Abstract

Andragogi yang didefiniskan sebagai seni dan ilmu mengajar orang dewasa merupakan pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan kemandirian, pengalaman, kebutuhan, dan motivasi pembelajar dewasa. Dalam praktik pendidikan Islam, pendidik (guru) menjadi salah satu komponen utama dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip tersebut secara efektif. Perspektif hadis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dan penghargaan terhadap pengalaman hidup merupakan bagian integral dari pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep pendidikan orang dewasa berdasarkan hadis, serta menggali prinsip-prinsip andragogi yang dapat diterapkan dalam praktik pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi terhadap hadis-hadis yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran orang dewasa dalam Islam mengutamakan pendekatan berbasis pengalaman, memenuhi kebutuhan aktual pembelajar, serta membangun motivasi internal untuk belajar. Selain itu, pentingnya kesabaran, penghargaan terhadap pengalaman, dan komunikasi efektif menjadi kunci keberhasilan dalam mendidik orang dewasa, yang cara berpikirnya berbeda dengan anak-anak. Studi ini mengembangkan konsep "andragogi profetik" sebagai model pendidikan transformatif berbasis nilai-nilai kenabian.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam sistem transaksi ekonomi, termasuk maraknya penggunaan metode pembayaran non tunai seperti e-wallet, mobile banking, dan QR code. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fenomena transaksi non tunai dalam perspektif hadis Nabi Muhammad saw., dengan menitikberatkan pada integrasi antara inovasi digital dan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan tematik terhadap hadis-hadis yang berkaitan dengan prinsip keadilan, kejujuran, larangan gharar (ketidakjelasan), riba (bunga), dan amanah dalam muamalah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun bentuk transaksi non tunai tidak secara eksplisit disebut dalam hadis klasik, namun nilai-nilai dan etika yang dikandung dalam hadis memberikan kerangka normatif yang relevan untuk menilai keabsahan dan kelayakan sistem transaksi digital kontemporer. Dengan pemahaman yang kontekstual, transaksi non tunai dapat diterima dalam Islam selama memenuhi prinsip transparansi, keadilan, dan tidak mengandung unsur yang diharamkan. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah dalam menilai inovasi ekonomi modern guna menjaga keselarasan antara perkembangan teknologi dan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

The phenomenon of filial crisis—the weakening of children's respect, care, and responsibility toward their parents—has emerged as a significant moral and social challenge in the modern era. This crisis is driven by shifting cultural values, the rise of individualism, and the disruption of traditional family roles in contemporary society. This article aims to analyze the phenomenon from the perspective of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths using a thematic and contextual approach. Hadiths addressing filial piety (birr al-wālidayn), prohibitions against disobedience, and encouragement to honor and care for elderly parents are examined in light of today’s social realities. The study finds that these hadiths emphasize not only ethical norms—both vertical (relationship with God) and horizontal (social relationships)—but also provide a spiritual foundation for preserving family harmony. By recontextualizing these prophetic values, Islam offers both normative and practical solutions to address the filial crisis. This study recommends integrating hadith-based values into character education curricula and reinforcing family-based social systems.

Abstract

This paper discusses the phenomenon of a self-value crisis in the context of modern materialism, with a focus on the Prophet Muhammad’s ḥadīth concerning ‘abd al-dīnār (the slave of money). The study integrates a ḥadīth-based approach with contemporary social philosophy to understand the impact of monetary domination on individual identity and morality. The findings reveal that the ḥadīth offers a profound critique of material enslavement, while social philosophy highlights the structural mechanisms that reinforce consumerist culture. Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between human actions and the threat of hellfire punishment from the perspective of the Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Using a thematic (mawḍū‘ī) approach, this research explores authentic Hadiths that explicitly describe various reprehensible acts and the corresponding forms of hellish punishment warned as their consequences. The study employs the method of takhrij to verify the authenticity of the chains of transmission (sanad), followed by matan analysis to uncover the ethical messages and spiritual dimensions embedded within. Findings indicate that the majority of hellfire threats are rooted in violations of the rights of fellow humans (ḥuqūq al-‘ibād)—such as lying, corruption, injustice, and other social transgressions—rather than ritual violations. This article emphasizes that the eschatological understanding in Hadiths is not merely dogmatic, but serves as a moral character-building mechanism.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the paradigm shift in Western hadith studies using Thomas Kuhn’s theoretical framework of shifting paradigm. The study focuses on tracing the epistemological evolution from the paradigm of orientalist skepticism toward a more critical-constructive approach that demonstrates openness to the authenticity of hadith. This research adopts a qualitative method through a library-based study. Data were collected from primary sources, including the works of Ignaz Goldziher, Joseph Schacht, G.H.A. Juynboll, and Harald Motzki. A historical-comparative analysis was employed to examine the methodological transitions across different periods. The findings reveal a significant shift in how Western scholars conceptualize hadith authenticity—from an a priori rejection to a more contextual and multidisciplinary academic engagement. Furthermore, within Western scholarship, hadith studies have expanded into a broader epistemological discourse. In this regard, hadith is no longer viewed solely as a site of methodological contention but also as a dialogical space between Western critical inquiry and the Islamic intellectual tradition, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and dynamic contemporary hadith scholarship.

Abstract

This study presents an alternative approach to ideal body maintenance based on the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), particularly through the dietary combination of fresh dates (rutab) and cucumber within the framework of hot-cold temperament balance. In the context of Tibb al-Nabawi, foods are classified according to their thermal properties hot or cold as reflected in the Hadiths and the practices of the Prophet (PBUH). The core issue addressed in this study is the lack of a systematic scientific model that explains how this Sunnah-based dietary combination contributes to the regulation of bodily homeostasis and the attainment of an ideal physique. The main objective of this study is to formulate a holistic dietary model rooted in the Prophet’s Sunnah by integrating physiological, nutritional and spiritual dimensions. This research adopts a qualitative-descriptive methodology grounded in critical literature analysis of authentic Hadiths, classical medical texts and contemporary scientific findings in nutrition. The findings indicate that consuming seven fresh dates and seven slices of cucumber daily has the potential to support metabolic functions and regulate internal body temperature, though it does not serve as a primary source of calories. The proposed model emphasizes that dietary applications based on hot-cold principles should be adapted to individual physiological conditions whether hot, cold, thin, or overweight thus contributing to systemic bodily balance. The implications of this study extend beyond the scientific validation of prophetic dietary practices it offers a new discourse in Islamic health sciences and promotes the integration of tradition and science in shaping a spiritually rooted and culturally relevant healthy lifestyle.
