This study quantitatively analyzes the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI) and inflation on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Bangka Belitung Islands Province from 2019 to 2021. The region’s economy relies heavily on tin mining, yet struggles with economic stability and human development, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and trend analysis, this research reveals that HDI positively influences GRDP, though its growth slowed in 2020 due to pandemic-related disruptions in education and health services. Inflation exhibits a complex relationship: low inflation in 2020, driven by reduced demand, negatively affected GRDP, while the 2021 economic recovery saw inflation rise alongside GRDP growth. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on a resource-dependent region during a global crisis, highlighting how macroeconomic and human development factors interact under external shocks. Additionally, it provides empirical evidence on the dual role of inflation in economic contraction and recovery phases. Contributions include policy recommendations for stabilizing HDI growth through education and healthcare investments, as well as inflation control measures to sustain economic recovery. The study also advocates for economic diversification and infrastructure development to reduce dependency on mining and promote inclusive, long-term growth. These findings are particularly relevant for policymakers in resource-rich regions facing similar developmental challenges.

The rapid growth of coffee angkringan micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jember Regency highlights the potential of traditional food and beverage businesses among young entrepreneurs. However, the determinants of their success remain underexplored. This study examines the impact of innovation, risk-taking, digital marketing, entrepreneurial knowledge, and motivation on the business success of coffee angkringan MSMEs, addressing a gap in literature concerning traditional MSMEs in emerging economies. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 112 respondents and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that risk-taking significantly enhances business success, while innovation, digital marketing, entrepreneurial knowledge, and motivation show no significant effects. This study contributes by: (1) Identifying risk-taking as the primary driver of success in traditional MSMEs, contrasting with prior studies that emphasize innovation or digital tools; (2) Providing empirical evidence on the limited impact of digital marketing in informal business sectors, suggesting context-specific adoption challenges; and (3) Offering practical insights for policymakers and entrepreneurs to prioritize strategic risk management over conventional capacity-building approaches. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on angkringan—a unique blend of traditional and modern coffee MSMEs—and its challenge to common assumptions about entrepreneurial success factors in rural Indonesian contexts. These findings underscore the importance of adaptive strategies tailored to local business environments.

This study investigates the factors influencing customer satisfaction with BRImo digital banking services, with a specific focus on feature usage, security, and service quality. The research is particularly urgent given the rapid digital transformation in Indonesia's banking sector and the lack of studies examining digital banking adoption in rural areas. Using a quantitative approach, this study collected data through questionnaires distributed to 95 BRImo users at BRI Unit Suboh Situbondo, selected through simple random sampling. Multiple regression analysis was employed to analyze the relationships between the independent variables (features, security, and service quality) and customer satisfaction. The findings reveal that service quality emerges as the most significant factor affecting customer satisfaction, while feature usage and security show no substantial impact. These results provide novel insights by highlighting the distinct dynamics of digital banking adoption in rural contexts, where service quality outweighs technological features in driving user satisfaction. The study contributes to the existing literature by offering empirical evidence from an underbanked region and challenging conventional assumptions about digital banking adoption drivers. For practitioners, the findings suggest that banks should prioritize service reliability and responsiveness when expanding digital services to rural customers, rather than focusing solely on feature-rich applications.

This study aims to analyze the strategic management approach of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Tbk in improving financial health and realizing the new vision established in 2025. The method used is qualitative descriptive with secondary data analysis from financial reports, OJK publications, and other relevant documents. The result shows, the bank faced significant challenges in the initial years following the new vision’s launch, particularly in the indicators of NPF (2.34%), BOPO (105%), and ROA (0.3%), although CAR (15%) and FDR (82%) remained relatively strong. Strategic management was applied through strengthening risk management, operational efficiency via digitalization, sharia product innovation, and internalization of blessing values as part of the organizational culture. The study’s limitations include a greater focus on quantitative data than qualitative data and a case study limited to a single institution, requiring caution in drawing conclusions. Future research is recommended to use mixed methods and compare practices with other sharia banks so that, evaluation and benchmarking is believed to enhance Bank Muamalat’s competitiveness and sustainability.

This study investigates the growing phenomenon of thrifting (second-hand shopping) on TikTok Shop, examining how price, perceived value, and lifestyle influence purchasing decisions in this emerging social commerce platform. The research addresses a critical gap in understanding digital-native consumption patterns, particularly in developing markets where thrifting represents both an economic choice and lifestyle statement. Using an explanatory research design, data was collected from 100 active TikTok Shop users through purposive sampling, with validated questionnaires measuring key variables. Analysis involved rigorous statistical testing including multiple linear regression and coefficient of determination. The findings reveal that all three factors significantly impact thrifting purchases: price sensitivity demonstrates strong influence, followed by perceived value and lifestyle congruence. Notably, these variables collectively explain a substantial portion of purchase decision variance, highlighting their interconnected effects in social commerce environments. This study contributes novel insights by being among the first to explore thrifting behavior specifically within TikTok Shop's unique ecosystem, revealing how traditional economic factors interact with contemporary lifestyle values in digital marketplaces. The results advance theoretical understanding of sustainable consumption in social commerce contexts while offering practical guidance for marketers seeking to engage the thrifting demographic through platform-specific strategies that balance affordability, value perception, and lifestyle alignment.
