Pinanga sp. merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan monokotil yang tergolong palem- paleman. Pinanga sp. ini masuk kedalam famili Arecaceae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis pinang di kawasan Gunung Gede Pangrango. Gunung Gede Pangrango merupakan salah satu wilayah kawasan konservasi pertama di Indonesia yang ditetapkan sebagai Cagar Alam Cibodas pada tahun 1889 yang memiliki keanekaragaman Pinang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif eksploratif. Sementara pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung menggunakan metode strip sensus yaitu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara berjalan disepanjang garis transek, serta mencatat spesies-spesies yang diamati disepanjang garis transek tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan spesies dalam famili Arecaceae ditemukan di Resort PTN Selabintana-Seksi PTN Wilayah III-Bidang PTN Wilayah II Sukabumi Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango adalah sebanyak 3 spesies yaitu Caryota maxima, Curculigo cavitulata, dan Pinanga javana.

The newest curriculum or well known as national curriculum has four goals in education of Indonesia. One of them is Higher Order Thinking Skills which means the output of teaching and learning process is required to have higher level of thinking. Thus, the Ministry of Education provides textbook for all level of schools; one of them is for Senior High School. This research aimed to investigate if HOTS is accommodated in English textbook provided by the Ministry of Education; focuses on the content of the textbook, in terms of questions and instructions provided and in relation to HOTS criteria which covers C4 (analyze), C5 (evaluate), and C6 (create). This research applied a qualitative method and used documentation and interview as the instruments. There are four respondents consisting of three English teachers from different schools, and one evaluation expert. The finding shows that HOTS have already been accommodated in English textbook. There are 116 of 211 HOTS questions with frequency 55%, 74 of 252 HOTS instructions with frequency 30%, and factual knowledge as the most dominant knowledge dimension in questions which have 90 of 211 with frequency 43%, and conceptual knowledge as the most dominant knowledge dimension in instructions which have 81 of 252 with frequency 32%. All questions and instructions provided are more about recalling information, guidelines or studies of concepts, describing a factual information and explaining the answer.

Extensive reading is broadly known as reading for enjoyment and is beneficial for EFL students. However, nowadays, the growth of technology has become a matter for students to be reading less than they should be. Thus, this research focused on the online extensive reading as the course program the students had experience in Pakuan University to find out their perspective. The respondents were 15 students from sixth-semester students who had experienced the Online Extensive Reading subject. The research was conducted by using qualitative method and using questionnaires and one-on-one interviews as the instruments. Data collected were separated into three indicators, which included the learning process, students’ skills improvement, and personal factors. Based on the result, the students’ perspective on the Online Extensive Reading helped them improve, especially in vocabulary gained, reading interest and reading comprehension. On the other hand, most students perceived that the learning process was effective for them to learn in this Online situation. However, they suggested that they needed more virtual meeting sessions instead of using chat forum to discuss or share. Furthermore, there were a few students that didn’t feel the effectiveness of the Online Extensive Reading because they had a problem in their personal characteristic such as, procrastinating, unmotivated to read, unmanageable time, and their lack of reading interest.

Reading is one skill that should be master by the students who want to learn English. However, students often find difficulties while learning English. To solve the problem, students should mastered four language English skills, and one of them is Reading. However, based on the preliminary data taken by the Researcher, it shows that students often did not know what they read. They are not aware of their own reading process. To solve this problem, the students need to know what kind of strategy that they should use while reading. The appropriate strategy that student should use when read is the metacognitive strategy. This paper entitled Metacognitive strategy on students’ literal and inferential comprehension is conducted to know what kind of metacognitive strategy used on students’ reading comprehension, especially their literal and inferential. The aims of this study are to know what kind of metacognitive strategy used on students’ literal and inferential comprehension skills in L2 reading and how are the use of metacognitive strategy on students’ literal and inferential comprehension to their reading skill. There were 3 strategy subscales or factors; Global Reading Strategies, Problem-Solving Strategies and Support Reading Strategies. Results revealed that participants reported frequent use the third metacognitive-strategy types stated by Mokhtari. K And Reichard. The method of this research is qualitative research. It takes place at Pakuan University. The population of this study were Fifth-semester students of the English language Education study program. While the sample of this research are students from class A and Class D that consists of 37 students. The technique and instruments of collecting data for this research are questionnaires, interviews, and forum group discussions. In conclusion, the result shows that the students use metacognitive strategy in their reading process.

Analysis of Achieving Student Learning Styles. Qualitative research with a case study approach. Thesis of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pakuan University, Bogor, 2020. Aims to identify the dominant learning style possessed by an outstanding student at SDN Semeru 1 Bogor City named Muhammdan Rafa Setiawan and what factors affect the student's achievement. This type of research is qualitative with the case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that students were less reactive to sound, easy to focus, quicker to understand new information by looking at it, were able to sit quietly during the lesson, answered verbal questions briefly to the point and liked learning activities by reading so it could be concluded that the dominant learning style the subject has, namely the visual learning style. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the subject's achievement are the presence of interest and high motivation to learn, have an unyielding and resilient attitude and support from the subject's teachers and parents.

Gaya bahasa sindiran adalah salah satu jenis gaya bahasa yang digunakan seseorang untuk mengejek secara tidak langsung. Pada gaya bahasasindiran terdapat tiga jenis di dalamnya. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai Gaya Bahasa Sindiran pada Lirik Lagu dalam Album Frekuensi Perangkap Tikus Volume Dua dan Implikasinya terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Fokus permasalahan ini adalah penggunaan gaya bahasa sindiran pada lirik lagu dalam album Frekuensi Perangkap Tikus Volume Dua dan subfokus penelitian ini adalah Implikasi gaya bahasa sindiran pada lirik lagu dalam album Frekuensi Perangkap Tikus Volume Dua terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan gaya bahasa sindiran pada lirik lagu dalam album Frekuensi Perangkap Tikus Volume Dua. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif, artinya hasil penelitian akan dipaparkan berupa kata-kata dari beberapa temuan data yang telah diolah. Dari hasil analisis tersebut ditemukan 52 data, yang terdiri dari 4 sindiran jenis ironi, 11 sindiran jenis sarkasme, dan 37 sindiran jenis sinisme. Album Frekuensi Perangkap Tikus Volume Dua ini, dapat dijadikan bahan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa di SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-ensiklopedia keanekaragaman talas di Kabupaten Bogor untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Juli 2021. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 4 Bogor kelas X MIPA 3 tahun akademik 2020/2021 sebanyak 35 orang siswa. Pelaksanaa uji coba lapangan hanya dilakukan secara terbatas menggunakan one group posttest only design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli, instrument angket literasi digital, dan lembar angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap e-ensiklopedia. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari analisis kelayakan bahan ajar dan analisis penilaian terhadap literasi digital siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa e-ensiklopedia yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai suplemen bahan ajar di kelas X MIPA 3 pada pembelajaran berdasarkan rata-rata nilai validasi ahli materi sebesar 85,41% dan rata-rata nilai validasi media sebesar 84,57% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Bahan ajar E-ensiklopedia memiliki keefektifan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa kelas X MIPA 3. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil posttest berupa angket yang diberikan siswa dengan persentase 81,05% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan angket guru dan siswa, sebesar 92,30% dan mendapatkan penilaian dari hasil angket siswa sebesar 89,63%.

Writing is a difficult skill to be taught. Students have problems especially in essay writing. They feel afraid to write their ideas and make errors and mistakes. This research aimed to find out the use of scaffolding techniques on students’ ability to write an essay. The research was conducted at the English Language Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. There are 12 students from fourth semester as the participants. In this research, pre-experimental methods with one group pre-test and post-test designs are used. Written test is given to measure students’ ability to write an essay. The data are analysed using the t-test formula. According to the data analysis, the mean of the difference was 19,75. Furthermore, the t-test value is 7,78. Meanwhile, t-table value is 2,20 at significant level 0,05 with degree of freedom (df) is 11. It shows that the t-test value is higher than the t-table value (7,78 more than 2,20). It means that an alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, the result shows that scaffolding technique is effective to be applied.

Supervisi pendidikan merupakan hal krusial yang perlu dilakukan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang memperhatikan seluruh komponen sumber daya organisasi. Supervisi pendidikan yang dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan berkesinambungan dapat menjadi modal untuk mengangkat citra sekolah di masyarakat. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan di SD Pertiwi Kota Bogor ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana implementasi supervisi pendidikan ditinjau dari elemen objek, subjek, tujuan dan waktu pelaksanaan supervisi yang tentu menggunakan berbagai macam teknik-teknik supervisi pendidikan. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum serta satu orang guru dan sumber data sekunder berupa dokumen-dokumen bukti pelaksanaan supervisi. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi serta analisis dokumentasi. Validasi data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi dan member check. Penelitian diawali dengan menentukan fokus utama, sub fokus, pencarian data, reduktsi data, interpretasi data serta pengambilan kesimpulan penelitian. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa SD Pertiwi Kota Bogor sudah menjalankan rangkaian kegiatan supervisi secara sitematis, terencana , dan terstruktur dengan mengimplementasikan teknik supervisi individu maupun kelompok melalui berbagai kegiatan sehingga hal tersebut menjadi modal dasar SD Pertiwi sebagai salah satu SD yang memiliki citra positif di masyarakat.

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing students' learning difficulties in mathematics. Located at the Neglasari State Elementary School, Bogor City, it was held in the even semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year. In this research, the writer uses qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection procedure was carried out by triangulation, namely a combination of the results of observations (observations), interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, presenting data systematically, and drawing conclusions from research findings. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by students in mathematics subjects were difficulties in understanding concepts, difficulties in understanding mathematical language, difficulties in calculations and difficulties in solving problems. It can be concluded that students still have difficulty learning in mathematics. The solution is that students must get the right treatment, with the efforts of teachers who are also supported by their parents, as well as the enthusiasm and motivation of students to improve their numeracy skills.
