Abstract

Abstract This journal aims to describe the needs and expectations of customers in Islamic educational institutions. This journal uses a literature analysis method that is used to find out the description, which involves actual and factual references. The focus of this journal is the definition of customer needs and expectations in Islamic educational institutions, efforts to realize customer satisfaction in Islamic educational institutions, and follow-up on satisfaction in Islamic educational institutions. It is hoped that by understanding this journal, readers will be able to understand the management of customer needs and expectations in Islamic educational institutions and apply them in various educational activities.

Abstract

Socio-cultural change is a symptom of changing social and cultural conditions in a society, both in terms of increasing social strata and how to accept the development or progress of the times in society. Socio-cultural change is a symptom that always occurs in every society. This research aims to; 1) describe the environmental conditions of Gampong Gunong Kleng. 2) describe the social activities of the community due to advances in science and technology. 3) describe the causes of socio-cultural changes in society in the context of scientific and technological advances. 4) describe the impact of socio-cultural changes on the people of Gampong Gunong Kleng. Data were collected using interview techniques, as well as literature review, from books and journals related to socio-cultural changes due to advances in science and technology. The results of this study are: 1) local wisdom that occurs in the Gampong Gunong Kleng community is a community tradition that contains values and has been carried out for a long time from generation to generation, and has undergone changes. With the progress of science and technology in the form of ideas and activities as well as about the relationship between humans and God, humans and humans and their relationship with the environment. 2) the community views the importance of good social relations, and continues to maintain harmony. 3) there are causal factors and impacts of socio-cultural changes in gampong/village communities which result in differences in socio-cultural conditions in the previous year.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes at MTsS Harapan Bangsa Aceh Barat, intending to determine: 1) MBS planning in improving student learning outcomes. 2) Implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes, and 3) Supporting factors for the implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes in MTsS Harapan Bangsa. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the head of the madrasah, the head of the TU, and the teacher. The results of this study show that the implementation of MBS, especially the management of educators and education personnel in improving student learning outcomes, is first carried out planning in the form of needs analysis, recruitment and placement, compensation, coaching and development, and conducting evaluations. Concerning improving student learning outcomes, through the implementation of MBS, teachers can act autonomously by developing varied approaches, strategies, media, and teaching methods to motivate students to follow the learning process so that their learning outcomes increase. Meanwhile, the supporting factors for the implementation of MBS are the leadership of the head of the madrasah who is professional, social conditions, and public appreciation of education as well as government support for education.

Abstract

Roles are behaviors that are expected to explain what to do in certain situations, both formally and informally. While responsibility is the obligation to carry out a role/behavior that is intentional or unintentional in a certain way. The principal who is the leader is a teacher who is given additional duties to lead an aducational institution. The principal has a heavy but noble taks. The purpose of this study is to describe the roles and responsibilities of the principal in providing guidance to teachers. The method used is library research, which is looking for reference materials from books, journals and articles related to the title. The result of this study found that the principal in providing guidance to teachers must comply with existing regulations. The principal must understand the science of management, at least he can plan, organize, lead and control his members. Principals also have responsibilities related to coaching staff, especially teachers, so that later teachers can carry out their respective duties and authoritues.

Abstract

Supervision is an important service provided to teachers with the aim of improving the quality of the teaching staff. The implementation of supervision is very important to be carried out by the principal in order to develop the professionalism of the teacher himself. Teachers who are the spearhead of the success of an education are required to work professionally. Therefore, to make teachers professional, one of the efforts is to carry out supervision, both by the principal and supervisor. In carrying out supervision, supervisors are expected not to act as supervisors who are only looking for teachers in carrying out their duties. On the other hand, supervisors must be able to provide service assistance to overcome problems faced by teachers. Therefore, supervisors must be able and understand and master the objectives, techniques, functions as well as supervision methods, in order to obtain optimal benefits in the form of professional teachers.

Abstract

Academic Supervision is a supervisory activity aimed at improving conditions in an effort to improve the quality of student products through efforts to motivate, foster and direct people related to academic activities. Therefore it can be concluded that academic supervision activities are very important and must be carried out continuously by school principals to educators. Because academic supervision can improve the performance of educators, which in turn can improve the quality of learning itself. The objective is to find out how the academic supervision program is. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method and is supported by accurate data and based on relevant theory. The results of this study are in the planning of academic supervision which has a very important position in the process of academic supervision. Planning for an academic supervision program is compiling a monitoring planning document for a series of activities to help teachers develop the ability to manage the learning process to achieve learning goals. The benefits of planning an academic supervision program are: a). Guidelines for implementation and academic supervision. b). To equalize the perception of all school members about the educational supervision program. c). Guarantee of savings and effectiveness in the use of school resources (energy, time and costs).

Abstract

Analysis of the internal and external environment of educational institutions is very important to do. Environmental analysis will determine the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and threats faced by educational institutions in the current competitive era. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the role and scope of the internal and external environment in educational institutions as well as the environmental analysis process model. The results of the analysis and discussion found: the role of observing the internal and external environment consists of: Policy Oriented Roles, Integrated Strategic Planning Roles, and Function Oriented Roles. Then an analysis of the internal environment in educational institutions is carried out on human resources, non-human resources, finance, markets, educational operations, research and development. While the analysis of the external environment of educational institutions is carried out on the macro and micro environment outside the educational institution, including demography, economics, social, culture, politics, technology, and competitors. Furthermore, in conducting strategic environmental analysis, it can be done using the SWOT analysis model.

Abstract

Reward is an award in the form of reward, gifts, or reward given to a student who has done something good, or has succeeded in reaching a certain stage or development, or has reached a target. Reward as an important tool in education is given to students who have done something good, or havesucceeded in achieving acertain development, or have achieved a target in learning. In the concept of education, reward is a tool in increasing motivation and innovation in students. Awards given by school principals or teachers can motivate and innovate to students to increaase students’ stronger interest in learning. Even if it’s only a gesture of throwing a smile, thumbs up, or a given greeting by school leardership or teacher, it can please the feeling with a happy heart that is manifested in body movements with a happy soul. So reward and interest in learning cannot be separated in educational methods that must be carried out by school leardership or teachers.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic principles of management and educational practices in Islamic educational institutions are very important to be studied to be implemented in real terms. With this study, we will know the Islamic principles of management, and educational practices in Islamic educational institutions. The purpose of writing this article is to find out and explain how Islamic principles of management, and how educational practices in Islamic educational institutions. The results of the analysis and discussion found: Islamic principles of management are seen from four activities, namely; planning in Islam, organizing Islamic educational resources, providing motivation and leadership in Islamic education, and supervision in Islam. Then, to achieve a perfect living system as the characteristics of Islamic education and the objectives of national education, the three educational pathways in the form of informal, formal, and non-formal education are not only complementary or complementary but must be synchronized, should not run independently and must be an integral unit to prepare the nation's generation to have a character that covers all aspects of life, both in the form of physical, mental, faith and morals, emotional, aesthetic and social to achieve success in life in the world and in the hereafter, as well as harmony in the implementation of education as a perfect living system and efforts to organize national education so that our education does not become redundant.
