Abstract

This study examines the influence of trust perception, risk perception, and promotion on purchase intention and their impact on purchasing decisions among Generation Z users of the Shopee Paylater Peer-to-Peer Lending service in the Bekasi area. Using a quantitative approach through a survey of 250 respondents and analysis with PLS-SEM and CVPAT, the results show that trust has a significant positive effect on purchase intention, while risk has a significant negative effect on both purchase intention and purchasing decisions. Promotion does not have a significant effect on purchase intention but has a positive impact on purchasing decisions. These findings highlight the importance of building trust and managing risk to encourage service usage, and indicate that effective promotion plays a greater role in influencing purchasing decisions than in generating initial interest. The practical implication suggests that service providers should focus on marketing strategies that enhance trust and minimize risk to optimize the adoption of Shopee Paylater.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of gender inclusivity in the board of directors and commissioners on daily stock prices, considering moderating variables such as company size and age. Regression analysis was conducted using data from listed companies, evaluating the variables of the percentage of female board directors (X1), percentage of female board commissioners (X2), company size (Z1), and company age (Z2). The results indicate that interactions between the percentage of female board members and company size (X1Z1, X2Z1) have a significant impact on stock prices, with p-values below 0.05. However, interactions with company age do not show significance. These findings highlight that while gender inclusivity affects stock price movements, its influence is stronger when combined with company size variables. This emphasizes the importance of considering gender diversity in corporate strategies to enhance market performance.

Abstract

The Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) was introduced in Indonesia during the G20 Summit in Bali in 2022 as a global framework to accelerate the clean energy transition. Indonesia’s high dependence on fossil fuels has intensified the urgency for renewable energy, making energy sovereignty a national priority. With USD 20 billion pledged, JETP aims to retire coal-fired power plants early and expand renewable energy. However, this study argues that JETP risks undermining Indonesia’s energy independence by creating new debt and technological dependency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and secondary data from international agencies, government reports, and academic research, the study analyzes JETP implementation in Indonesia. Findings show that most financing is loan-based, which increases Indonesia’s fiscal burden while contributing little to renewable deployment. This raises concerns over energy dependency, limited poverty alleviation, and unequal energy access. Without structural reforms in financing and technology transfer, JETP could reinforce dependency rather than support a just and sustainable transition. Therefore, the research highlights the importance of transparent governance, equitable financial mechanisms, and stronger domestic capacity building to ensure that the partnership genuinely aligns with Indonesia’s long-term goals of energy sovereignty, economic resilience, and inclusive development while promoting fairness, innovation, and self-reliance in Indonesia’s clean energy transformation.

Abstract

In recent years, manufacturing organizations have increased their dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives as part of their overall sustainability initiatives. Yet, it is difficult to translate these commitments into operational practice. Based on the evidence of recent research from manufacturing firms such as Jeong et al. (2025) on the variation in ESG performance across managerial levels and Barletta et al. (2021) on the importance of organizational readiness as a prerequisite for the implementation of sustainability, this paper takes a narrative and conceptual approach to investigate the role of middle managers in bringing ESG targets to life in day-to-day operations. The abstract is still too descriptive and lengthy, and does not clearly state the research gap and specific theoretical contributions. It is recommended to sharpen the focus on conceptual novelty and explicitly state the article's main contributions to ESG literature and the role of middle management. (2022). Complemented by Corporate Sustainability and the organizational integration perspectives, the literature reveals that although institutional pressures steer firms toward ESG alignment, actual operational embedding depends strongly on internal structures, managerial competence, and organizational readiness. Middle managers are required to translate top-down commitments, to apportion resources, and to balance production needs with sustainability demands in environments that are often marked by workforce complexity and resource constraints. This paper concludes with a conceptual model that shows how institutional forces interact with organizational support ecosystems and middle management capability, offering insights into why ESG integration is deep in some manufacturing firms and shallow in others. The study provides a basis for understanding the ESG implementation gap and directions for future empirical research in the manufacturing sector.

Abstract

This research explores the Sharia perspective on using QRIS as a digital payment platform for mosque donations, especially when funds come from conventional credit cards. As Indonesian mosques increasingly embrace QRIS to support digital philanthropy, ethical and legal questions emerge about transaction validity under Islamic law, particularly regarding riba involvement and public trust. Using a fiqh muamalah approach, the study analyzes the contractual structure behind QRIS transactions funded by conventional credit cards through doctrinal legal analysis, DSN-MUI fatwa review, and semi-structured interviews with mosque administrators and Islamic finance scholars. Findings reveal that while QRIS improves convenience and transparency, conventional credit cards introduce riba risks and sharia compliance uncertainty. Existing fatwas permit such payments only when no interest is charged, highlighting the need for digital systems ensuring transactions remain halal. The study concludes that stronger sharia governance, transparency, and public awareness are essential for maintaining ethical and trustworthy donation practices in the digital era. This research contributes to sustainable Islamic business practices, responsible digital finance, and ethical philanthropy, offering practical recommendations for mosque leaders and policymakers to harmonize technology with Islamic law while supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This study examines how technology perceptions influence MSMEs’ intention to use Islamic peer-to-peer (P2P) lending by analyzing the roles of Islamic financial literacy, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk, with religiosity as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 MSME owners in DKI Jakarta and analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with WarpPLS 7.0. The results indicate that Islamic financial literacy, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness have positive and significant effects on MSMEs’ intention to use Islamic P2P lending, while perceived risk has a significant negative effect. Furthermore, religiosity is found to moderate the relationships between Islamic financial literacy and perceived usefulness with intention to use Islamic P2P lending. However, religiosity does not moderate the effects of perceived ease of use and perceived risk on intention to use. These findings contribute to the literature on Islamic fintech adoption by highlighting the joint role of technological perceptions and individual religiosity in shaping MSMEs’ intentions to use Islamic P2P lending. The study also offers practical implications for policymakers and regulators in strengthening Islamic financial literacy and developing supportive regulatory frameworks for Islamic fintech. In addition, Islamic P2P lending providers are encouraged to enhance platform usability, service benefits, and security to increase MSME adoption.
