Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the consumer characteristics in buying indonesian yellow rice with the menu of snakehead fish, to know the relation between buying decision with price perception, location perception, and taste perception, and to identify level of consumer satisfaction reviewed from aspect of product, price, location, and also service. This research is conducted on (November 2015 - June 2016) by using sampling methods that is Accidental sampling. The result of the research shows that consumers characteristic that buy indonesian yellow rice with the menu of snakehead fish in the Culinary Tour Area Kampung Nasi Kuning Kota Samarinda is dominated by female consumer (50,91%), age 21 – 30 (34,55%), high school educated SLTA (45,45%), working as employee (45,45%), income Rp 2.000.001 - Rp 4.000.000 (65,45%) and consumer with the tribe of Banjar stands 25 people (45,45%). Consumer perception concerning the price, location, and taste toward the buying decision is categorized as an average consideration. The result of the analysis of correlation coefficients Rank spearman that means there is a relation between buying decision toward price perception, location perception, and taste perception in indonesian yellow rice in the Culinary Tour Area Kampung Nasi Kuning Kota Samarinda. The satisfaction index of consumer the product is categorized as high satisfaction around 76,4%, price is categorized as high satisfaction around 68,8%, location is categorized as average satisfaction around 66% and service is categorized as average satisfaction around 67%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic characteristics, perception, motivation, and public attitudes towards regional coastal development program. Also to know the relationship between socioeconomic characteristic, perception and motivation with public attitudes towards Derawan Island Coastal Park program. Sampling method use purposive sampling with 60 respondents, consist to 30 respondents of JALA and 30 respondents of Non JALA. The research has been conducted on July to December 2015. Data analysis methods use descriptive qualitative method and quantitative analysis method with Rank Spearman’s correlation. The result shows there is a difference in attitudes towards between JALA and Non JALA. The socioeconomic characteristics factors related with attitudes towards of Derawan Regional Coastal Park are membership status of JALA and ownership status of fishing gear. The perception and motivation factor has significant effect relationship toward public attitude of Tanjung Batu village toward of Derawan Islands Coastal Park.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the public perception on the sales as well as to analyze the consumer satisfaction toward the fresh fish marketing at Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality.This research was conducted in 5 months time, starting from the beginning of the year 2015, located at Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The findings of the research showed that based on needs recognition, the highest number of the respondents revealed that the decision making process of the consumer’s purchase was due to the proximity of the residence to the market. Therefore, the biggest advantage sought by the consumers was the close distance. The highest frequency of information searching was from the sigh board. Moreover, for the alternative evaluation, the highest frequency of respondents revealed that consumers chose to visit Rawa Indah Market because the fish there was fresh. For the consumer’s decision, the highest frequency of respondents showed that their visits were done every afternoon on daily basis. Furthermone, for the marketing result, the highest frequency showed that consumers would keep on buying even though there was a 10 - 40 % price hike. They would come again and their satisfaction level ‘satisfield’. The attributes that should be maintained would be types of fish, accessibility to the location, seller’s responsiveness, friendliness and politiness, safety and convenience, parking areas and market facilities. On the other hand, the attributes which should be improved would be seller’s communication skills, market arrangement and service process. From the CSI calculation, a value of 4.97 % was abtained, which means that consumers visiting Rawa Indah Market in Bontang Municipality was not satisfied enough by the existing attributes. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that the people in Bontang was not too satisfied. Therefore, the related parties or the related government institutionsthat manage Rawa Indah Marketing in Bontang Municipality should improve their quality.

Abstract

The aims of this study are, knowing the knife fish processing activities at Amplang Juanda, measuring the economic performance of business through profits, payback period (PP), break evenpoint (BEP), revenue cost ratio (RCR), and to know the marketing channels of the knife fish amplang on the business Amplang Juanda. The results showed that amplang knife fish processing business run by Amplang Juanda is profitable, evidenced by the profit value of IDR 2.259.425 per month, revenue cost ratio of 1,34 (RCR>1), the actual condition of production and the price is above break evenpoint condition, payback period for 1,9 months. Marketing channel amplang knife fish that occur are zero-level marketing channel. Labor productivity by an average of 9 packs/hour. Every hour their labor can produce amplang 9 packs/hour or 2,7 kg/hour. Fish productivity of 0,96 kg of amplang per 1 kg of fish. Every 1 kg of knife fish can produce as much as 0,96 kg amplang knife fish.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the community’s Attitudes of Kampung Teluk Semanting towards Derawan Island Coastal Park Program (TPKD) and its correlationship with individual characteristics, socio-cultural dynamics and the public perception of the quality of TPKD Program. The sampling method applied in this study was census methods and the number of respondents were 40 people. This research was conducted during August 2015 in Kampung Teluk Semanting, Berau district. Spearman Rank correlation statistics test was applied to analyze the correlationship of individual characteristics, socio-cultural dynamics and the public perception of the quality programs towards the community’s attitudes of TPKD Program. Spearman Rank correlation test results showed that individual characteristics and dynamics of socio-cultural community has no real correlations towards the cummunity’s attitudes on TPKD Program. The variables that showed very real significant correlation towards the community’s attitudes on TPKD Program was the public perception of program quality, spesifically was the suitability of the program concept indicators.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the financial feasibility of Fish Cracker Cork businesses based on the criteria of investment that namely, the NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), Net B/C (Net Benefit Cost Ratio), PP (Payback Period), knowing then current marketing and the factors that affect the business of fish crackers Cork. The Result showed that the business of fish crackers Cork in Kota Bangun Ulu districk, Kutai Kartanegara for the financially viable and prospective to operable and developed, evidenced by the value of the investment criteria i.e. NPV = Rp.102.125.320,82; IRR = 313%; Net B/C = 11.76 and PP = 5.10 month. These result indicate that fish crackers Cork business result can give you an advantage, since before the end of venture investment model, already issued can be restored. Fish Crackers Cork produced by communities in the citizens of the Kota Bangun Ulu and the marketing are samarinda, Tenggarong Subdistrict around Kota Bangun. The Factors that influence are a factor of nature, the season, the factor of technology and skill as well as experience.

Abstract

The study aims to: (1) analyze estimated profit of mangrove crab fishery at Muara Badak Ilir Village, Muara Badak Subdistrict Kutai Kartanegara Regency; (2) determine marketing channel and efficiency of mangrove crab fishery in the studied area and (3) know main problems faced by crab fishermen related to the ban policy to the capture of mature female and the specified crab species in the area. Results showed that the estimated profit of crab fisher was Rp 7.920.607,14,- /month. In addition, the estimated profit achieved by crab middleman was calculated as Rp 9.682.444,44,-/month. Marketing institutions those involved in the crab business in the village level were fishermen, middlemen and local consumers while retailers, wholesaler, exporter and national and foreign consumers are the remaining institutions those run out of the village. Margin level both fisher and middleman was determined Rp 4.700 with the marketing efficiency level was 86% meaning that the crab market was efficient. The main problems found in the field were the following: the lack of information regarding the ban policy, fishermen faced the increased income due to this policy, the fishermen’sdilemma onthe utilization of the mature female crabs as the natural resources and the lack of policy dissemination to the coastal community concerning the capture ban of mature and the specified crabs. Abstract

This research aims to find out the financial prospect of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L) hatchery business development in the future. Results of research showed that goldfish (Cyprinus carpio L) hatchery business development in the pond is able to give financial benefits for the farmers in the future so that this development is financially feasible to continue. The hatchery business development is in the economic scale. The marketing areas of goldfish breeding include Loa Kulu, Sanga-sanga, Samarinda City, Balikpapan, Bontang and Sangatta.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to analyze level production, level effort, economic rents optimal and resources of mackerel (Scomberomorus sp.) In the waters of Kutai Kartanegara. Based on the model of control (MEY), sustainable (MSY), Open (OA) on actual conditions. Based on the findings of research known that the production rate actual condition is 1338.28 tons/year (MSY), 16.92 tons/year (OA) and 1338.28 (MEY). Further efforts utilization rate mackerel on actual condition is 22304.29 trips/year (MSY), 0.0003 trips/year (OA) and travel 22234.07/year (MEY). The latter subsequently in the Economic rent value is 36146.13 million/year (MSY), 460.14 million/ year (OA) and 36146.49 (MEY).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the motivation of fishermen from Pasuruan village migrated to Manggar Baru. Village, Public Perception to fishery resources in Balikpapan city, the research method used Case Study. The analyzed data method used descriptive and quantitative analysis. The result of research was the motivation fisherman group of Harapan Baru. Migrate to Manggar Baru is to found new fisheries resources in Balikpapan City, they perception of the fish and shrimp stock at Balipapan sea is moderat.
