Abstract

Social media presence become a basic necessity for the community. Almost all levels of society use this technology. Likewise in the business world. Business actors must race to introduce their products. The use of social media is one of the solutions to speed up business promotion. The purpose of research to determine the perceptions and types of use of social media by processed fisheries business actors in Sanga Sanga District. Methods of collecting data were observation and interviews. Samples were taken by means of a census of 11 people. Data were tabulated and analyzed descriptively. To measure the level of perception using a Likert scale. The results showed that the level of perception was in the moderate category (score reached 27.91), meaning that the use of social media in business activities was still not optimal. The types of social media used are Facebook (81.82%), whatsAap (54.55%) and youtube (18.18%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi nilai rekomendasi jumlah produksi (catch) dan upaya penangkapan (effort) sumber daya udang dogol (Metapenaeus monoceros, Fab) yang optimal dengan Model Bioekonomi Gordon-Schaefer dengan estimasi parameter biologi melalui Algoritma Fox serta mengetahui status tingkat pemanfaatan aktual sumber daya udang dogol di Perairan Samboja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan sumber daya udang dogol di perairan samboja dapat dilakukan dengan dua kondisi pengelolaan optimal yaitu Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) dan Maximum Economic Yield (MEY) dengan jumlah masing-masing hasil tangkapan (catch) per tahun sebesar 372,99 ton, dan 364,72 ton dan jumlah masing-masing upaya penangkapan (effort) per tahun sebesar 5.445 trip dan 4.634 trip dan rente ekonomi per tahun yang dihasilkan masing-masing sebesar Rp 6.910.514.530 dan Rp 7.128.936.618. Status tingkat pemanfaatan aktual sumber daya udang dogol di Perairan Samboja telah mengalami overfishing secara biologi.

Abstract

This purpose of research is to assess the level of dynamics farmer group of fishermen at Coastal in Bontang. Collected  data with survey methods, namely direct observation and interviews with respondents. Respondents were taken as many as 30 people who are members of farmer groups of fishermen. The data obtained were processed, tabulated and analyzed descriptively and using scoring techniques. The results showed that from the aspect of group dynamics analysis that the scores achieved relatively high, with the average score achieved by 89.85 (scores range from 75.1 to 97.5) .This suggests that groups of fishermen are relatively dynamic, meaning fellow members of farmers fishermen able to foster good cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the household income of fishermen's wives in increasing family income. The research method  used is purposive sampling with quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques.  The results showed that the total average income in households using bubu fishing gear was Rp. 4,570,000 / month and rawai fishing gear was Rp. 5,870,000 / month. Meanwhile, there were no contributions from other family members The contribution of fishermen's wives who worked as salted fish processors was different. Where the highest contribution of wives is the fisherman's wife who usesn bubu fishing gear by 55%.  The value is in the interval of 50.01% - 100% which means that the contribution of fishermen's wives who use bubu fishing gear is very influential and important inhelping to increase the income of fishermen's families with bubu fishing gear.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konstribusi pendapatan yang diberikan istri nelayan dalam keluarga dan mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mendorong istri nelayan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga di Desa Muara Wis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kontribusi pendapatan istri nelayan yang bekerja sebagai pengolah ikan asin sebesar 35,81% (11 orang) dan yang bekerja sebagai pengolah kerupuk ikan adalah 37,86% (9 orang). Dengan deskripsi nilai tersebut berada pada kategori yang rendah dengan rentang kontribusi 20% - 39%. Artinya kontribusi istri masih belum cukup penting untuk membantu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga nelayan di Desa Muara Wis. Kemudian faktor yang mendorong istri nelayan bekerja guna meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga di Desa Muara Wis adalah adanya pengaruh dari waktu luang yang dapat dilakukan istri nelayan, pendapatan suami yang belum cukup memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga, dan untuk menambah tingkat kesejahteraan keluarga

Abstract

This study aimed at knowing the public perception towards the development of marine ecotourism activities in Mutiara Indah beach based on the indicators referred by the Ministry of Tourism collaborating with WWF Indonesia. This study was conducted for 13 months, starting from January 2020 to March 2021. The sampling method was a case study with a total sample of 25 respondents. The analysis method was purposive sampling analysis. The result of this study showed that, in general, the people had a positive perception of 91.02% against the management continuity of marine ecotourism in Mutiara Indah beach, Tanjung Limau village. The public perception towards the ecotourism continuity from the aspect of the economy, social, and environment was in the high criteria of 100%, indicating strongly positive. The public perception towards the public institution development was at the high criteria of 100%, indicating strongly positive. The public perception towards a public-based economy was in the moderate criteria of 76%, indicating fairly positive. The public perception towards the educational principles was in the moderate criteria of 76%, indicating fairly positive. Meanwhile, the public perception towards the development and the implementation of site planning and framework for the ecotourism location management was in the positive criteria of 80%, indicating positive. Abstract

The purposes of this research is to analyze the financial feasibility of the amplang business Ud Ogi Passompe to see whether this business is feasible or not using investment criteria with NVP, IRR, Net B / C Ratio and Payback Period. This study used a field survey method, its sampling in the form of case studies. The results showed that from the financial aspect, amplang business is feasible to run and develop. as evidenced by the investment criteria, with an NVP value of IDR 1.683.306.559, IRR of 40%, Net BCR of 2.75 and a payback period of 2.91 years (34.9 months). Abstract

The study aimed at financially analyzing the business viability of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery by Alam Subur fish farmer group and analyzing the sensitivity level of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur fish farmer group against the economic variable changes in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district. Data collection from the field was conducted in December 2019; the primary data was collected by conducting a direct interview with the respondents using a list of questions made according to the research objective. Sampling was done using the census method and all population members (3 people) became the respondents. To know the business viability, the researcher conducted the financial analysis using the following indicators: NPV, IRR, Nen, and B/CPbP, and the sensitivity analysis to know the sensitivity level to both benefits and costs. The result of the analysis showed an NPV of 89.858.225, an IRR of 117%, an NBCR of 3.7, and a Payback Period of 1.35 years. Consequently, Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur Fish Farmer Group in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district, was viable (profitable) and it can be maintained. The result of the sensitivity analysis showed that Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) hatchery business by Alam Subur Fish Farmer Group in Purwajaya Village, Loa Janan Sub-district, was very sensitive to a decline in revenue and an increase in costs. Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the level of producers perception in using social media as a means of promotion and determine the role of social media as a means of promotion of marketing envelopes. The research method used was a survey method, quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques with a total sample of 11 people. The results of this study indicate that the producers perception of social media is in the medium category, with a score reached 27,91 which is in the range of scores of 20,01 – 28,00. Abstract

Fishermen's income is uncertain and depends heavily on the catch obtained at the time of production of the catch.The research was conducted for analyze of the influence factor of capital, fishing gear, time of seafaring, and weather of income fisherman in Tanjung Sembilang, Samboja Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Kind of research data used i.e. quantitative data with primary data source by interview using questionnaires. Variable independent of research is fishing gear (X1), capital (X2), time of seafaring (X3), and weather (X4), variable dependent is income fisherman (Y). Method of analysis using analysis multiple regression, test of hypotesis, determination, and test of classic assume by using SPSS 16.0 for windows programe. The result simultaneously indicates that factor of fishing gear, capital, time of seafaring, and weather significant depends of income fisherman. Partially indicates that factor time of seafaring (1.354) and weather (-0.743) not significant depends of income fisherman, but factor of fishing gear (4.239) and factor of capital (2.518) has a significant depends of income fisherman. The highest dependent significant of income fisherman in Tanjung Sembilang, Samboja Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency i.e. factor of fishing gear with a test-t value of 4.239 > 2.014.
