simple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, and the t test. Data processing uses SPSS 21 statistics for windows. Based on the research results it is known that simultaneously compensation has a significant and positive effect on teacher loyalty, that there is a compensation effect on student teacher loyalty at SMPIT Al Lauzah of 23.1%. And the situation with the regression coefficient of the variable X of 1.417 means that for each increase in compensation by one unit, it will lead to an increase in loyalty by 1.417.]]>

<![CDATA[Components that influence student learning success are those that originate within students (interest and motivation) and from outside students such as the environment, social, teacher learning methods, and so on. Interest in learning Indonesian at MAN 1 Pulang Pisau is categorized as low due to a lack of student learning motivation, so there are still many low grades. Even though this school is one of the favorite schools with a large enough number of students because it is the only Islamic-based school and has been accredited A. The purpose of this study is to describe how motivation influences learning on student learning outcomes of MAN 1 Pulang Pisau, by applying differentiated learning designed by the teacher Indonesian. This research method is descriptive qualitative method. The population in this study were all students of class X and the sample in the study was class X IPS II MAN I Pulang Pisau. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing learning in class and distributing questionnaires. The data taken is the result of student learning in the form of written tests and questionnaire results which are distributed in the form of a questionnaire. Then the data is described descriptively and a final conclusion is drawn. Based on the results of the study, students' learning motivation in differentiated learning can improve student learning outcomes. Students are more active and enthusiastic in participating in learning, more confident, and able to respect others.]]>

<![CDATA[Reading interest still a polemic that has not been resolved until now. Considering this problem requires support from various parties to be able to increase children's reading interest such as parents, educational institutions and the community environment itself. This research aims to find out the efforts of the Indonesian Literacy Sohib Community in increasing the reading interest of children. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive types of research. Data collection methods used are observation, interview and documentation. The subjects in this study were eleven informants consisting of one community leader, 5 children in active activities, and 5 mothers of children. The results of the research show that the community not only strives to provide information sources such as places to provide information sources such as books, children's magazines, comics, novels and as a link between information sources and knowledge with users to increase their reading interest but also as teachers for children who are still unable to read, train more positive children's social The benefits of the presence of this community are not only felt by direct children but also parents. Parents find it helpful to the presence of this community such as the ability to read it develop and decrease negative behavior.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education subjects through the application of Jigsaw-type cooperative learning in grade IIIB students of SDK Yos Sudarso Maumere. The type of research used is classroom action research with two cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade IIIB students consisting of 22 students. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model in learning was classified as very good and was able to trigger maximum student involvement in the learning process so as to improve learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes have changed for the better after applying the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in learning. Student learning outcomes improve because students are very enthusiastic and actively participate with the application of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the use of report card processing applications in improving the technological abilities of teachers at PKPPS Al Hidayah Karangsuci. The research method used is a case study approach using a qualitative approach. The time for the research was carried out for one month, from February 1 to March 1 2023. The research subjects consisted of school principals, curriculum representatives, and homeroom teachers. Data collection techniques namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the use of a report card processing application has the potential to provide convenience and efficiency in managing report card grades. Teachers can reduce the time needed to calculate and process data manually by using this application. However, weaknesses were also found in terms of lack of facilities and infrastructure which could affect the teacher's enthusiasm in learning and understanding grade processing applications.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the Independent Learning Policy of the Independent Campus at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program at the University of Flores. Respondent data was obtained as a whole (Sample Saturated) from the number of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program at the University of Flores as many as 117 people, using qualitative descriptive research methods. The results showed that the understanding of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students only knew a little about the Independent Campus Independent Learning Policy (MBKM) of 66.96 percent with 59.05 percent of information sources obtained from online/offline socialization activities organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Learning activities outside of the study program that are most dominantly chosen by Indonesian Language and Literature Education students are Village Building or Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKNT) and Student Exchanges of 38.10 percent, and students who declare readiness to participate in the Independent Learning Campus Policy (MBKM) by 90.48 percent. The survey results also show that students feel that MBKM activities in developing competence/skills as a provision for work after graduation are 88.57 percent. Students also feel interested in the MBKM program held by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology 94.29 percent and recommend programs at 94.24 percent. The impact of this research shows that students become more flexible towards the lecture process, experience with the community and provision for work after graduating from college.]]>
