Abstract

Abstract

The principal as a leader must be responsible for everything in the school. Starting from the problems of educators, students, the teaching and learning process, the quality of education in schools to the existing facilities and infrastructure in schools including libraries. The principal must give full attention to the school library so that the organization can provide maximum benefits to help achieve educational goals in schools. The urgency of the existence and empowerment of school libraries must be fully realized by the principal so that the library is not only a supporting unit in schools but can be a center of learning resources for all school residents. The principal's attention to the library can be done by always providing motivation, advice, guidance, appreciation, supervision and fulfillment of all library resource needs. The principal must seek a budget for the procurement of various library materials, infrastructure, human resources and programs or activities in the school library. The principal can also establish good coordination and cooperation with various parties such as school committees, teachers, parents, education staff, students, residents around the school and even the business world. To be able to achieve this, the attention given by the principal to the library must be based on a high and sustainable commitment and sense of responsibility.

Abstract

Speaking skill is one of the communication skills. A good teacher must have the ability to communicate effectively, empathically, and politely. The communication skills of a teacher will determine the success of the previously designed program. With good speaking skills and techniques, a teacher can convey information clearly in front of students. The key to speaking skills is how a person can speak well and structure so that the ideas he wants to convey can be easily understood by many people. Speaking skills are not only how to speak but also must be accompanied by body language, self-confidence, confidence, and a good demeanor to make the audience feel comfortable. A teacher who has to deliver subject matter every day or deliver educational messages to students can be categorized as a good speaker teacher. With good speaking skills, teachers can more easily deal with unexpected situations. In addition, the importance of speaking skills for teachers is that all material and information conveyed to students will be easier to understand and well received.

Abstract

This study examines the leadership of the principal in the new normal era at MTsN 1 Aceh Jaya. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used descriptive methods with an inductive approach. The results of this study indicate that the leadership of the principal in the new normal era at MTsN 1 Aceh Jaya can be seen from several stages including planning, implementation, and supervision. The planning stage is based on the Joint Decree of the 4 Ministers on the Implementation of Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period. The implementation is carried out in collaboration between parents and schools, where the school before carrying out the learning process holds a meeting with parents about the policy of face-to-face learning in the new normal era. The implementation is in an online form, namely through WhatsApp group media, while face-to-face through the division of shifts, namely shift A and shift B on the condition that they comply with health protocols. The principal supervises teachers and students by looking at the attendance of teachers and students and visiting the teacher's room and student class.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 West Aceh is one of the most favorite madrasas in West Aceh. Of course, this cannot be separated from the role of public relations which has done various things in promoting MAN 1 Aceh Barat. Public relations plays a vital role in the process of providing education. This paper aims to determine the role of Public Relations in increasing the competitiveness of MAN 1 Aceh Barat. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the head of the madrasa, 1 waka from the public relations department, and 6 madrasa teachers at MAN 1 Aceh Barat. Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Activities in data analysis include the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Public Relations of MAN 1 Aceh Barat has an essential role in increasing the competitiveness of madrasas. The role of public relations is carried out in two forms, namely 1) fostering internal relations with school residents by maintaining friendship and cooperation between fellow school communities and 2) fostering external relations for madrasas by maintaining relationships with outside communities such as collaborating in the fields of education, health, security, finance and make visits to schools.

Abstract

Abstract This journal aims to describe the needs and expectations of customers in Islamic educational institutions. This journal uses a literature analysis method that is used to find out the description, which involves actual and factual references. The focus of this journal is the definition of customer needs and expectations in Islamic educational institutions, efforts to realize customer satisfaction in Islamic educational institutions, and follow-up on satisfaction in Islamic educational institutions. It is hoped that by understanding this journal, readers will be able to understand the management of customer needs and expectations in Islamic educational institutions and apply them in various educational activities.

Abstract

Socio-cultural change is a symptom of changing social and cultural conditions in a society, both in terms of increasing social strata and how to accept the development or progress of the times in society. Socio-cultural change is a symptom that always occurs in every society. This research aims to; 1) describe the environmental conditions of Gampong Gunong Kleng. 2) describe the social activities of the community due to advances in science and technology. 3) describe the causes of socio-cultural changes in society in the context of scientific and technological advances. 4) describe the impact of socio-cultural changes on the people of Gampong Gunong Kleng. Data were collected using interview techniques, as well as literature review, from books and journals related to socio-cultural changes due to advances in science and technology. The results of this study are: 1) local wisdom that occurs in the Gampong Gunong Kleng community is a community tradition that contains values and has been carried out for a long time from generation to generation, and has undergone changes. With the progress of science and technology in the form of ideas and activities as well as about the relationship between humans and God, humans and humans and their relationship with the environment. 2) the community views the importance of good social relations, and continues to maintain harmony. 3) there are causal factors and impacts of socio-cultural changes in gampong/village communities which result in differences in socio-cultural conditions in the previous year.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes at MTsS Harapan Bangsa Aceh Barat, intending to determine: 1) MBS planning in improving student learning outcomes. 2) Implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes, and 3) Supporting factors for the implementation of MBS in improving student learning outcomes in MTsS Harapan Bangsa. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the head of the madrasah, the head of the TU, and the teacher. The results of this study show that the implementation of MBS, especially the management of educators and education personnel in improving student learning outcomes, is first carried out planning in the form of needs analysis, recruitment and placement, compensation, coaching and development, and conducting evaluations. Concerning improving student learning outcomes, through the implementation of MBS, teachers can act autonomously by developing varied approaches, strategies, media, and teaching methods to motivate students to follow the learning process so that their learning outcomes increase. Meanwhile, the supporting factors for the implementation of MBS are the leadership of the head of the madrasah who is professional, social conditions, and public appreciation of education as well as government support for education.

Abstract

Roles are behaviors that are expected to explain what to do in certain situations, both formally and informally. While responsibility is the obligation to carry out a role/behavior that is intentional or unintentional in a certain way. The principal who is the leader is a teacher who is given additional duties to lead an aducational institution. The principal has a heavy but noble taks. The purpose of this study is to describe the roles and responsibilities of the principal in providing guidance to teachers. The method used is library research, which is looking for reference materials from books, journals and articles related to the title. The result of this study found that the principal in providing guidance to teachers must comply with existing regulations. The principal must understand the science of management, at least he can plan, organize, lead and control his members. Principals also have responsibilities related to coaching staff, especially teachers, so that later teachers can carry out their respective duties and authoritues.
